That scene broke my heart! The way they looked at each other, the lighting, the music, the warmth of the memory against the bittersweetness of their present. You could feel their love, still there, lingering between them. And Mia, realizing Sebastian had stayed true to the dreams she'd shared with him years before. He never changed, never compromised who he was at his core. And you could see she still loved him. It reminded me of that earlier scene, where they looked at each other and wordlessly promised to love each other forever, no matter what. Their eyes spoke volumes about the depth of their connection. I love this film. I admire Sebastian's devotion and loyalty. If I were Mia, I would have chosen him, dropped everything to be with him. His love was a dream, more beautiful than anything else. Sebastian's love for Mia wasn't possessive; he wanted her to succeed, even if it meant the end of their relationship. I love this movie. It evokes every emotion - sadness, joy - and the music, it's just perfect, so perfect it brings tears to my eyes.

She refused to come with him and practice on the road. She was jealous of his success and pulled away from him because of her envy. The second she got success she bounced and completely forgot about him. He not only made a club in remembrance of her - after the name she chose - but he had a GIANT mural of her on the side of his building as you walk into Seb’s. He is too good for her. He helped her a lot more than she helped him and she dumped him the second she caught a break. I love the movie, because it’s accurate to real life.
I remember my ex dragging me to watch this movie when it first came out in theater & I thought it was going to be a tacky romantic movie so I begged him not to take me, but by the end of it I was so in love with this movie, it's a masterpiece, iconic, will go down as a classic and heart wrenching 😭😭😭

it's not that simple, plus Mia was already with her bf at the time. The point of the movie is to show that you can't have everything you want, you will have to do sacrifices and every action has it's consequences. Maybe they moved out the country or just weren't interested like that anymore, it could be a lot really.
