I just got out of a month stay from a port infection literally the worst especially when you have no immune system. Thanks for sharing your story. It calms me to see other peoples stories and see people that share similar experiences with you. ❤️ keep fighting the fight!
As a retired nurse your first video popped up on your Christmas update. Now I am binge watching your posts. What I want to say is always follow your gut instincts & force someone else to check.. I love your attitude & wit. Much love & many prayers your way. You can do this.
I’m sad you’re always alone on these videos. Maybe it’s a cultural difference but if you were my daughter/sister/cousin I would go with you to every appointment. I wish you health! I can’t wait to see the vlog of you saying you’re in remission.
Oh I'm so sorry hun my daughter has had Picc Lines and they always got infected and caused blood infections so we requested a Port Catheter less chance of infection and less chance of braking any I hope the best for you sending hugs stay strong
Dear Romee, I'm sending you love and light to give you strength and hope. Don't suppress your emotions if things are not fine, life sometimes sucks and it sucker punches you- cry, rage, do whatever you feel like doing to let it out and when those emotions pass, you will be fine. A friend of mine had the same type of cancer as you but a more advanced stage and she's now fine. Apparently Hodgkin's lymphoma has about a 65% cure rate. I am praying for your speedy recovery. Good health to you!
Girl you got this! Love your positivity enough on those crappy days when nothing seems to be going right. You are brave. You are stronger than you think! I am praying everyday for a complete healing. Keep your chin up. Lots of love from Michigan..

I just said a prayer for you! I love you so much! I admire your strength! See I am a single mom of 3 special needs babies my oldest is 4 years old and my twins are 2 years old. And you have helped me to stay strong and never complain. Thank you for your example in my life. Again I’m praying for you! I Love You All The Way From Kansas!
I hope you have all the support and love you need to get through this journey. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It touches me to see you trying to find words and expression for something that must be so hard to grasp. Love from Berlin ❤️
Thank you for taking time to be so raw and vulnerable for us. Watching your videos has awoken something in me I can’t quite explain. I wasn’t there for a lot of my sister’s treatment and chemo because I was much younger and we lived in two different countries so understanding how it is and what she must have been feeling, from watching you, I’m able to find new ways to heal, cope, and grieve. Thank you so much for that. You’re so beautiful and you radiate positivity and there’s this glow to you, I think you’re so amazing and you’re doing so much. Your journey is touching so many around the world and helping I ways you can even imagine, so thank you for sharing with us. Keep staying kicking ass, okay? And if you have to cry or scream or laugh at windows breaking, that’s more than okay. It’s freeing. Again, thank you infinitely for sharing your journey.
Do they do port-a-caths at your hospital? I work as a nurse in the Pediatric hematology/oncology unit in NM. We rarely keep PICC lines in patients long term. They all get ports, easier access and less chance of infection then a PICC long term. It is great to get this perspective. Keep up the videos and one day at a time.
I was wondering the same thing. I have a power port and I have the same cancer. It’s so much easier you don’t feel a thing. Just watching it’s amazing seeing the different experience. I hope she stays strong
I was treated for Hodgkins last year, I was offered both options but the PICC line was less scaring long term which was important for me. It required constant maintenance but I have no scar. Obviously every treating dr is different. I hope you have a great day :)
In the past I worked in Oncology ...and found that a Port was a a better long term option, they can stay in for yerrs! .....worth checking with you medical staff IF one would be suitable for you .( not all patients can have one though )
I applaud you for having such a bright and happy spirit through all of this! You probably have your days and moments of weakness but I think its awesome.that you come on here and are so happy and optimistic, I've heard from alot of cancer patients that attitude really does make a difference and your mindset. Sometimes people findout they have a disease and they go into a downward spiral mentally and then physically. But you are just a gem! I pray for your recovery and remission and I hope all is well, stay safe and enjoy the Holidays! Love seeing your videos, always a pleasure for sure.
My husband underwent 41 doses of proton radiation for 9 1/2 weeks , his cancer is inoperable and incurable it's brain cancer called Chordoma he was told he had 7 months that was 3 yrs ago and he's still fighting 🙏 stay strong you got this !
Hey Romee, you're a strong young woman to have such a positive attitude. Your smile and laugh through all of this is nothing short of inspiring. It's that attitude and the support of everyone around you, myself included, that will push you through this.
I love to see your humor shining through. Rather than being a Debbie Downer your disposition is Amazing. Positivity is key when your going through something such as cancer. I initially had a external port & it got infected went from feeling fine to having an ambulance rushing me to hospital & admitted to ICU. Got a PICC as replacement for 11 mos got infected, & now I have an internal Power Port (for about 18 mos) no issues with it at all. I would recommend any who needs a PICC/Port ask for power port. I wish I would have known about it from day 1. Way less chance of infection & no need to cover it for showers. You can go swimming & other things you couldn't normally do with a PICC.
You are an incredibly strong young woman, despite these obstacles you are facing, you still try to put a smile on your face and be cheerful.. I will be praying for you every day sweetheart, I really do believe that you are going to be alright! Remain strong and keep your head held high! 🙏🏼♥️
I remember getting my picc line when I was 10 years old. Sometimes it would hurt 😢that was not fun because the skin in that area was so sensitive. Thanks for sharing your journey. I’m getting my first ultrasound for my left breast because I’ve been having pain for a month. So we shall see how that goes 🤷🏾♀️

