I wired a shutoff switch to turn the screen to turn it off for updating my printer. Once the update is complete you just turn the switch and it will reboot the printer. To keep from turning the screen off accidentally, I created a clip that keeps the switch from pressing down if touched. If you would like to have the images please let me know so that can be arranged. By doing that you will not have to worry about whether you have enough space to move your printer to facilitate an update.

That's a great idea! I'd love the images. I have a warped bed (the centre is low but the corners are perfectly leveled). I'll be installing firmware that supports manual mesh bed levelling

nice job. Where is the previous video of the file building for the upgrade?

You have the -15 degree error when you finish the update, and that is scary...is there a possibility of ending with that Mintemp -15º error when updating?

Nice work. Have you thought about changing the TFT UI? I spent a good week changing my UI. Good to see more Sidewinder content on here for sure.

I’ve used a couple different TFT ui and haven’t had a problem with any until I tried to upgrade to an MKS SGEN 32bit mainboard. I cannot get it to work with the stock TFT. I have a new screen coming that I’m going to upgrade to. I’ll do videos on both the mainboard and TFT upgrades

How do you load new soft wear on a new board?

Is this on an X1? Did you disconnect the screen cable?

How much of the printer did you need to take apart, to get the bottom off? Did you need to take off the whole top frame of the printer in order to turn it upsidedown, or did you just set it up on something?

I had it on a towel under the build plate and hung the frame over the edge of the table. I've seen others use the uprights like a tripod. But I like to have it level.

wildly under appreciated video... I moded my hot end, all metal etc etc, should be able get to at least 350 safely now... i am trying to figure out how to get the internal limit for temp off so i can up it now. And yes I got a fire proof enclosure and am taking precautions if it catches, which shouldn't but damn'ed if i am gonna burn a house down.

What are you printing that you need that kind of temp?

there is much better way to remove hot glue from motherboard then with heat. Just put denatured alcohol once or twice, wait 10 seconds and remove hot glue with easy. No risk for other components becouse we always use alcohol for cleaning everything
