We had to get new difficulty for people to discover that "Precision Strike" jump pack perk is actually pretty good. Game was pretty generous with meds not gonna lie.
It honestly wasn’t generous. The game doesn’t decide how many medstims based off how many players are actually in the game, at that time. So it just looks like more because he’s the only one taking them. The med stims just spawn randomly, which for the most part, is built for a team of 3.
Still don’t have the skill to solo lethal, but solo ruthless with assault is so fun and satisfying. Even find the way how to deal with neurothrope after your ammo out. I don’t know why people still complain that assault somehow weak. On of the best classes period. Also I wish that heavy bolt pistol was available for vanguard. It’s lore accurate because the reavers can equip HBP. Since vanguard is collective imagine that includes reavers, I don’t understand why they can’t hold heavy pistol
I genuinely think a majority of the people who tried assault and say it sucks just suck themselves at this point. I have every class leveled up, and was a bulwark main for the most part, but then I tried assault and I just cannot leave it alone. Even at low levels I had zero issues.

I was one of the first to get the helmet from completing all 7 missions on day one of the drop, and assault (with a good player) is easily a top 3 class.) I honestly rank it above heavy, but I’m biased because I don’t like heavy.
Only problem with Assault is ranged enemies. just a couple gants get a decent burst off on you and thats goodbye armour and at least half your HP, especially while jump packing. Also good to see that even with the Tyrant fight you have off dodges and get hit as much as any other decent player. Unlike the SCRUBS of assaults ive been getting the last couple days that die almost immediately and then quit.
You don’t have to take the ranged damage. This coming from someone who got the helmet and sword already a few days ago: You can just dodge devourer shots, which are usually what mess me up. Just time it right.
Also, you’re probably mistaking the gaunts for the devourers. Even all together, the gaunts even on lethal, don’t usually do enough damage to be devastating.

I have to learn to control him when he’s crashing down much better.