Thank you for being so vulnerable and letting us in on your journey. Sending you positive vibes.
I just got out of a month stay from a port infection literally the worst especially when you have no immune system. Thanks for sharing your story. It calms me to see other peoples stories and see people that share similar experiences with you. ❤️ keep fighting the fight!
I hope you're gonna get through this. Keep that smile, you're like a sunshine. All the love from France ❤️
I can’t wait to see the vlog of you saying you’re in remission.
she might not be allowed to bring anyone due to the virus 👻
@@hannahs.7760 you’re absolutely right! Another cruelty of COVID 😞
@@hannahs.7760 a family member of mine also has cancer and she can always bring people (also in the Netherlands)
I think she has said she does not want anyone especilly her parents there. It is her illnees, her choice.
I had ovarian cancer in 2018 and I wish you the best from Ireland. I admire your strength. Your English is very good. ESTA. Blessings !
I'm so glad I found your channel! Stay strong you got this!
Girl you got this! Love your positivity enough on those crappy days when nothing seems to be going right. You are brave. You are stronger than you think! I am praying everyday for a complete healing. Keep your chin up. Lots of love from Michigan..
It's good to keep your sense of humour. You're doing great! Stay strong.
Romee, you’ve got this, girl! Praying for you! If you need to cry, yell, vent...do it! You don’t have to hold it in. Celebrate the good days and let it out on the bad ones. We are all here for you!! ❤️🙏
Hey you,
I hope you are feeling better now. I can only imagine how mentally and physically exhausting this must be.
I know that I'm just a stranger but you are amazing, stay strong!
Following your journey. You are so genuine and brave. Praying for your sweet soul and for healing.
Many ppl in Poland are thinking about u and hoping you will feel so much better in couple days!🌞 🇵🇱 including me of course!✨ hope you have a greaaat week! ✨🙌🏻
You are such a positive person love you Romee
As I have commented before - I have a friend who had this in her twenties and she is now 70 years old. You will be fine.
Romee, you should not just feel you have friends supporting you all over the world you should KNOW YOU HAVE FRIENDS SUPPORTING YOU ALL OVER THE WORLD. You are beautiful and handling all this stress with so much grace. Sending you much love from the US!!
My heart goes out to you! 💛💛 I really hope your cancer journey goes a lot better then it did this day. I truly wish all this treatment works, and is worth it. Stay strong 💪🏻
I thought the same! I have a port and I'm grateful for it.
How is your husband now?
Hey Romee, you're a strong young woman to have such a positive attitude. Your smile and laugh through all of this is nothing short of inspiring. It's that attitude and the support of everyone around you, myself included, that will push you through this.
A Bulgarian friend sending love and hugs your way ❤️ you make vlogging look so easy!
Stay strong. Your so brave. Sending love all the way from New Zealand
I wish you all the best ❤❤🤗

