This one hits different! Welcome back to another vlog guys in this video we start things off a little different by loading up on a farm near Tully up in North Queensland. After that its back down to Townesville to hook back up as a Roadtrain and then plant my foot all the way back to Brisbane as usual. I apologise for the change of mood halfway through the video as i got really sick but pushed through because nothing was gonna stop me getting home lol i hope you guys enjoy this one as much as i enjoyed making it! lets go for a drive!

Mate if you didn't know that they ran triples up there this will make your head spin under PBS there running triples around Sydney now I've seen a few on the Hume and M7 to Eastern Creek
Yep I’ve seen them around Sydney and down the Hume mate they’re B triples though up north they’re full length triples

Headrest camera worked great I reckon. So cool to see the scenery up north, great video mate. If you're looking for more camera angles (I think the headrest cam is excellent) you could try setting up the camera in the bunk. I tried it a while ago and uploaded it on my other channel, it wasn't perfect but with a bit of messing around I am sure it would look good especially in a narrow cab like the SAR. I had the camera on a hardhat, then that was on top of my work bag which was on top of the mattress lol th-cam.com/video/1Cb-c3cPenY/w-d-xo.html

Highlight of Emerald cross-roads was walking across the road to gloria jeans. Was a rare treat in a truck. Showers were always pretty bad though.

So weird, in remebered the hills instantly.. then you said Tully. Been there more then 10 years ago with my wife as a tourist (from the netherlands), by accident we had the slower train from Darwin to Proserpine. Years passed and now i also have my truck drivers license, just as a hobby. Next to my normal job.

There's a quad and a 5 trailer that runs carrots from NSW to SA through Vic
Nah they only run quads on the road mate I’ve seen them that five trailer is just around the farm I think. Not sure how they’re doing it they must be on special permit to run those quads because nobody else is allowed to
@@crossfamilytrucking I've only seen a video of the 5 trailer and I think the quads have a turning range close to a b double so that's how they got it approved there's a video on TH-cam explaining the quad

Good to see you mate. Loving the red truck. You are so right about north Queensland, I so love it up there, if I had my way, I would totally move there. If you are ever in Cairns, my brother has a bakery there, great coffee and top notch food. It's called "Baked on Red Hill" in Woree.
When I worked for TMR in Emerald, I managed a project to rehab that section of highway near Rolleston to improve grip for trucks. There is a particularly steep area that was always flushing up and the trucks would lose traction on it all the time and have to roll back to the bottom and try again.
Geez, seems like a lot of fcking around to get two trailers to Brisbane. Instead of heading out through Charters Towers, Emerald and spilt at Gatton, just run. B Double straight down the Bruce.

have u driven a scania im european and i see this old trucks and think that cant be comfortable to drive them it rattles and looks like from 60s i would use a scania but hey personal prefference
