Another great video my friend. Did the same exact project last year, except took down the popcorn on the ceilings and added crown moulding. Its a bigger job than it looks on your video. You make it look easy. Nice gray color. A little lighter than the one I went with, but I think its still looks stunning. The wife must've been thrilled. After seeing this video, I may tackle another room upstairs this year before the cold weather moves in. Probably have another month of solid weather to do that project. Looking forward to seeing you do that bathroom reno! Wishing you & yours my best.
I came across your channel while looking for diys for my home on a very tight budget. Like you, I need floors windows and doors and I need to do it myself. I don't have anyone to help, literally, so I figured I could watch some TH-cam to see if I could do it on my own. I have never tried flooring but have painted before and I guess I can figure out how to use a level. I live in middle Tennessee can you give me a guesstimate as to a cost range for a do it yourself project for the flooring and paint.
I did enjoy the video, exactly what I was looking for. some voice overs and not using the same twice in a row would improve it massively though! How long was the entire process?
Had me worried for a minute when you spray painted over the doorknob, hinges, and outlets! But it was all taken care of in the end. BTW what was that pink stuff you were applying to the baseboards before painting?
why didn't you used the paint gun to paint the walls but you did everything else with it? im new to this and im about to remodel my bedroom for the first time ever
i'm trying to figure out what you did with the doors on the table saw...i understand shortening the height probably because of the new flooring but you seemed to rip it slightly also..why?
No.. sometimes you'll glue the end pieces but they all click in to each other. They won't move and don't expand and contract like wood. I always just glue the perimeter and none of the center ones are glued.
I get that tearing out carpet and replacing it with laminate flooring has become a trend over the years, but hardwood floors for bedrooms just feel so empty and soulless to me. A bedroom is supposed to be a cozy place of rest and relaxation. I don't want to get out of my bed and have my bare feet touch cold hard wood or laminate floor. That's just my personal opinion though.
I feel like carpet its a very American thing. In Portugal some houses have just plain tile on the bedroom floor XD yes tile, hardwood or laminate flooring is what we consider cozy

You need to wear that Hello Kitty bandana more!
Lol, I should have made a few. It was from the curtains that were removed.
Brings out your playful, not so serious side.

It is DryDex Spackling from DAP. It fills in the nail holes and goes on pink and dries white. Thanks for the question! Cheers!
Nice done man

Isnt the room too small for a bedroom? It looks like a closet space instead of bedroom
Same shit just different floor 😢🥺
