Thanks for actually playing around with the chips! Such a basic thing, but in my search for videos showcasing chip sets, the 2 or 3 i found barely touched the chips, talking about a bunch of other stuff instead of them.
whats your take on the slow play ceramic poker chips? they seem to have a decent design and fairly priced
Hey man! I personally have never handled the slow play chips. The nice thing about ceramic chips is that you will get a lot more designs with them since they are printed onto the chips. If it were me I would order a sample pack from them and see how you like them. See how they feel and handle when you riffle them, toss them in etc.
@DallasLarson40 thanks, didn't know about the sample set. what's ur take on 39m vs 43 mm size chips? I don't see the worth but thought to ask.
No problem! If they don’t have a sample pack on the website usually if you just reach out to them they will send you one. I prefer 39 just because I’m always trying to get as close to casino chips as possible haha.
@DallasLarson40 thanks that's what I was looking for. I read that 43 mm are for high stakes. For the $100 more I might as well put that towards a table. Lol appreciate the video man
hi, im thinking of getting some of the apache chips. how much of each denomination should I get if i want to play with around 5-6 people?
Tournament or cash games?
My rule is get however many of that denomination goes into the next highest chip -1 times 50. Sounds super complicated but it's not.
For example 200 $1 chips, 200 $5 chips, 150 $25 chips, 200 $100 chips, 50 $500 chips and so on. This is suitable for 10 players.
For 5-6 people I would multiply by 30 or 25 instead of 50.
Hi, I've seen monte carlo chips that seem to be a copy of the crown chips in design but for a monte carlo sticker and no dollar denomination. Do you know if these are of same quality. They are sometimes refered to as "monte carlo de lux" or "monte carlo poker room". I prefer the crown look over the monte carlo chips you show here. Thanks for video.
Hi Erik. If I’m looking at the correct ones then yes the crown are going to be very similar to the Monte Carlo ones I show here. They are both a heavy clay about 13.5 grams. To be sure I would order a sample pack of a few different types to find the ones that best suit you.
Are you doing more chip reviews in the future? If so, would you like to receive a sample set from us?
I am planning on doing more and I would love to review your chips!
@@DallasLarson40 nice, thanks in advance!

No slowplay review??
What is the best 500piece chip denomination if I would order 5$ , 10 , 25, 100 and 500, how many pieces each?
Are you wanting to use them for tournaments or cash games?

I bought a pack of 100 pieces here in Japan from a company called "GP Prime Poker". They weight 11.5gr, each and have metal inside as they react to magnets. They feel very nice but I think the outside is plastic.
great vid!
Where you get your shirt?

Will you review Paulson chips soon?
Hey Erik. Paulson chips are the closest you can get to casino quality and in my opinion are the best chips on the market. Unfortunately they stopped selling to the public a few years back which makes them really difficult to find and quite a bit more expensive than some of the other options. So I probably won’t review them but if I could they would be number one. Thanks!
I see what’s going on 😮
The 13g clay is not actually clay (casino clay) but slugged plastic, they are just market as clay incorrectly to fool consumers, China clay is also not clay, they are way closer to composite plastic chip than they are closer to casino clay
I’m sure what your saying is true. Like I said in the video it’s really hard to find chips that feel exactly like casino chips. I am just referencing what they are called so people will know. Thanks for the info!
@@DallasLarson40 the only way I've found was if the poker chips were $1 each or more they're typically real clay.
Unfortunately Paulson who used to manufacture true clay chips for home use doesn't do so any longer they only make for the world series and casinos throughout the US. Classic Poker Chips is the only possible way now but they're really expensive like $2 or more each chip
@@OmnistrikeRZ yeah man I love the Paulson chips. I wish we could get those again.
@@DallasLarson40 Hey I don't do content, would you ever be interested in a collab to review my new table and a new chipset I have as well as an Old chipset I have? I'd be happy to contribute to your channel, I've no interest in ever doing content creation
Any $25 green Milano chips to sell?
Hey Peter, I know in late March thepokerstore.com got a fresh batch of Milanos. Here is a link you can call them and double check they have them. www.thepokerstore.com/collections/milano-poker-chips/products/25-twenty-five-dollar-milano-10-gram-pure-clay-100-poker-chips thanks for watching!

*I like the CHIPCO classics-- they're clean, nice colors, 10 gr., ceramic, not cheap @ .81/ea. per order of 500.*
