It can even do some lightweight AI work, using forge UI it even gets decent stable diffusion XL models to work, only poorly optimised games are an issue.

Everybody overlooks the RX 6800 non XT. It's such a good card. It's very power efficient, has 16GB of vram and does very good at 1440p at pretty much any game you throw at it.
i dont disagree, but you have to find it at a good price. it isn't worth the 10$ less than the 68 xt tbh, if you look at the difference in SPs of the 6800 to 68 xt, to 69 xt, you'll find that it really isn't worth the money unless you get it dirt cheap and used

nah the most overlooked is the 6800 non XT! you can overclock it and get it close enough to the performance of the XT/rtx 3080. That's the card i have!

Using a gtx 1070 in my current pc! Its awesome! Fh5 at Ultra and 60 fps in most places , Minecraft with high render distances and shaders, gta V completely maxed out , indie games, etc.. And the 8gb of vram come in handy

RX7800xt sapphire for me is the BEST investment I made. I love it and I feel soo happy since its going to last me long and the community of AMD was very supportive with settings and how to apply sweet OC.

For what its worth, the GTX 1660 line of cards are about the only ones that while not having RT support, can do mesh shaders. That means you can run Alan Wake 2 on them and at low settings get about a Xbox Series S experience still. That means you can basically run the game faster than a GTX 1070/1080 or RX 590/Vega/RX 5600/5700 since they lack mesh shader support. Most of the problematic PC ports released in 2023 have been patched up well now too, so you can run them decently on the GTX 1660.
