We were just exposed to covid, so we had to cancel all our extended family holiday plans and stay home for the next 14 days. And I'm pregnant and nauseous and depressed, so I was feeling pretty bad for myself. But then I saw this video, and girl... you win. And you still managed to be positive about your situation, so I guess I have plenty to be grateful for too. Thanks for being you. Merry Christmas, and feel better soon.

You'll be fine. You are in hospital and they will take care of you. My husband while on treatment for throat cancer tested positive as well. High fever for 10 days, short of breath, antibiotics in veins, one month in hospital. But he is doing great now. Thanks God. You will be grand. You will see. God bless you.
Hope this is ok to ask but what were your husband’s symptoms? My ex has something going on but will not go to the doctor. I fear he has throat cancer and no insurance.
@@alaina-bug4645 my husband lost his voice (became hoarseness) suddenly from one day to another. It did not go away after 3 weeks so we went to our GP. Antibiotics for one week with no improvement. Directly to ENT specialist. And it all began.
Thanks, he has lost his ability to talk, has to text when he visits the kids. Chokes on food often and even makes weird sound when he’s drinking water. He has no insurance so refuses to be seen anywhere. We’re not together anymore but we’re for over 20 years so I still care about him and worried that he has cancer.

hi, i know this feels like rock bottom and every single thing has gone to shit, but as dumb as it sounds i promise you there is so much better to come. better days are ahead. take it one day at a time, one battle at a time. i know it sounds like the end of the world but just keep in mind how proud you’ll be of your future self once this is all over, and of the example you’ve set. it’s tough but i promise you’ll come out of all of this ten times stronger. you got this!

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease 34 years ago. I was 30 with 2 little boys to raise. Scared to death. But here I am well and strong. Please keep your spirits up. Hodgkin’s is one of the most curable kinds of cancer. It is a tough go......but keep the faith! The Covid-19, wow that is an unfortunate addition. I will keep you in my prayers! Stay strong!

Yep...I was having surgery early this week and they found I had COVID during the preliminary pre-op tests. I had and still have zero symptoms. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days under COVID rules after the surgery. You are all alone in your room besides your nurse and Dr who have to suit up everytime they come in. You are locked in a room with only a TV and a very small area to walk around. 24/7 in a locked room with no human interaction is brutal and rough on the mental health. My heart goes out to you...I know you are going through a lot and now this.

Right because where I’m at, if you test positive, you don’t get special treatment by being in the hospital with nurses nearby. They just send you home and tell you to stay there for 2 weeks 🤣

My chemo treatments are every 3 weeks. Back in June a had mild Covid and didn't require hospital stay. I just got over pnemonia and had fluid removed from my heart. We were just exposed to covid, so we had to cancel all our extended family holiday plans and stay home for the next 14 days. And I'm pregnant and nauseous and depressed, so I was feeling pretty bad for myself. But then I saw this video, and girl... you win. You'll be fine. You are in hospital and they will take care of you. My husband while on treatment for throat cancer tested positive as well. High fever for 10 days, short of breath, antibiotics in veins, one month in hospital. But he is doing great now. Thanks God. You will be grand. You will see. God bless you.

@@alaina-bug4645 my husband lost his voice (became hoarseness) suddenly from one day to another. It did not go away after 3 weeks so we went to our GP. Antibiotics for one week with no improvement. Directly to ENT specialist. And it all began.
Thanks, he has lost his ability to talk, has to text when he visits the kids. Chokes on food often and even makes weird sound when he’s drinking water. He has no insurance so refuses to be seen anywhere. We’re not together anymore but we’re for over 20 years so I still care about him and worried that he has cancer.

Yep...I was having surgery early this week and they found I had COVID during the preliminary pre-op tests. I had and still have zero symptoms. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days under COVID rules after the surgery. You are all alone in your room besides your nurse and Dr who have to suit up everytime they come in. You are locked in a room with only a TV and a very small area to walk around. 24/7 in a locked room with no human interaction is brutal and rough on the mental health. My heart goes out to you...I know you are going through a lot and now this.

I was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer early Nov 2020 and I do my best to try to stay away from getting any sickness so it’s really scary to be to get the rona. I can't imagine how you feel. I was diagnosed with lung cancer 4 yrs ago. My chemo treatments are every 3 weeks. Back in June a had mild Covid and didn't require hospital stay.
