I started watching your videos eight months ago, when my mom who had stage 4 cancer was running out of treatment options. Sadly my mom couldn’t make it and passed away 2 months ago and I lost touch with your journey because all of this was so scary to bear. I was curious why they haven’t put a central line in since u r a hard stick. They can draw blood from it and use it for meds. Mine has 2 lumins because TPN is hard on lines. I’m very happy for u and wish u the best.
I had a central line with 3 lumins, and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, after sometime, I ended up with a systemic staph infection and had to have the line removed.
From one expat resident of the Netherlands to another (i hear a N. American accent, if i'm not mistaken.); hang in there. Seems you have reason to be optomistic. Enjoy!
