honestly, yeah moonlight had impeccable pictures and it was frankly a really good movie, and its message applies to a lot of society's problems today, but la la land certainly deserved more praise for the pictures in this movie. like seriously, these amazing actors did a whole dance set and in the background was one of the incredible Californian sunsets, and it didn't win best picture? and what about the UNFORGETTABLE shots taken during the "what if" scene? really really deserved that best picture. it's not just another movie about society's problems like moonlight, it was a creative and innovative movie that combined hollywood's reputation for inspiring something within watchers and evoking those feelings through great imagery and crafting art like la la land. it is surely a movie that not only is lighthearted and fun to watch, but it also depicts important messages about life and undoubtedly will be remembered as one of the best movies of the decade.

The scene was shot in 4 ininterupred takes over the course of two evenings. The third take was used. They were challenged with the light and sky changing while shooting on a crane where the operaators and talent had to nail their many marks perfectly. Well done!
I saw no chemistry. The sparring early on. Then at the surprise dinner, she was very nasty. They had no chemistry and obviously were never in love. They were at best helpful to each other for a short period of time but were never in love and the ending was perfectly logical, because of that. There not being a single love scene in the film was the director saying that. Great film, one of the best Iv ever seen.

Люблю их взаимодействие в кадре с Эммой. В "Этой дурацкой любви" между ними тоже невероятная химия. ❤
This movie is so special to my heart, me and my long time girlfriend watched this on cinema when we're just friends back then.
It brings so much memories.. Then we became official after 3 months.
The scene was shot in 4 ininterupred takes over the course of two evenings. The third take was used. They were challenged with the light and sky changing while shooting on a crane where the operaators and talent had to nail their many marks perfectly. Well done!
Just rewatched this masterpiece recently and it was amazing the chemistry between Ryan gosling and Emma stone was perfect
I have never been a musicals person, and only caught a part walking through my buddy’s house of LaLa Land. It caught my attention so much I had to go home and watch it. I love this movie
This scene is so freaking beautiful
This part is so epic I cant even stop myself rewatching this again!!
The color is amazing!!!
Can't take my eyes off from Emma Stone's yellow dress that just stands out from the beautiful purplish-orange calm scenery!
One of the most beautiful things I have seen. 🍂❤️
This one shot dance is the best scene that I've ever watched 😍😍😍
I still love this movie! Emily is lovely, as usual. And Ryan, well gosh what can't he do? Act, sing, dance and just be totally charming!
Emma, not Emily
@@bc2194 Her real name is Emily.
If there is any a word to describe this movie aptly, that definitely is 'INSPIRING'.
Inspirational direction, Inspirational music, Inspirational actors and yes, Inspiring story! Love la la land.
No words to describe the emotions I feel watching this movie. Such a lighthearted, inspirational, beautiful story. Extremely talented actors and their Long shots (God!!!) especially this dance, Masterpiece in itself! Beautiful visuals, Wonderful Music. I just LOVE everything about this movie, Every single detail!!
I’m here because his recent Oscar’s performance was elite

Almost forgot to watch this today.
There are so many reasons to love this scene. It’s quietly, and tastefully fabulous ❤️
Each second is a one beautiful picture. Perfect for me
This movie is a beauty and a magnificent lovely piece of art and this is by far the best scene in Lala Land by far and every song is just music to my ears in the song and no other movie will ever come close to beating this movie!!! No wonder why it won 6 Oscar’s well deserved we need a Lala Land 2 to continue on Sebastian and Mia’s story we need more!!!!!!!!!!
I love this movie so much. I read the screenplay recently and as a writer I found some hidden gems in it.
