Old vid but 20:50 ish you would've saved more if you stayed in gear. Would accelerate slower when just coasting but would've used less fuel cuz the engine doesn't need any at all if it's above idle and you lift off. It's most fuel efficient to accelarate downhill and coast uphill, but that's not really doable in a truck most of the time, or when you have a speed camera, or in most cases when you have traffic and don't want to make the people behind angry which makes some people try downright suicidal overtakes sometimes. Also if you don't have 1 piece rubber wipers I'd put silicone spray on the joints for winters. Prevents them from freezing and seizing up not being able to conform to the windshield properly which can cause them to not wipe very well, works for door seals too so you don't have to risk ripping the handle off lol.
Haha skönt att höra att jag inte är ensam med att föredra vinterväglag framför sommar! Speciellt när man är ute och tradar, händer ju aldrig något sommartid knappt så definitivt mer spänning att köra i snö :D
Hey, are there any tips how u can manage to get in sweden truck drinving as a foreign man. Requesting some tips form u sweden guys. Like is here a musst that u can swedisch, extra driver licens? Greatings form austria.
hi man i got a question for you since you are a little more experienced with winter than me, last couple of weeks we had freezing temeratures in the BENELUX and france as well one moring i wanted to start driving but i couldn't because my brakes were frozen, how do you guys up north prevent this from hapening or if it happens how do you solve it?, great video again, keep it up!
Hi! Well if u got water in ur system it will freeze, but if its not too cold and ur truck is running ur compressors air can melt the frozen stuff in there after a while with luck cause the aie gets warm, or should i say less cold!
More pallets, more load weight, easier to mix loads etc so where u can load stuff to small businesses in cities on the truck where u cant fit a trailer
@@Wewols We also use semis, depends on what you're driving. The rigids are way safer in slippery conditions, though, so there's that. Jackknifing one of these is barely a problem, compared to a semi, which will just fold and crash.
Hey man 👋 I'm currently in the process of trying to move to Sweden on a work visa to drive over there for a new adventure. I'm Canadian but currently living in the UK so the move would be from the UK to Sweden. The license here should cover me for quite some time over there. The next step for me is to secure a job. Do you know of any companies who would take drivers in my situation or maybe the company you work for are looking for drivers? I currently drive a pretty new Scania so I don't want some run-down company with old trucks and dirty cabs. Something a bit more private that allows you to have your own truck in the company (A truck that only you drive). Although I probably shouldn't be so picky haha. Thanks in advanced, brother.
Hey man! It’s hard to find a good company in Sweden that will only let u drive alone since the $$$$ in this is so bad, u usually need more guys on 1 truck to make profit! I don’t know anyone as of rn no, but with your background i dont think it should be too hard! Good luck and hope you enjoy Sweden!

Hi bro i am a trucker in Italy but i want to move to Sweden how can i start work there as soon as possible i have all my licences ce and ykb.
Hi! If u’re european i think u can work right away, not sure tho
Am not a eroupean but i have eu long term permit
What do you mean when you say you have a 3.5 consumption? What the measure unit?
Liter per 100 km
@@truckingwithtidstrom i can't get that consumption with my small car. Was that only when going downhill?
No it was average for a longer drive@@utuber52

Crc has Air brake anti freeze, I dont know if that can solve your problem
that means you have water in the air tanks.
@@WEMBLEYNE no i drained them and no water came out

I'd buy your merch, if you shipped to the states. Hoodie would be nice & t-shirt.
Yes sir, noted! Will look into it, thanks! 😃
du verkar vara en trevlig kille, tror du har kört om norr om härnösand i höstas, jag kör for maserfrakt
Hoppas på att vara det !
Jo det stämmer, mestadels Stockholm- Umeå !
Average Swedish moment: 0:03
Very true!
whats the truck of wheelbase? radstand?
I wouldn’t know i drive different trucks all the time
