I feel like Burst Fire, rather than giving the damage and stun chance increase, should have been a large ammo boost instead. Currently for the GK2 with Burst Fire as it is, we have 6 dps boosting overclocks, a small mag boost overclock, and Electric reload which is a gimmick overclock. There is nothing for dealing with hoards or increasing ammo economy. So either giving it blow-through rounds for clearing hoards or an ammo boost would be the best way to make Burst Fire more viable.

Take this and special powder boomstick with white phosporous rounds and you can very literally be the most mobile scout in the world that also has the ability to kill dreadnoughts. Unreal.

Haz 5+2 health bugs in solo scaling means the dread is still like 30-40% of a normal haz 5 dreadnought. You wanna see actual damage? Try breach cutter engie + this build in 4 player scaling

The only exception I found to Blood Sugar is Elimination. Unless you farm bugs to have lots of sugar down, during the Dread phase you'll likely run out of sugar on the floor. In other missions it's been a "floor is red sugar" pretty much :D

Right the problem with the Hiveguards sentinels are always spawning outside where you’re at instead in. Guessing the games spawn mechanic if there’s not available spawning spot needed it will instead spawn’em outside. Like this shit is more annoying than you think, other than it’s a good quick breathe to get ammo or health in the room then back to killing.

Maybe it'd be fun if it was hyperburst mof instead which you can switch on/off holding R and it would fire 3 rounds much faster and very precisely so there's more incentive to use it to snipe spitters and stuff

me and a couple of guys did base haz 5 with 4 player scaling. With CT, Armor Break, MFD, and IFG, I was able to two shot both twins with flamethrower scorching wave oc. Which is reasonable.

honestly its not that bad when you compare it with iced marked for death builds you limit yourself but still get a good chunk of damage in

the fact that this overclock has no threshold limit to the debuff stacks is a bit OP. But on the other side, who cares 🤷‍♂️ Even if they make it so it can only apply 20 stacks it would be a 100% dmg increase and Breachcutter melts them even more with this. Joined a Haz 5 Game were the host was running breach with I think SPC. Does the Breach deal Fire Dmg or do I go crazy? Even if it wasn't SPC you could still run Inferno or HVC on it for the elemental dmg. Anyway, fastest Kills I ever seen. The basic Dread couldn't even attack once. We just bullied him😂

I feel like you should've been getting phase skips with this? Wondering if maybe it doesn't work on boomstick because only some of the shells deal damage before invulnerability kicks in. Anyway yeah conductive thermals continues to be silly, lol. Was playing crystal nucleation driller with a scout running it on escort, and during the heartstone fight a bulk detonator spawned in. I got in range to start freezing it, and in the course of about 3-4 seconds it froze, unfroze, froze again and died while frozen from nearly full health. And this was in haz 5+ with 4 players (all modifiers _except for_ tougher enemies)

I think smart trigger is very similiar to what you think of burst fire, an overclock that has no reason to exist. That is maybe too harsh, it's definitely at least an overclock I just find a shame to be added instead of something cool and more interesting. It's basically just Executioner evolved, but without any weakpoint bonus... and without any real downsides, atleast Exec. had the lower mag size, when wil GSG understand lower lock amount is pretty much no downside whatsoever. I even thought maybe this one might work, since having only 2 locks means you can't trigger electrocution, then I see this and nvm... it's stil f- absurd. The real downside is the selling point upside, the gun takes away your control to hold locks and make decisions about if you want to shoot at those points, which is you know,, THE IDEA OF LOK-1, where you need to be more strategic and think before shooting in exchange for having the shooting done for you. I don't mind the absolute idea of an overclock that makes it more of a generic assault rifle than LOK-1, but it should be a clean overclock and focus on the single shot mode, turning the gun into a glorified aimbot is so stupid and I would prefer... literally any other idea for an overclock instead of SMRT trigger, I like how it slightly shakes up the mod tree, but like rotary overdrive, just because an overclock gives unused weapon mods slightly more utility, it doesn't make it a good designed OC, it needs to have something to offer on it's own.
