I’m a fellow driver myself. I do Bris to Perth with the wife every week. I currently blew the motor in the K200 and now I’m in a 610. In about 1.5 months I will be getting a K220. It will seem strange trying to put my foot on an invisible clutch. GKR Transport is who we work for. The wife is the first and only Vietnamese woman Road Train driver in Australia that I know of. Keep it up right brother. See you on the road
I used to use those warmers on the road all the time, I bought the foil trays with lids, pre cook meals, with veg, spaghetti bol, everything…..freeze everything at home and bingo, food on the road that’s healthy esp the way road houses have turned to shit when it comes to drivers health. Used to take about 45-1hr to cook, by 30mins if you don’t label it, you can play guess what’s for tea lol Keep it upright
I got bitten by a bloody kangaroo in the Yunta pub back around 1980 ... all the old guys in there pissed themselves laughing ! I'll never forget that place ... ha ha. Loving your vlogs mate ...
Next time you drive via Next time you go through Tartcutta stop by the Truckie Memorial in the main street. Alan Hancock, a mate from years back is remembered there. Cheers Roger
Suggestion for the food this is what my dad does he gets the chinese food containers and puts the food inside and then freezes them and you can have the meals then keep the containers then wash them out and reuse them but its only a suggestion
Cor , you certainly eat well, keep eating that chorizo, next ur be saying, ole ole, and que pasa tio lol. ur other half keeps you will feed. still enjoying the videos here in ESPAÑA
Gday mate! I’m still catching up on all your vlogs and great to see all your transition. This one is the best one so far and changing jobs was the best thing that could happen for your channel! Can you chuck us a link for your food warmer, it looks a doozy! Safe journeys brother ❤
Hello, thank you for video. Trust all is well. Have we jumped ship again? Seems a realy nice truck. Realy enjoyed this one. Used to travel Moree to Inverell 1972 to 1978. Was known as the crystal highway. A lot of it was one lane of bitumen. Had to move on to gravel to pass. A lot of broken windscreens. Inverell, Delungra, Warialda, Gravesend, known as Tombstone, Moree.
Hey mate try putting your go pro in the cabin of corner.. it gets really awesome views of the whole windscreen including driver window and driver aswell.. i bet everyone would love it
first time here Bro .. wow really appreciate your vid Bro, love what you do. Thanks heaps ehh, keep safe and enjoy them brekki wraps yuuuummm. MORE vids plz
get some aluminium takeaway containers that fit the box , chuck a bit of water in the lunch warmer and put your takeaway container inside , no mess no plastic mate. much better
just letting you know mate the baking issue could be the tucks configured for discs where as you may have drums on your trailers. discs only need about 1 - 2 psi to start triggering, drums can take up to 6, usually around 4 - 5 psi to start. could even be discs on 1 trailer and brakes on the other
Wow Brewarrina hasn’t changed much I lived there 18 years ago I lived with my partner and her mum and sisters there worked in the Roo Res when I was there
used to run semis to broken hill - mildura and back to adelaide. If u ever noticed the gutters in broken hill are SUPER tall haha. dont hit your tyres on them.
I never heard of the shell dramas at boggabilla but was southbound at the hotel from turning right and copped a bullet from the laneway behind the hotel into the passenger side door one night. And that was 50 MTRS from the police station WTF . Keep safe....
Hey bro, Tried to find Vlog #1 did you ever re-post in after you deleted it ?? be awesome to hear you talk about the basics and your journey into trucking....doing a great job... I really like how you post where you are along your travels... great idea and it helps me know where in OZ you are going through.....👍
Hey mate, I’ve been binge watching your channel for a couple of weeks now, I’ve booked myself in to get a HC licence here in Adelaide in a months time. Is there a chance you can go through and talk about the gearbox? Cheers
Thanks for watching brother 👍 just change the gears at low revs unless you’re getting up it then the same for downshifting the best way to learn is trial by fire mate you’ll crunch gears for a couple weeks after that you’ll be sweet. I’ve been driving RR for two years now and I’m still pretty average at it I only put the good parts in the videos lol
@@crossfamilytrucking so in the driving test you just need to know how to use the gearbox? I’ve got in my head the changing through the gears has to be perfect
I can't work out the NHVR maps. According to them Peel St in Walgett isn't a BTriple to 36.5m route, and you're required to go down to the Fox St roundabout; (I nearly knocked down that memorial one night when I missed the bypass westbound in an ADouble), but the signs definitely say Heavy Vehicles To... And a big rectangle around Walgett is removed from the general BTriple area. Sowhat do you do? Obey the signs or obey the map? Damned either way. Yet ADoubles to 36.5m have conditional approval to use Peel St. Go figure! I messaged NHVR the other day coz their maps show that BDoubles can't use the Shepparton bypass. The roundabout at New Dookie Rd on the bypass doesn't show BDouble use all the way around so you would be obliged to exit the bypass. They declined to answer or correct the error.
Out of interest what do you prefer, manual or automatic? (I know you were having troubles with the autos and their gearing but apart from that, if the auto worked better)
Hi bud good to see you again :) how was the trip from Perth to Brisbane the last vlog? ps I got the best news the other week i'm cleared to work again have to start looking again :)
Bro just to let you know that the k200 automatic gearbox is in sports mode , but it’s a secret, and not everyone knows about it. There’s about three different modes does that answer your question?

Bro there's nothing more satisfying than seeing another driver anticipate your wide turn and then you throwing them a thumbs up 👍
42:30 that’s me 😂. You’d be surprised how many people don’t give you any room or wait for you at those 3 intersections
small world bro 😂 yeah they’ve done it to me plenty of times
i do like these truck driving pov in australia
