- We visit the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the summer. We stay at Kalahari Tented Camp, we camp at Nossob and then drive the 4x4 trail to Bitterpan for one night. The park was dry and the days hot. We have incredible sightings of lions, snakes, birds and cheetah. Our visit was mid December.

We were supposed to take the kids to visit their Oupa and camp in Botswana in Sept 2020; that got canned until Sept 2021, and in the end he had to go without us 😔 Your videos keep us remembering what we have to look forward to once we're finally allowed to leave the country!!

Thanks guys, excellent research for our June ‘23 trip. A question if I may: I am aware of the permit only roads but are they pre-bookable or only on the day you intend to use it? Also, where does one get them? We will be in Mata Mata and TR camp sites. Dankie julle twee. 😊

Wonderful to see the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park again. We were there in February 2020 and fell in love. We were making plans to return but the pandemic struck. Love your work! Just a question, is Jackie O.K? She seems so distant and unhappy....

Loved the video, photography and narration, I have a small suggestion to make, when you drive and narrate please have the camera facing outward, such as driver's POV. When it's pointed at the occupants of the car, the content is pretty static and we only get to see you guys watching something and wonder what that is.

Juba love your trips 👏🏻 please please ask sound effects people to “TONE MUSIC DOWN” … someone always has to run and turn music RIGHT DOWN. .. etc …. Why would the music be turned soooo loud ALSO when you are speaking … PLEASE and THANK YOU 🙏🏻. Maybe you can watch one of your trips yourself and hear how disturbing it is..
Hi Tina, there are no sound effects people. I do everything myself, it is very hard work and do not get paid to make these videos. I am also learning as I go along. With this episode I spent hours fixing the sound levels. For TH-cam I try sound level of -12db max, which is standard. I know some of my older videos had way higher levels, but this video I checked it and watched it many times before uploading. Will you please let me know where in the video the sound was too loud, that I can check it again. Also please let me know on what TV you are watching it? Thanks

Hi Dinka, I am Da woman in the video and can assure you I was not bored. Sipping Gin & Tonic sounds nice, but I’d much rather do it in the Kalahari desert than some fancy hotel in another desert. 👍
