Pleeeease if you want to bleach your eyebrows use stuff that's safe to use on your face especially near your eyes! I bleached my eyebrows many times and always used RefectoCil Blonde Brow they also have a 10 vol developer, it's made for bleaching your eyebrows and safe to use! Also use Vaseline to protect your skin around your brows ❤

I honestly feel bad for the teens and young adults who feel pressured to film everything especially when it's a fail. I got a horrible perm in the 8th grade ( never do the peach rollers) that was so humiliating my mom let me stay home from school for 3 days. That was in 87. I can't imagine how much more mortifying it would have been had I filmed and broadcast the beauty fail. Especially knowing how mean people are online. This wasn't a spectacular fail but I always think about it watching your videos.

I guess keeping occupied with a task can sometimes be a distraction. It's difficult to relax and chill when anxiety is rife. I'm glad the swelling around ger eybrows went down. That was a relief to see. Kudos to her boyfriend for being understanding too. Makes a lot of difference to have support when times are tough.
Why don’t these people buy bleach meant for your face? I used to get bleach and dye meant for beards when I did my eyebrows and it was much weaker than normal bleach and didn’t burn my skin. I did this when I was dying my hair red so I actually wanted an orange look.
My natural hair color is a level 7 blonde. For years, I was dark auburn. My hair professional would dye my brows so they were in sync with my hair. I'm now back to my natural blonde (also some purple, but that's not permanent) and I don't have to touch my brows. They're perfect. 😊
Sally Hansen's cream bleach for facial hair works great on eyebrows. I bleached mine for years so that I could draw them back on in a different color. Fun times... edit: They also make a special bleach for "intimate areas" I've tried that too!
I tried one of those facial hair bleach kits on my eyebrows once, it didn't do anything. There are some good colored brow gels if one wants a different look, much safer since it's just makeup and not permanent. I personally like the no eyebrows look, sometimes I shave sometimes I cover it in makeup, bleach is just not the way.
I had a salon bleach my eyebrows n I loved it as was platinum. She said she wasn't supposed to but did anyway. That's crazy she did that tho after all your warnings! Wow*my hair was platinum but eyebrows were just a dark blonde - just not darrrrk brown like my natural color.

If your anxiety is at that high of a level, you need help both medically and psychologically. And if your anxiety is at that high of a level, it is not going to be reduced by doing things that make you anxious and may possibly exacerbate your condition. If you have a physician, get help. It only gets worse.
I found the perfect use for 40v. It is so strong (alone) it is used to restore old items like keyboards, computers, video consoles and mobile home showers from the aged yuck yellow back to grey/white.
I had an allergic reaction to bleach but only a certain brand that my stylist used😅, I bought the one I used to bleach my hair on my own and I asked him to use that bleach, we prepared for the worst😱, but everything turned out well, and It didn't even cause irritation on my scalp and now I can go back to dyeing my hair non-normal colors (like my soul) and that makes me happy❤❤❤. I bleach only the growth every 6 months and touch up my mushroom cut every 2 months, so my hair stays healthy and silky.

I used to color my eyebrows black (suiting my hair color), but I am allergic. In Germany they sell eyebrow kits with 10 vol. max! 20 vol. seems like overkill to me. I totally agree with you, it's not neccessary to color eyebrows, and it's dangerous. You can buy eyebrow powder ( like eyeshadow basically) in drugstores if you need to darken them.
Just as bad a look - though less dangerous - is women who shave off their eyebrows and then draw fake ones way higher; for some reason they want to permanently look surprised 🤷♀ Pluck them to shape them, if necessary, but don't mess with them.
PSA. DO NOT put ice on burned skin! You can cause further tissue damage. You can run cool water over it or use a cool, wet compress/cloth but don’t put ice on it.
Brow bleaching is simply to "cut" the darkness....not to go from black to blonde. Particularly for a woman with dark brows and a prominent browbone, it can make an enormous difference. It is not, however, a substitute for brow grooming if that's the look you're aiming for. Better to underprocess than end up with yellow orange brows.
in my early twenties i used to bleach my moustache and sideburns area cause i was too lazy to wax. i've used special kit that was made for bleaching facial hair and after few months of using it i developed allergic reaction to it, i end up with tons of small bumps and redness all over the areas i bleached. don't be stupid like me, make sure to always do small allergy test before the bleach get in touch with big areas on your skin

Oui! Bleaching eyebrows is crazy. It is extremely caustic and will cause severe skin burns. The skin on the scalp is thicker then the thin skin around the eyes. The scalp and face do not compare for each other. Let alone having a product that can permanently cause blindness is crazy. I’ll never understand why people this this is okay. I have been licensed 23yrs and have seen my fair share of skin burns from bleaching.
Aloe Vera people. It even helps when you burn your scalp from bleaching your hair. If you have access to the stuff straight from the plant its better in general than the stuff you buy in the bottle.

As someone with both forms of anxiety (and other things), I really don't understand what bleaching your eyebrows have to do with it. This isn't how you battle anxiety. This isn't "conquering your fears". This is how you make an impulsive decision to look different and stand out because you're bored. Maybe I'd understand if she shaved her hair off because it was damaged, or changed her entire look (not just the eyebrows), She comes off so confident and extroverted and not truly bothered by the unfortunate turn of events. My eyebrow hair is so light it's basically clear, and I have deep set eyes so it looks even more ridiculous. I don't color them though. Don't know how and don't care enough. 😊
I’m lucky that my eyebrows light. It is a tiny bit darker when I was younger. My eyebrows looked liked I shaved them when I was younger. When I bleached my hair my eyebrows looked liked a dark blonde.

Just give time a chance. Last year at age 58 my eyebrows and eye lashes turned gray like the hair on my head and bonus!! They all thinned too!

Omg you can't mix bleach less than 1:1 or 1:1,5 depending on the brand. I bleached my eyebrows, but measure the right amount

As someone with both forms of anxiety (and other things), I really don't understand what bleaching your eyebrows have to do with it. This isn't how you battle anxiety. This isn't "conquering your fears". This is how you make an impulsive decision to look different and stand out because you're bored. Maybe I'd understand if she shaved her hair off because it was damaged, or changed her entire look (not just the eyebrows), She comes off so confident and extroverted and not truly bothered by the unfortunate turn of events. I'm just genuinely confused why we started off with using anxiety as an excuse to do this. You're young and bored or maybe it was a prank for your boyfriend. It's okay.
Question. Why is it that sometimes your eyebrows do not grow back?
When the skin calms down, she should use an eyebrow pencil or something to darken them up and not try and color them to darken them.

Most people, like myself, who have light colored eyebrows naturally, need to color them in so you can actually see that we have eyebrows.
I actually liked My blonde hair and Dark eyebrows together ,I'd never have the nerve to do this You can go blind and Babe either a Bra or Not a white shirt Your to beautiful for that
My eyebrow hair is so light it's basically clear, and I have deep set eyes so it looks even more ridiculous. I don't color them though. Don't know how and don't care enough. 😊
I’m lucky that my eyebrows light. It is a tiny bit darker when I was younger. My eyebrows looked liked I shaved them when I was younger. When I bleached my hair my eyebrows looked liked a dark blonde.
This is why you must buy burn cream as a neccessity of your kitchen junk drawer .

I naturally have almost no eyebrows, I mean, I have them, but they are so light... I get you, I don't like the look of bleached eyebrows too. And I'm jealous of anyone having full dark ones.

I bleached mine last year and I'm 50. Next day i put dark dye back on them, never again ❤
