Ceduna to Eucla was 300 mile of dirt and bulldust when I first went across. 1966-68 something like that. I was too young to drive a big banger back then but, have put a million k's on since. Good video. Bringing back a lot of memories. 👍

Great vlog thank you mate, old KW owner here , in 84 I was driving across the Nullarbor and I met a guy on a pushbike from England, he had ridden across Europe the Middle East India etc. and was going to ride across USA to get back for his brothers wedding the following year in UK.
Now that's mad !!
Raw footage is mint. Love hearing the engine and sounds of the roads. Should invest in a cheap drone for some good outside shots of your rig parked up in nice spots. Keep it up bro

The parking situation in the US is crazy. People die all the time running into semi trucks parked on the shoulder of the highway because there aren't enough truck stops and rest areas. Greyhound buses have ran into them and killed people.
im coming from the US soon gonna do some HC driving and then upgrade to MC roadtrain eventually, if everything works out right

Good to see some new vision, I would love to get to WA one day. That body camera is ok, but often doesn’t show what you are actually doing with your hands. I don’t do FB , they are crooks.. so haven’t seen the other vision.. personally I love that wide cam shot from the pass seat, best of the lot while your moving 😂. Those trailer pads are unreal, what they all should be like. Fantastic video 👍

Love that Nullarbor trip. Done it a few times now. There's some super lonely sections but there's something awesome about that road. Thanks for keep the videos pumping mate. PS: I seem to be a couple of weeks behind you all the time. I drove from Cairns to Gold Coast a couple of weeks ago and am off to Perth Next week, then Darwin. Going to be hiring a mobile home next year with a plan to drive from Perth to Darwin to Brisbane in two weeks. Should be fun. Safe travels my friend.

The rest area you showed at the 26:20 mark is the spot you see all the pics of trucks that are elevated with the ocean behind it. If you're passing there after about lunch time the sun is just right to climb the hill and get the truck with the ocean behind it.

In your opinion do you think the new legend series kenworth is doing is taking something away from the original trucks? I guess no because you can only get the one driveline now and a lot of guys would prefer a cat or Detroit under the bonnet then a Cummins. Another comparison is if Mack australia did a legend superliner. Looks just like the original but a paccar drive line instead of a e9.
