@Jordan Avalos better at breaking down and having poor quality control oh and they are also better at getting bailed out by the government never happened to ford
Those crash tests ard rather slow compared to some others. Partial front crash a more rigourous test. Plenty of small cars perform just as well (better) than this...size isn't everything!

They need to do more realistic speeds rather than babying the car. Most cars running a red light etc are doing in excess of 45 mph. Need more realistic speed test.
Not really thrilled about the side impact test being done with such a lighter/smaller vehicle. I always though these tests were done with relative equal weight vehicles.
@@myballsitchsomethingfierce6319 you see what little damage was caused by the "car" because most people don't just slam their truck into a brick wall. Most accidents are between 10-35 mph. So they test the high end. That's why they can say these trucks are Built Ford Tough
I had a F350 t-boned me after he ran a red light and the damage on that Ford was far more severe than what the video shows. I was driving a Chevy Tahoe.
That side-pole test was impressive! Took it like a champ

I want a relationship as strong as those doors
Then why don’t you answer me baby?
That thing is definitely built Ford tough
If you did this in a 60s car you’d be dead
But, the POINT is...if you did that in the 2001 Ford F-150, you would be equally Dead. They have improved since then
you must take into account that all of the objects hit other than the car did not move . you would take out most poles or walls .
This pickup is giant heavy strong💪 and safe
In vehicle to vehicle accidents (rather than fixed barrier accidents, heavy vehicles are much safer)
Not really. Its likely to roll. And bad at avoidance. Plus getting hit by one of these will definitely kill you
Jack Carline Heavy duty truck is safer to drive in dumbass

Best selling truck since 1948... Speaks for itself
#builtfordtough
@Transport and Destruction me too brother
If you had tried any of this in a Pinto the entire building would have blown up.
Listen to the "you're wrong about" podcast episode on Pintos.
I'll bet if NHTSA gave these trucks to Westen Champlin he'd have them all fixed and running again inside a month!
Side pole seems to be sure death/injury, but that's on just about every pickup. Until it hits the frame, it just keeps going through the cab.
This test mimics a crash during a drift. How often do you think F250 owners drift :D
it received a 5 star rating for this specific test, so most likely no death/serious injury in this scenario
Thats happen to all pickups, but more heavyer more severe because al the weight going into 1 spot

The windshields on these trucks are crazy tough
Can I get some parts off these trucks? LOL

Wow. I know I shouldn’t have gotten a new F-150, and should have gone for the F-250.
If it makes you feel any better, the cabs are identical.

Yall selling those tow mirrors?

80% of crashes are between 10-35 mph. They are testing on the high end.
Beautiful tan interior with the Red one
Glad I have mine 2021 platinum diesel luxury capability and super safe for the family

Best Trucks Ever Made !
Psst....wanna buy a slightly used Ford F250 truck?
You should see what happens to them in real accidents not good
Chevy guys (but but but it’s aluminum) yeah but where it counts it’s able to have a thicker frame and stronger crush walls. LOL
Ford 👍
Good job

Increase the speeds to 50 mph and see what happens, lol

I still like my Tundra
The supercab is the weakest cab, test the super crew would stand up better forsure.
Nonsense. This video proves the supercab is very strong.
@@apoxrox never said it wasnt strong, just the supercrew is stronger!! And the most popular model.
You are pretty safe in any configuration of this platform of trucks unless you take on a locomotive lol.
Yeap the supercrew cab has a better safe rating
You are not safe in any vehicle if you drive like a blazing idiot.
Next up headrest airbags to limit neck snap
What about roof strength test?
@Transport and Destruction rollover
What about a test with the moon roof? I want to see that.
You can see tests of the roof structure as well, just do a search.
Will 35s fit on this truck with a leveling kit 😂
37s fit stock with no leveling kit. As long as the offset is not crazy

Ever wonder if companies send them slightly stronger built vehicles for tests....
I’m not 100% sure, but I’m almost positive they purchase them off the lot and don’t get them directly from the manufacturers.
They buy them right off the lot.
Actually they dont know which is being picked for the test.
aluminum body, flex and disperses the impact

Airbag too small
all is good until you start it