You. Are a warrior. I've been thru too many problems that have landed me in the hospital so I do know how you feel. Steve from Indiana, with you in spirit!
I was reading through all these comments before adding my own when I got sidetracked by the note from Bitty Penny. I looked up her channel and saw her beautiful tribute to you and thanked her for including the Window to the World in the artwork. It was intended to let you know you still have a world of adventures ahead of you, but I hope it will also remind you that you have people cheering you on worldwide. Do not apologize for not replying to us individually! You are doing so through your inspiring vlogs. I love your spirit, Romee. Love, prayers, and virtual hugs from a Grandma in Olympia, Washington state, USA. 👩🦳🙏❤🙏🇺🇲

Never left a comment before. Your story really touched me. You are a powerful being! Sending you love ❤️
Sweet, sweet Romee. Oh that window fiasco... I totally get it days just go like that. I am so glad you were able to get the third treatment although it look liked it was hard. I truly hope you are feeling better now. I made you a video on my channel with a painting. I hope you will get to check it out. I also hope I didn’t say anything stupid. Lol. I imagine that is a common fear when you are trying to speak to situation you can’t possibly fully understand. Sending lots of love.
Omg I just watched your video 😭❤️ thank you so much for that!!! I’ll connect with you soon on IG! You had me in tears. Lots of love xx
@@RomeeDussenbroek Dear Romee please watch this youtube video "Lee's Summit man used food as medicine to fight Stage 4 cancer" and contact Eric Ewing on instagram: stage4ninjawarrior or facebook: eric.ewing.10 I hope he can support you. Maybe you should stop chemo and try it first with that strict healthy nutrition diet. Im afraid of the chemo causing more damage to you. Why not try first with healthy diet. Please contact Eric. He could cure his lung cancer.
@@spirittouchrecords2785 Diet does not cure cancer. Chemo, radiation and surgery are the best options. I was diagnosed with borderline Stage 4 breast cancer in 2009 and had all those. I've been cancer free since 2010.
@@sallyphillips9175 both seem to work, but natural way of boosting immune system is a lot healthier and I would prefer first. thats for sure.
@@spirittouchrecords2785 i know your intentions are good. But please be cautious when telling people who have cancer about “alternative treatments” it causes confusion which the last thing they need :(
You are so sweet and you are doing and incredible job keeping a positive attitude. My son had cancer surgery a year ago and I did too just 5 months ago. We have to just deal with what we are given. Cry when you need to, scream when you need to, you are entitled but always come back to gratitude that we have drs to treat and help us. Sending you positive thoughts! ❤❤
My heart with you. You'll get through it. From Russia with love😘
I’m sending much love and healing vibes from Canada. Thinking of you daily ❤️

Romee, I understand you very well. You went through a rough round of chemotherapy and having cancer is very stressful and upsetting. You will pull through this because you are still very young and you are strong.

Im praying for you
Poor sweet Romee, I’m so sorry you had a rough few days. I promise you, you are not alone on that. I’m sending you very special feelgood vibes from Chicago, IL right now. I don’t have cancer, but I do have a chronic illness and I know it’s so hard to keep it together emotionally when you’re sick and going through so much. I’m always here if you need to talk or commiserate 😁 You’re so cheerful and strong... I have no doubt that you will get through this! You’ve got friends you don’t even know you have! Hang in there!
Everyone I know who's had chemo says that the third one is the worst. Hopefully it'll get easier.
Dear Romee, Eric Ewing says you can contact him (see instagram stage4ninjawarrior)
Please have a talk with him about chemotherapy and the gerson therapy etc. Why not try to support the body first?
Thinking of you. Very touched and inspired by your strength and bravery. Praying for a quick recovery and for this to be a faraway memory for you soon. 🙏❤️ from Sweden
wow that looks absolutely hard AF. Wasnt sure you were laughing or crying on more than one occasion - and i know what that feels like.. Just wanted to hug you through the screen :O With

Got the video recommended about the pet scan and claim. Wanted to watch that but then I looked further at your yt. Now I’m watching all the vlogs and girl, you are amazing. Fell in love with you. It kills me that such young people get cancer :( I myself am chronically I’ll.
