i am a us resident from granted asylum green card . am i eligible for K1 fiance visa
1) Not eligible- both parties must be legally single
2) Not meeting proof- relationship legitimate

May i ask our deadline was 10 January, 2021. We sent our form 129f by the fast service USPS on the 6,January, 2022, they guaranteed it will arrive on 7, January, 2022. But unlucky it arrived on the 12,January, 2022, because of covid. Is there any chance the USCIS will aprove? Thank you for spending time to read my mesage.
My fiance's k1 visa interview got denied and they asked for more information and resubmit more evidence. I think they called this the green paper more evidence to see if it's bonifide. I had a question if this gets denied can I Go to Vietnam and marry her there and then apply for a spousal visa. Someone said I had to wait two years for this. I want to ask a question .what about someone who has married before to somebody in the US and the person filled out for a spouse visa and the person got refused. Later the married didn't work again and they got divorced.

Due to COVID, has there been a change in the 'having met 2 year requirement' for the K1-Visa due to flight issues, lockdowns, etc? Example would be Australia's complete lockdown and no one allowed in or out due to their strict rules.

hello, my k1 visa application arrived 2 weeks before the 2 year date of me leaving my fiances home country, the last day I saw her. I'm worried this is too close to the deadline. Hi and thank you for the informational video. I have a question on passport documentation because I am a little confused after viewing several videos.
Some videos state that photocopies should be made of your passport including the front and back cover of the passport and blank pages as well. Other videos state only the bio page and page or pages that are stamped when entering my fiancee's country and when she visited me here in the US. Which one is correct?

Hello I have a question, my Fiancé has restraining order 5 years ago filed by his ex girlfriend because she doesn’t let him to see or to be with his son, but my fiance never get arrested or charged we look his record it is clean No records found. Due to Covid travel restrictions, it was about three days past two years when I sent the application in. Everything else in our packet and case is perfectly in order. Will the application be denied because of a couple of days? If that happens can it be remedied? The two year meeting matter was totally due to Covid preventing me to travel to spend time with her again.

I just checked the USCIS processing time web site for Vermont and it says:
Fiancè visa K-1 are 80% processed in 7 months
Spousal visa K-3 are 80% processed in 14 months
That seems to be a huge improvement from just a few months ago.

pls enlighten us. my fiance and i are both born filipino and we became a couple before he migrated in 2016. he visited me last May2019 and he became a US citizen last dec 2021. and that's the time he filed for my petition. are we in trouble for not meeting 2yrs prior filing? if yes, when can he file again? thank you.

We received our 797 form stating our i129f was approved and the nvc sent the pkg to the consulate in bogata this was 3 months ago and the 797 form expires in june which would be 20 months , have had any experience with bogata consulate?

I just submitted my K1 visa the other day and waiting for it to arrive to their offices. I’m afraid I might be denied due to my beneficiary’s passport photo being pixelated due to it being photographed copied from the copy machine. I didn’t realize I could have emailed this to the merchant instead to have a better quality photo ugh. Is this automatic denial or just delay and resubmit? Thank u

No , basically you need to file the petition within two years of meeting each other ,e.g . You dating for 6months , so within those 6 months of meeting each other u end up being eligible . But lets say You dating 6 months and never saw each other for 2 years or sum like that , you end up hurting your petition . Idk if that helped ..

Yes. It happened with me the same. My Fiance is an American by birth. We have been knowing each other past 4 yrs. We got engaged in 2019. We met twice. Once in 2018 and next 2019. By the time he wanted to apply for the K1 the 2 yrs meeting got lapsed cuz of his strict job profile. He met me again in 2021 in November. He met my parents too. So now we have hired an attorney for the K1. Let's see what happens. I have lot of patience to wait.. Wish you good luck.

I have already planned and prepared to meet my finance from Myanmar and to get engaged in 2020. However, the plan was canceled due to the Covid restriction and military coup that is happening in Myanmar now; therefore we cannot meet in person and engaged it. however, We both got engaged online through video calling and got accepted to get married. Alongside that, both my fiance and my parent were there when I engaged my fiance to marry me and it did go very well. We mostly spending our time on calling, video calling. Due to what is happening in Myanmar now, I don't feel safe for her living there because the military has been killing so many innocent people and I do not feel safe for her and I really want to bring her to the U.S as soon as possible.
my question is, can I still call my fiance in the U.S without meeting her in person? Plus, Since I am a college student in the U.S; I do not have an income salary, however, my parent had agreed to take responsibility for our marriage or for co-sponsor. Photo & video of you guys going together on date, kissing picture, text conversation, fb message screen shot. You must prove to the immigration officer that your Love for one another is legit. All immigration officer are train to believe that all marriage are fraud so its your job to convence them that your marriage/love is legit. Me and my wife have several hundred picture and text message we submit along with all 4 copy of my VISA STAMP proof on my passport that i visited her 4 time within 3 years and all the moneygram i send her over the 3 years which total 22,000$ i financially supported her for all these years we knew each other and we marriage legally in her country with that marriage certificate i had it translate to english too. I submitted all these sk my case was approved easily for the CR1. The immigration officer didn't question my wife too much during the embassy interview.
