Mild detergent (dish soap)and warm water is always recommended with a sponge to clean waterborne acrylic films. Also, no washing or scrubbing should be done until 28 days have passed to achieve a full cure.

I suspect NEITHER of those paints is a good choice for trim , doors , cabinets ..... Unless it's a rent house , but $50 a gallon will buy some decent water clean up trim paints that dry pretty hard .... Pro classic hybrid is one

it seems to me both of those paints are more for walls than trim .....

So does Ben get the 8 for coverage WITH the extender or without? Did the regal select do just as well without the m1? Also, have you done a comparison of m1 and Floetrol?

I have matte walls. You reccomend satin or semigloss for trim ?

Thanks for this video. So would you say Regal Select Semi provides ample open time for laying off your work or would it also really benefit from a paint extender? Thanks.

Would the extender have an impact on the washability? Also, would the second coat of the Regal benefit by the extender?

You are correct that the paint can be used on the walls, but they are not wall paints. These quotes come from Ben Moores website "Ideal for trim, doors, and cabinets" www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/interior-exterior-paints-stains/product-catalog/rswip/regal-select-interior-paint
It is also has the same data for Ben More Ben Semi-gloss. I am appreciative you enjoyed the test and I hope you find my reply useful.

you failed to mention the #1 characteristic you'd want in a trim paint .... cured out hardness ..... you want trim paint to dry somewhat "hard" ..... OBVIOUSLY it won't be as hard as oil , but good grief , there are water clean up paints that dry pretty hard .....
