I would think that people are going to think I am a crack pot for what I am about to say but I am going to say it anyway. Since starting flight sim it has been my greatest honour and pleasure to watch your videos and tutorials. They are done with such professionalism and unbiased. Your criticism is structive and informative. Personally I think your the best and I mean no disrespect to others that put their valuable time into their tutorials.

I got the airplane a few days ago and really enjoy it. I find the fms quite easy to use once you get used to it, and the developer was really helpful. You can also edit the route after hitting exec, just go back to init and hit initialize fms, it won't delete the plan only if you hit clr, it will just allow you to edit it.

Hi Q8Pilot, I had a visitor at home today, a real Lagacy 650 Air Hamburg pilot. We flew from Hamburg to Nice. Had no idea about the SIM plane Embraer Legacy 650 and managed to get the plane airborne after an hour. Without much prior knowledge on either side as far as the SIM is concerned, we got the plane modeled too sluggishly down and landed. We drank, please forgive me, two bottles of red wine. You can't have more fun. Greetings from south Germany, Mike. Next time, we'll follow your instructions!!! Promised...

Just purchased The Xcraft Family,....incl. the Legacy 650. Looks like the same Basic set up on all of them,...which hopefully is realistic,...But is definitely easier to remember & have fun with all 4 of these aircraft !! So,...Thanks Osamah for another “easy” tutorial on these Planes too !!👍👍🇺🇸😊

This ERJ aircraft does have an auto throttle. Click on the screw on the panel to the left of the FD1 button. The screw will light up green then you can set your speed.
How are you able to have space for all your sceneries like all ortho ? ive installed all ortho in the US besides Florida and Northern California because i dont have enough space in my B drive and i want to eventually get all the ortho for the UK
This aircraft has some hidden features. One of them is a autothrottle for lazy people like me :)

How does one set the trim? You doing it ... but there's no wheel (like the 737s)....damn, i was hoping to skip the manual...
Seems the VSD in my first flight did not display the TOC nor TOD prior to reaching the crz altitude or prior to starting the descent. It shows the TOD after starting the descent. I may have not do something correct. In any event it is not like the Boeing FMS which do show those on the ND.
how do you pressurize the aircraft?
I know I'm a little late but I have a question. Do all of the controls operate and function as usual? I know in MSFS a lot of the controls are marked as INOP, so is it the same here? Thanks.
No it is different here. I would recommend that you take a look at the new EJet series from XCrafts as this aircraft has not been updated in a while.

I most cases I never go below 40fps but I get 50+ in less detailed scenery.
@@Q8Pilot As a real life private pilot I started build my home sim and thinking about new PC only for x plane. I'm aiming on i7-9700k + 2080 super / 32gb ram. Based on your experience how many fps should I expect in vanilla x plane? Cheers
@@zensu94 with that setup you should get at least 40 fps in vanilla with medium-high settings.

@@Enzo-ek7zk update: stable 60 fps over big city in cockpit , +/- 80 fps in chase camera

hello and thanks for all your videos. i also started xplane together with your videos to help me . a few things to know. the altitudes changed place due to an update of tekton fms. and last i have the impression that you made a mistake on the fms input. thats why you had the mismatch alt message. for that reason the fms could not calculate the TOD spot. also i have a complain to make as a fan of your channel. it seems on the last videos the quality and depth of your tutorials has dropped. they look a bit rushed and cover all the obvious things and nothing in depth . i have only good intentions and hoping to see again the kind of videos that made me a loyal follower of your channel . thanks for all your time . peace

I would pick the one that has more public liveries available. Essentially they are all the same with different range and payload limits.

It is not a big deal in a sim where there are no passengers.

Ahhh seems there are runway /taxy way lights ON STANDS STICKING UP ABOVE THE RUNWAY SURFACE. Whoever designed that addon airport obviously has never flown any plane from any airport. The last thing a prop plane wants is a prop strike. Not too nice for turbine engines either.
These instructions no longer work to start the plane engines. It's fine to leave the video up but it's terrible to imply the instructions are still valid and a huge WARNING should be put up so people don't waste hours of time trying to figure out why it works in the video but not at their end.
This is indeed a very old video. The procedures are correct but there is an issue with xp12 which prevents correct procedure to start engines. It would help to understand what version of xp you are using. No need for warning or anything like that though. Wait for the developer to fix the issue. In the mean time read the support forum to understand the workaround to start the engines. There is no implication from side as to the validity of the procedure either so watch at your own risk =)
