I have a Gianni story through my father. I am originally from Miami, Florida and my father and I both at one point lived on South Beach. Days after Gianni was brutally taken, my father said to me, " he had no idea that is who he was having breakfast with. My father would visit one of his favorite cafes on Ocean Drive, 'News Cafe' reading the paper (South of Gianni's mansion) and struck up an conversation with Gianni and never knew who he was. My father wasn't into fashion as I was, and I wasn't with him during these morning jaunts. My father said they would talk about music, art over juice and a muffin, and Gianni never announced who he was. Oh I would have caught Daddy up to date....My father passed on a few years after Gianni. Peace, y'all. 🥲
Gianni Versace was light years ahead. Absolute legend. I’m pretty sure you’ve been requested this already, but would love to see your reaction to his FW 1992 collection, aptly titled “Miss S&M”. Great channel!
He was such a fashion genius! Ahhhhh omg I haven’t done the S&M collection. Adding it now!! I did spring 91 and 92 awhile back, idk why I kept doing spring shows haha. Thanks for the request! Appreciate the comment! 🩷
Malcolm…I always have my iPad and TH-cam on while I work…and almost all of the time I just glance at it…But…when you come on…I cannot take my eyes and ears away from you!! I LOVE YOU…Your descriptions , your Opinions…it’s too much for me to miss..haha even though I can always watch when I am done working…nope, I MUST look at you and hear your clever “the Chiffon of it all!” phrases. Love! 😘
Wow!!! Such a compliment! Thank you again…reading these comments just gave me the strength I need to keep going! Looking forward to focusing on putting more videos out. Peace and love to you!! 💖🫶🏾
Your commentary is spectacular and so engaging. I love that you’re such a fan and not here to tear into anyone. Your love of fashion and all that it encompasses is very apparent. There are SO SO many great ICONIC 90s fashion shows (outside of Versace) that I think you’d adore: Tom Ford 1996-1998, Isaac Mizrahi from 1992-1995 (including the one featured in UNZIPPED), Lagerfeld/Chanel 92-96, Anna Sui, the Marc Jacobs 1993 Perry Ellis Grunge show, etc.,… full of the biggest supers of the day. Keep it up, please. 😊
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this comment. I’ve read it over and over again because I’m just so grateful for your kind words! I am truly a fan of fashion and culture, been working in the industry for almost 10 years and I love to learn more and more. Just updated my list with some of these gems you’ve mentioned- I’ve gotten Mizrahi requests a lot, feels like that could be next. I have Vivienne Westwood’s Anglomania show in the chamber currently 😏 and I will certainly keep it up! Thank you for this incredible input and for being so nice!
Dearest, your mouth is watering because these creations are all YUMMY!! Really enjoy your enthusiastic coverage. I could see you in several of those beauties. Every time Naomi sashays out, .....your reactions are GOLDEN!! Naomi early on, indulged in injecting Vitamin C and other vitamins through IV. I assume that is where the inner glow comes from. She spoke about this several years ago in an interview. I am not a fan of needles, but it makes complete sense. Carry on Malcolm!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words and compliments!! I definitely did not know that about Naomi and the vitamins honey! I live for that!! Lol I don’t mind a cosmetic needle myself so might look into that some day 😂🙌🏾💯💖
Watch the video in 1080p60HD! Hi friends and dolls, the gag is I did literally film this video on Easter Sunday! 😂🥴 but I’m happy to finally have it out. Working on a more consistent schedule to get through these requests! Going back to the pop girls next 👀 thanks for watching! 🩷✨
@@erikahuete4685 omg…what a compliment!!! Loveeeeed Joan and her work on Fashion Police. Thank you so much for manifesting that moment for me! Maybe one day I’ll be on the steps 😏💖🙌🏾

That was the ICONIC Debra Shaw you inquired about. I am requesting a deep dive on her. She is having another MOMENT in fashion. She was a muse to practically EVERYONE!!! From Philadelphia!!! She took a chance on herself and became DEBRA SHAW!!! 🤗🤩
Wait I don’t think I knew she’s from Philly!!!!!!! Love me some Philly! She has been highly requested and is now the second next feature that I’ll be doing 🙌🏾💯 thanks for the request!
The model cast here has been watered down. With the exception of Naomi and Shalom, all the other girls are relatively new and did not last...It really was the end of an era...Gianni was to return home, and Yasmeen Ghauri was about to disappear into obscurity.....
Queen Yasmeen! Yeah I was kinda like….wait where are all the girls?!? I thought I just wasn’t recognizing because of the makeup 😂 but this makes sense. Def the end of an era 🙌🏾💯
There were a few others besides Naomi and Shalom here who worked quite a bit, including Stella Tennant and the chocolate goddess, Debra Shaw. They worked often and were known in the industry. Debra Shaw was a muse to both Monsieurs Saint Laurent and Givenchy.
Gianni used Irina Panteava in this show and I love that . She was a ground breaker for Asian models in the 90s . ( side note she also played jade in the mortal kombat movie )
Omg! Thank you for this fun fact! Gianni did such a great job at representation on his runways. I’m going to look into Irina more! Sounds like an icon especially that mortal kombat part haha 🔥🙌🏾
@@MalcolmSoariesWait I think there are two gorgeous chocolate girls in this show (wait....THREE, sorry!) and now I'm not sure if I named the right one and I don't know the other model's name!
