A tip when installing Kerdi board. Slice with a knife 3/4 through the back and fold for inside corners. Then easy taping and waterproofing of seams are on flat walls.
Am I a professional in any way shape or form? No. However I appreciate the detail and care that went into this, I hope your business soars! Amazing work and a beautiful wet room!
As a Home Designer who's drawn up more of these projects than I can count, I love the inside look at all the troubling details you run into when doing something as simple as 'curbless' wet rooms. Wonderful work Wolkon! I also like seeing some of the details of LED lighting in niches. I've got to steal that one. 🙂 Then there is the medicine cabinet mirrors mounted proud of the wall with the hidden LED down task lighting on the vanity counter. Great idea there also as it brings that mirror closer to the user. I'd be interested to hear PChen1126's comment on how they like it. Only thing I don't like are those trendy freestanding tubs. How the heck to you clean out the backside and corners?

I like the fully tiled-wet room concept that I have seen in UK bathrooms. I've seem them in council houses and in hotels. It does leave much more space.
I love this! I have watched hundreds of DIY videos yo prepare myself to do mine all bu myself. I sell all the materials you use here and I also wanted to be educated. Super great narrative. I only wanted to ad the fold technique with the Kerdi for no tape inside corners. I would have liked a Schluter Rounded or Jolly edge. I imagine when the walls flex you might have cracking on your outside edges. ❤❤❤
Wow it looks beautiful you guys put so effort its easy to see that your passionate about your job and making it perfect really professional I wish more builders were as professional and hard working as you guys great job
Great work. My only concern is the proximity of the standing tub to the wall. It is likely impossible to clean. Tub surrounds aren’t en vogue but they make more sense in tight spaces. I need to look into those edge pieces to better integrate the glass install.
Thanks! Definitely more work if you want to regularly clean behind the tub like this but you can always just take the handheld and spray it down as it is all waterproof. Or better yet you could approach it like I how I handle my problems in life and just not

Love the epoxy in the miter….. great idea i will be borrowing ….. !!! One of my fav remodel vids….. will be using this when i build my first wet room- with the exception of the DTV system and the Kohler Tub filler in the ceiling….. your work is meticulous!! Cheers!
Real quality works guys! True professionals!
A tip when installing Kerdi board. Slice with a knife 3/4 through the back and fold for inside corners. Then easy taping and waterproofing of seams are on flat walls.
Just noticed: we used the same freestanding bath tub for the renovation. Such a lovely small tub. Thank you for your video. I like it!
Thank you glad you liked it!
I love how clearly you've explained everything to a newb!
Am I a professional in any way shape or form? No. However I appreciate the detail and care that went into this, I hope your business soars! Amazing work and a beautiful wet room!
Amazing pride in work! Hard to find this type of person nowadays i run my own company and this is what i drill into my employees pride in your work!
Everything about how this guy operates seems exquisite. Big fan of your work here in Atlanta.
Thank you really appreciate it!
Wow, wow, wow, thank you for posting such an informative vlog, will be checking out your whole site, you popped up in my algorithm! 🙏👍☺️
Good Job, That was super advanced tile work. It looks awesome.
Thanks!
Love the video and the breakdown at the end. Great work. It looks amazing. I will definitely be watching more of your channel.
Absolutely beautiful🤩 been watching your videos for a while now and your work never ceases to amaze me you guys are super talented keep up the amazing work🫶🏾
Thank you so much!!
Love it ... wish I can watch all the contractors work like that ...
This is amazing. Y'all's heart and soul went into this wet room and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Insane work! This is gorgeous. Also expected it to be way more expensive than it was.
That's TOP NOTCH work!! .. most working this trade do inferior work, but you guys did EVERYTHING right .. looks great and is built to last.
Really good job! Looks lovely! I enjoyed watching the way you did everything with such care for detail and safety in mind.
2:33 this is why id like to start doing my own renos. I want these dead spaces completely off the blueprints for the home. So they can serve as vaults for valuables.
Incredible work guy, just solid build, design, knowledge and filming!
If I couldn’t do it myself, I’d definitely hire you to do the job. Wow! Quality work is truly understated.
Wow what a transformation you do great work I would have never imagined the bathroom looked like it did in the beginning and such a transformation had been done great remodel work 👌 keep up the good wrk👍
I like the fully tiled-wet room concept that I have seen in UK bathrooms. I've seem them in council houses and in hotels. It does leave much more space.
Just bought a house in Acton, ON. Saving you for a future bathroom reno like this or at least a quote. Awesome work!
It's always a good day when you upload
Haha thank you very much!
Amazing work. Love the attention to detail and quality of the finishing details.
Wonderful video Wolkon, hard work goes into both the renovation and your videos and it really shows. Keep it up!
Thank you I appreciate the kind words!
It’s nice to see a bathroom that isn’t stark white. Great job.
Why am I so happy to see these works. OMG you guys are amazing. 🤝
Wow it looks beautiful you guys put so effort its easy to see that your passionate about your job and making it perfect really professional I wish more builders were as professional and hard working as you guys great job
I just love the work you do! I’m always sad when the video is over. I just want to keep watching, so I watch them over! Awesome job as always!
Haha thank you! I greatly appreciate that!
Or better yet you could approach it like I how I handle my problems in life and just not
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needless to say just BRILLIANT!!! & yes I wish you were closer to me... Happy Holidays
Thank you and Happy holidays!
Wow this is exactly what we want to do in the future. Incredible work as always.
Thank you!
I wish you guys were in the UK. I would love to have you remodel my bathroom. I used to do what you do, many, many years ago. I can’t do it now because my back is ruined. I am always impressed with the quality of your work. When I did it my boss used to say “the difference between good work and great work is the little touches that most people don’t bother with.” Well you guys do ALL those little touches. I wish you great success in everything you do. It is great to see real master craftsmen for a change.
