Hi Eric, all Serial 1 eBikes feature a Gates carbon fiber belt drive. Serial 1 eBikes were designed and engineered within Harley-Davidson including our proprietary custom battery.
They stated “Premium eBikes” but you’re screwed when parts are broken. There is no way you can find the replacement parts such as handlebar, fork, fenders, and battery on this bike. There are number of bike owners have been camped out at the local bike shop for months, all in vain. Customer service is TERRIBLE. There is NO way you can get a hold of them. I submitted an issue on their website 3 weeks ago but no response. Phone calls? Forget it. They encourage leaving voicemails, but it’s like shouting into the void.
