    My experience with Moza is when it works it is fine, but when something breaks the proof is how they do the RMA process. In my case, I won't ever buy anything from Moza again because the RMA process failed miserably, they did not repair my broken brake pedal electronics, they haven't checked what was wrong (cant have) they just had it travel from the NL via Rseat Germany( the Intermediary of Hardware experts (the retailer that sold me the R5 set ) and from there to Moza China and back the same route, still broken they (who did that idk?) only replaced the cable. I had no brake pedal for more than 2 months, so be aware that Moza/ Hardware Experts(NL) and Rseat(Germany and France) do not have trustable RMA services. Just a fair warning....... I had to almost got sue them to finally get a new working brake pedal after a lot of hassle with the retailer (Hardware experts NL)who blamed their intermediary (Rseat Europe) who blamed Moza who blamed Rseat back, who (Rseat) then blamed DHL for not delivering Hardware Experts the replacement pedal, no kidding not making things up, just my honest bad experience with a broken brake pedal that proved me the RMA service did not work as it should have.

      And btw check your Bolds and Nuts quite regularly because Moza doesn't use a good method of making sure those won't untighten themselves. Because of their cheap hardware and bad engineering, or manufacturing control systems, just make sure to use a drop of lock tight to make sure your bold and nuts won't unscrew themselves. Or buy locknuts and fitting (long enough) bolds at your local hardware store, yep Moza's engineering and product control department should be ashamed and better themselves and their products, but will they?!
      I can't trust Moza that is for sure, and that is a big disappointment for me.

    You have to change the Elastomer setup ( Watch Sim Racing Corners video on these ) - After changing it - It was great.
    Try 6-yellow + 4-red Elastomers and see what you think.

    I think the fact that the brake graph is narrower is because you have set the max before the full extent of available travel. 23:28

      The guy didn't even take the time to set it up properly. Disappointing

      I had already set the max at that point. the graph doesn't react to calibration. it comes 'short' as shown by default.

    Loved the review and the formatting.
    Just a point on your break pedal feels. Have you tried using the performance break kit? It comes with a collection of springs and much tougher polymers and I wonder if it could remedy the lack of responsiveness your feeling. While I believe your views are great for how the pedals come out of the box, it would be incredibly helpful if you could share wether the performance kit, and its various combinations, help or allow the pedals to feel differnetly for different cars as advertised.
    (For example they give road car presets, GT3 presents and presets that are super stiff for F1 cars)
    Feedback on these would be greatly appreciated! Look forwards to more content.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa

      I have the performance kit, yes. That will be covered in detail in my long term review. As you say, this video is just for the out of the box, first impressions.

  • @BPKarlToffel
    @BPKarlToffel 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    There is a new assessory kit for this pedal set with more dampers and also springs for the break. I guess this is a must have for this set as it gives you a huge amount of options to customize the brake feel to everyon's liking. I personally prefer a longer brake pedal and a more linear incresing pressure feeling for the break, so I prefer springs instead of dampers.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa
      @LaurenceDusoswa  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Good elastomers with cups give a nice linear feel with even better characteristics than springs in my view, but springs can be good too.
      I have the performance kit and am frantically trying to find good settings for these pedals. I don’t want my first impressions of this product to be true long term

    It's a well-intentioned review, but with a total lack of knowledge about the Moza Pit House software.
    Changing the max setting of the brake pedal and then acting surprised this is reflected in the pressure graph is a cringe moment.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa
      @LaurenceDusoswa  2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      This is a well-intentioned comment. But with respect, this is not a review. As is clearly stated several times in the video.
      Also, I have reviewed (actual reviews) 15+ moza devices. Feel free to check my videos.
      And finally. On the max setting. I set it to the max point where the soft brake would go and where I could comfortably push to. That’s just standard calibration. The graph needed to be dragged, which was my surprise. It makes no sense for the graph to max out at 60%.
      Thanks for sharing this cringe moment with me.
      I suggest you pay a little more attention and don’t be so quick to make assumptions.

    I started with Moza stuff and I appreciate all they are doing to push better product out at reasonable pricing, pushing other companies to be competitive, like Simagic is currently. I think they have done a lot for the sim racing community. I wonder if they've been pigeonholed into that lower quality bracket by their initial offerings... I am hopeful these pedals are the start of a move in the higher end bracket for Moza.
    However, for me I am curious if you are still using the Simtrecs Pro Pedal GT MkII's..... 🤔🙂 Probably getting those based on your review a little while ago. Cheers!

    This is the 1st video I have seen of the new stuff. Its too bad they didn't make the booster work with the original CRP's but these are nothing like the original CRP's wow!!!! Interesting changes. I really like what you said about heal toe pretest. We need to get a you the booster fast! I think that narrow graph on the break actually was out of the box and they didn't want that much travel that you are saying isn't good for out of the box. So maybe, this is my guess here but that narrow graph is out of the box. Moza, if that is so, you might want to make a little note of that in Pit House.
    Laurence, I really like your review style. I think this is the 2nd video I have seen of yours and I am for sure coming back next time, keep up the good work. I will see if I can make it to your live stream tomorrow.
    Anyways looks good, I hope those booster addon is good enough for me to not have to upgrade to a Simucube Active Pedal.
    I really like the old throttle and how you can hit it with the bottom of your heal, this one you make contact midfoot. But those are my daily driver pedals.

      @LaurenceDusoswa  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would love to review the booster force feedback pedal. Hopefully I get the chance. For now, the goal is to make these pedals feel good with the CRP2 performance kit. It wouldn't be the first time where a product gives a negative first impression but can be tweaked to feel really nice.

    Was waiting for this review. SO glad to hear I am not the only one having strain on my knees from the pedals. I have been using the original CRP's but my knee is not enjoying it after a long session. Finding the brake pedal being the problem for me, think its to far to the right.

    The problem is only with Moza pedals. I love my R21 base and FSR & CS wheels. That's why I have replaced my CRP v2 with a p1000i. The inverted Simagic pedals equipped with P-HRP devices are much more comfortable and helpful compared to Moza pedals. One set untested is Moza active pedals. I hope they are much better too.

    • @LaurenceDusoswa
      @LaurenceDusoswa  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      yeah I'm looking forward to those. You are right in my opinion. The P1000 pedals are better than anything moza makes right now. However, I have only just started my review of these and hope to get them feeling great.

      @@LaurenceDusoswa I also got a box of P1000 optional spring and rubber kit and using a combination of strings with no rubbers. I recommend you to have it too during your review. Rubbers do feel mushy which I too don't like. P1000 brake pedal does have the option of using the positional sensor instead which I like more and using it instead. Brake pedal with very little travel feels unrealistic to me. I like it when it is like the brake pedal of my Corolla 😄

    Very dull review. Not even utilizing what came in the Box to adjust your pedal feel does not make sense. The mounting was pretty simple to me. Locate holes on the bottom, drill, mount. What you did there was truly a garbage way to mount them, even if it was temporary😅

      Taking multiple designs, integrating it into your own product and reworking it to be cheaper than competitors isn’t lazy.
      They never just copy one design, it’s always incorporating elements from at least 3 different designs from competitors.
      It’s smart and consumer oriented. It’s more of a positive than a negative.
      At the end of the day, all that matters is the quality and price of the product.

      I disagree. I think they do quite well with their designs. I don't think they copy others any more than any other brand. These pedals will suit many who are coming from cheap pedals. But at this price, there are far more serious and adjustable options than the CRP2 at the moment.
