Though your car is very quick, I think the zl1's are a little quicker than you think. A ZL1 in perfect conditions will run 11.0s. I've personally gone 10.9 bone stock . Keep up the good work, I enjoy your video.
My car ran 11.3 on good E and bad conditions. I think under the right scenario I can run a 11 as well or barely under. We will see. Gonna keep going at it.

You can buy Hyde Serum you spray the rotors and the rust is gone.Google it. I keep my Camaro SS covered up it really helps. I have a 2008 BMW X3 I use for daily driving. I got it from a guy I know who gave it to me for hardly anything. I don’t have to drive my Camaro in the rain or snow anymore. The Beast is awesome 😎✊

The Goodyear Eagle F1 are garbage on my ZL1.... I get wheel spin at 70 mph.... agreed ZL1 should walk you from a roll ... good stuff if our paths cross I’ll gap you too! 😆
Well theyre a hell of alot better than my firestones xD. Even the owner of the zl1 admitted to me he was hooking no problem. But yes at my current state it should gap me easily. And by the time we cross your not gonna want to race me =P

FBO E85 SS runs equal to stock zl1. Motor be gapping them if he was setup for na with his cam and converter. But he is built for the future

Just speaking from personal experience man. I’m at 10.6 with bolt ons and stock converter. Stock zl1 ain’t running that
Absolutely! Thats why when I roll race, I do it just for fun. That shit is NOT serious to me. Roll racing isnt real racing. The drag strip is where the true measure is weighed. Thanks for your support bro!
@@MotorFire "Roll racing isn't real racing." LMAO at this. So what are you doing on a road course when you're passing people from a roll down the back straight? Real racing is not just the drag strip it's also the road course too. On the road course you're racing from a roll and through some turns depending on the track. A stock ZL1 is an extremely impressive car out of the box with a factory warranty that is miles ahead of your modded SS that's built for the drag strip. You can do both very well with the ZL1. The 11 coolers in the front end alone with all the engineering that goes into the ZL1 is phenomenal.
This is coming from someone who just traded in his Modded 2017 1SS Camaro for a 2019 ZL1 10 speed auto. You need to drive a ZL1 and actually push it to really understand what I'm talking about here.
The race track where the skill of a driver comes into play is NOTHING like a roll race. How can you even compare the two? When you are at a road course that is NOTHING compared to roll racing. The fact that you even thought they can compare is hilarious in itself. Because your "rolling" past someone? come on dude. Road course takes great skill to master. Drag strip has a science behind it thats tough to master, but roll racing? Ok.

Motor Fire I just ordered a set. I have a base 1 SS, no sun roof, manual etc. I think it’s the lightest you can get but I hope these don’t weigh a lot more than the stocks

Cammed fbo 6gen gaps stock zl1 man. If not gapping him than you should be dead even but no way u lose to him. I have headers tune exhaust 19 ss and i gapped hellcat challenger off a dig and roll. He is a manual tho. Fbo 6gen run low 11s u should be running 10s with the cam man

The camaro you raced had about the same hp as you right? Was he power shifting? Cuz our manual Camaro’s have the option of doing so safely and I think you wouldn’t pull on him as hard or at all.
to my knowledge he was. From a roll the difference between our cars are not as great (as expected) however from a dig its a totally different ball game.

Stock zl1 is faster than 11.4 in perfect conditions .Some have gone 10.9

You must need a better tuner. With all those mods you should be hanging with a bone stock zl1 better.

We have basically the same car and yet you get 4mpg ? Something is really wrong there.
I only drive about 10 minutes a day. Which a couple minutes consists of a cold start / idle. I drive usually only on E85. I also drive in only city enviorments (traffic, sometimes bumper to bumper traffic) absolutely no highway whatsoever. I am unsure but does your car have a stage 2 cam in it with a built bottom end and ported everything / tuned transmission? That has a major effect as well. On highway I get 13-15MPG.
@@MotorFire I drive mostly in city traffic, we have no E85 here. I have an MSD intake with a 103" throttle body from Nick Williams. I have a bunch of addons but engine is not cammed
Yeah lol. Wait till you have a stage 2 cam in your car and its on full E85 and in only city driving, not mostly. Then you will see your MPG drop to nothing. Cam life baby.

I was thinking about you friday morning , why because you have your car in a very dangerous small street and not sure if you have violent or just good people around you anyway my brand new SS got keyed Friday night the entire back upper bumper and trunk I live basically in almost all retirement people in these town homes I have no enemy's and this keyed thing is just pissed me off behond belief again I thinking how the hell does your car in NY not get fucked with and here I am in this little community and get this treatment...I'm NC freacking 1000 deductible .

Catch can which one for a SS is good I can get name a good one not rediciless priced.
That ZL1 isn't stock. I own a 2019 A10 and tuned bolt on SS's on E give me a hard ass time. without mods and tune, ZL1 is not what youtube makes them out to be.
