I traveled to the Philippines and met my Filipina girlfriend in 2019. Spent 3 weeks in February and March, getting to know her better and got engaged. Then I went back again in June and spent 75 days with her over a period of 5 1/2 months. We filed all of the Fiancee' paperwork and were approved in 2019. I had flight reservations to go back in April, 2020 to help her schedule her interview and physical exam, but Covid brought everything to a halt. This is all we have left to do. I can't go back there and with the U.S. Embassy not processing K1 fiancee' Visas, we don't really know what to do. So frustrating!

I live in a State that allows me to marry by notary only, as long as the certification was filed within 30 days of the last signature. Due to covid-19 we have been unable to meet in person, since we started communicating since Jan. 2020. I have my proof of inquiries that i planned on traveling to his country, to meet the proof requirements. However his country has been in Level 3, now Level 4 for so long that it's unsafe to travel there. What are my options of getting my spouse here?
Since you haven't met in person yet. Your only option right now is to meet her in another country that allows tourist. Meet halfway is the best option as of now.

based on what I know, it should be AFTER marriage. So if you get married online after those 5 visits, you might still need to meet again when the circumstances allow AFTER your online marriage. If there's no chance to meet yet, better check if K-1 Fiancee visa is better for your situation.
Can it be consummated before the married or does it have to be after? in the phillipians you have to take a class which is once a week only then you have to file for the marriage license and they put an add in the paper for 10 business days then !! you wait 2-3 months to get the license.....

all sexual relationship prior the marriage do not count. you have to have a proof that you are together and had sexual relationship after the marriage. You do not need to show pictures of having s** of course , but proof like an itinerary, or hotel or flight as a proof that you and your partner are together after the marriage suffice... not a legal advise though,
how about this situation. I am located in Philippines and my partner is in US. We haven't met in person yet but we will meet soon in Maldives since we will already be 1 year in relationship soon. You will have to show proof that you’re still together in Maldives after the online marriage and consummating the marriage.

Hi, thank you for your informative video. And I have a question I hope you can help. My boyfriend and I have been together for 15 years before I immigrated to the US. We have medical documents that would show that we've been trying to get pregnant for years but unsuccessful. Would that proof be enough that we've consummated our marriage so I can file for a CR1 visa? We're also planning to do the Online marriage due to the pandemic.
I believe USCIS won't ask further proof in regards with your relationship prior to your online wedding. What does count is your genuine marriage relationship after the wedding. It's how they will determine as to wether the consummation requirement has been met
People are doing this online wedding not so much to apply for the CR-1, but to get into places where only a spouse can get into due to pandemic. Then, they have met, and they can apply for CR-1 (and if they need to have a second ceremony there, they can). This is country dependent, of course, but the real point is to use this so that you have a legal United States marriage certificate, and thus the country you are going to gives you a visa since most others are restricted.

If you get state marriage certificate but you never meet your partner for some reason can't visit you will they accept your visa

You can't file for a fiance visa if you are married and you are legally now.

I filed the cr1 visa with the help of rapid visa and they said because it was a proxy marriage that they need extra documentation and stuff that they couldn’t help provide me. Is this true? I traveled to the Philippines and provided proof that we were together after marriage. Wouldn’t this be all?

You don't need to get married again in the Philippines. After your online wedding, where you both are together online with witnesses, you need to file a report of marriage with the San Francisco Philippine embassy. They send the paperwork to the PSA. Then the PSA will send the document to you showing your marriage is legally recognized in the Philippines. You need that because when you and your spouse fly back to the Philippines at any point in the future together they may ask you for your ROM when arriving at the airport. That's the same process no matter what other country you get married in whether online or not. Getting married in Utah online is a legal marriage everywhere in the world. Only the Philippines requires an ROM so they can enter it in their data base. It's because their federal govt in essence controls all aspects of marriage and divorce is illegal. In the US. It's done at the state and county level.
Honestly, until now, I have not found my soul mate because there are many fake accounts, and this is what makes me feel that the real world is the best in my view.

Yes, but you have to show proof that AFTER the marriage you have met and consummated the marriage (consummation does not mean you have to show sexual act, lol. Just receipts and photos that you are in the same place/hotel).

It absolutely is and I'm getting married via zoom through Utah in one week. My husband and I are in different countries I am in the US. immigration does see it as a valid marriage as long as you actually spend time together at some point after the marriage ceremony.

I've done a lot of research about this and my fiance and I are getting married online next Friday I am in the US and he is in another country. USCIS absolutely recognizes online virtual weddings as valid marriages so long as the marriage is consummated. They do not want to see pictures of you having sex, the requirement is that you have an in-person meeting after the ceremony. they simply want proof that the two of you spend time together in person after your marriage.

Exactly Donald...request a validity of marriage certificate. And apostille. The validity of marriage certificate explains the law of Utah. You're 100% correct. It's not a proxy marriage. It's a legal marriage in all fifty states.
I don't know about the Fiancé visa. I seem to know a bit more than you, even about the law. The law based on the US immigration perspective does allow for proxy/online. marriages. It does require the marriage to be consummated. So, do not file the Form 130 until that happens. The consummation part can take place any time after the proxy marriage. Research it more. I have seen it. It's easy to research it. There are a few Sates that recognize proxy marriages. I don't know how that part would come into the equation. I tend to think the US immigration and States are mutually exclusive. From that perspective, the couples may have to remarry in their States. One positive aspect of this proxy as related to the Philippines is that it would allow the foreigner to travel to the Philippines as a spouse of the Filipino citizen now that the pandemic constraints are in place. where. Here's an advice for you: look outside of the box! Don't just try to reinforce your reasoning based on what you know. Do your homework! :)

Proxy marriages are mainly used if one party is in the military and can't attend the virtual ceremony. Marriages in Utah via zoom aren't proxy and are 100% legal marriages.
