With micro conductor change, we can now be CHEESE WIZARDS. Plascrete catalyst with the electric damage bonus means the cheese combo is hilariously good.

The only exception I found to Blood Sugar is Elimination. Unless you farm bugs to have lots of sugar down, during the Dread phase you'll likely run out of sugar on the floor. In other missions it's been a "floor is red sugar" pretty much :D
Played blood sugar in a h5max dotty mission as gunner and in a stroke of genius i pulled out mortar rounds with damage reduction. Being able to just sit in a swarm was so unbelievably satisfying. It's an interesting mutator that definitely buffs a lot of builds (cough cryo driller) which makes it rlly fun to see. It's like "oh sick blood sugar lemme pull out damage reduction/berserker/vampire/cryo" yk all that shit.
All i was thinking was cryo driller bazurkur sweet tooth vampire thorns blood sugar and swarmageton with haz5+ more bugs with 3other ppl doing the same build and iron willl obviously is the new gold rush with pots of gold 🎉
Blood sugar is weird, cause it completely inverts the game's normal difficulty. Like the way you play (solo haz 5) is when you get the most out of it, but with every extra player you're taking more damage per second collectively, and the lower the hazard level gets the less red sugar there is to go around. Like I could easily imagine haz 1 with 4 people being near impossible to do without someone downing, lol. Also I love this overclock. The one thing that slightly bothers me is that the turret arc part of it feels kinda worthless? Like it takes way longer to set up than shooting the platforms, _and_ it does friendly fire while the platforms don't (while not doing any more damage by comparison). I hope they get rid of the friendly fire cause it just feels unnecessary. Maybe at the same time it could have an uptime buff since it'll no longer hurt teammates in the area. Like imagine if the turret could keep the electrified status by shooting bugs (so they stay electrified as long as they have bugs to shoot and ammo to shoot with). I would accept a slight nerf to the platform part if it got something like that in exchange, since the platform traps are kinda insane.
i would LOVE to see a buff to turret arc because its such a cool idea as a competitor to turret whip and it encourages people to do the rare double (or more) engi. its kinda sad that they dont buff it because i dont think anybody would be mad to see it up there in the meta along with the average to high level shit.
@@Appletank8 yeah i think thats why they dont want to buff turret arc itself cuz theyd be too similar so their solution was platforms but still kinda sucks to have a basically useless part of an oc
First time I played with Blood Sugar was on Refining on haz3, with a full team of randos, and there just weren't enough bugs for all of us, people kept going down constantly. Then I played with it on haz5 and it was a breeze. Truly a strange modifier.
Good addon for turrets is that maybe they gain a chain hit and increased fire rate alongside the arc, or maybe they fire a fucking laserbeam like anything that makes the turrets slightly better would be good. But like now that turret arc is so busted there's kinda no reason to make it even stronger.
I'm with you on the Blood Sugar modifier. It's an interesting concept & I'm not opposed on principle. Unfortunately, imo the implementation is the worst combination of incredibly easy & annoying. All the threat of the mission goes out the window, & you're probably only ever going to go down to a Dread, Bulk or falling (since all of those can 1 shot you). In addition, you get constant waves of swarmers which again aren't hard & give you a lot of HP but are just irritating when you're trying to mine or do an objective.

be careful with Plascrete Catalyst, it's bugged atm as it can damage Hacksy and Doretta.
Micro conductor is safe to use though, no bugs found yet.

I think armor break came with the season 4 maintenance update. Also PGL does have an armor break mod
AoE armor break was bugged for a very long time
it does it's just an AoE weapon and armor break doesn't really matter on it is what I was more saying
The AB fix only made projectile single target damage better, AoE AB is still really bad, likely on purpose (despite Breach Cutter existing)

Shard does have armor break btw, it just competes with the heat mod lol
