The insta-shield is my go to ability, but with the drop dash now? Top tier. I can't have the insta-shield without the drop dash and vice-versa, they compliment each other very well for me and i love them to death
When i saw this for the first time, I thought I saw a video with thousands of views, and I was surprised when I saw that there were 200 views. Btw call me weird all you want, but I don’t like mania as much as all games in the origins collection :P
It’s not weird the Saint of Time. Doesn’t like Mania as much either. I ended up really loving the game for its level design and consistency. I made a review about it but it’s not as good as this one. Overall though the classic games are great!
Imo Sonic 3K and Mania are both S tier games, I find myself returning to both of those games at least once a year and obviously Sandopolis is the weakest zone in Sonic 3K but I still really enjoy it, it doesn’t really take away from the whole experience. Sky sanctuary is more of a Boss rush zone and flying battery, mushroom hill and lava reef are fantastic zones. Sonic 3 might be slightly better than Knuckles but the gap isn’t that far. Also do yourself a favor and play Sonic 3AIR, or mod Origins because those Jun Senue Rearranged songs don’t hit the same
I know about 3 air and modding, but when reviewing the game I wanted to focus on what the casual audience could get. Most people won't go out of their way to do that so I wanted to look at just the base origins. Thanks for watching!
But that makes no sense. knuckles’s play through takes place after the events of Sonic 3…. We also literally see Sonic saving Knuckles after the final fight where Sonic is on his plane and Knuckles gives him the thumbs up as he takes the Master Emerald back.

Mecha Sonic being Knuckles final boss is perfect. Because he's the reason Knuckles believes Sonic is the villain.
