- FIRST LOOK: The F-150 is getting some big changes for 2024 from Ford. On the outside you will find a new grill, lighting, gold trim and wheels. On the inside you will be greeted by a standard 12.3in infotainment system, gold accents and 12.3in digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 5.0L V8 that pumps out 400HP & is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor a better V8 truck to BUY than a GMC Sierra AT4?

The coyote V8 seems like the perfect engine for the Tremor.

First thing I did after picking up my Tremor was take it to the muffler shop and throw on a Super 10. Sounds like a dream!

Just tried to build and price this on Ford’s website. How on God’s green earth is that $80K+? Ford really needs to do a price reset. This is ridiculous.

@@kevonwalker8392 no they are not. Even a Silverado ZR2 isn't 70K at the moment. Ram has a 900+ day supply for a few reasons.

Cool truck!! The tremor is one of the best trims out there! You can even get a winch on the front of that truck which would also look cool too on the tremor!! Definitely the best route to go for off roading on trails!

I was super uncertain about the amber running lights for select models at first, but I have to admit, that look is growing on me. I think it really looks sinister to have just an orange glow like that. I definitely prefer the amber running lights over the full white drl now.

Good to see the Blue Oval not totally give up on the 5.0 Coyote! I maybe trading up to that package soon.
the coyote is a high revving mustang engine. Its definitely nothing special in a truck.
I wish Ford kept the gold tow hooks, I will have my tow hooks coated in the orangey gold because that was a sweet look

What a great truck for farm work as well as fun. Love the extra front metal protection, the tailgate door, and that trusty V8 power! For all this, the convenient tech, the excellent styling and comfort, and the years of faithful service this truck could provide, 64000 might not be such an outlandish price.

Had both. The ram is more luxurious and smoother riding. If yiu want luxury, get a ram. If yiu want a work truck, both will suffice but ford will. Be the choice

Overall, Joe, I do like the new design of the F150. I just don't like those taillights. Look too over done for me, I perfer the older ones better.

It’s a dang shame the Torsen Front axel isn’t standard on all Tremor models. Now the only way to get the Torsen is get the higher trim package, for close to 80k.
What makes the Tremor one of the best off the lot 4x4s is the trail turn assist, locking rear axle, and the Torsen front end. If you can’t get the Torsen on the lower trim package might as well buy an STX and use the extra money to build a capable off road truck.
Premium truck for a premium price. If you can afford it and maintain this beast. It will take care of you for a lifetime. Looks rad too. ☮️💙

Every truck manufacturer needs to reduce the MSRP by 10K - 12K.....too expensive.

Nice truck, Ford has all the bases covered for the F-150. Luxury trim, base model trim, work truck, off road, and extreme off road. No other brand has as many trims.

I can find a grand wagoneer for 70k new. I’d pick that over this…obviously a different utility altogether but nonetheless.
I know the eco boost more powerful but love the sound of that v8. I’ll take the less power

Why you haven’t show us the payload and towing numbers, very important information missing ?
You are not in the $64K version. You are in the higher priced version that brings leather interior, cooled seat, heated steering wheel, the fancier tailgate and more. The 401A group is the "standard" Tremor. The 402A is the deluxe version which costs an additional $11,700. Yes it has nice features, but it pushes the truck with destination charge to almost $80K versus $66K. At the $80K price, you are talking base Raptor (but dealers are marking those up). I think the 401A package is a good compromise. It has most of the important features without the really high price.
Thanks for pointing that out. Because i was gonna say with all those features and packages there is no way its 64k. I get all those features on the Ram Laramie and its now passing the 60 to 75k price so if this Tremor is a 2024 with off road capabilities and all these luxeries i say you are right about the 77k to 83k price range

The headlights and fogs are a step backwards from the pre refresh. They killed off DRL strip that ran down.
Ecoboost used to be standard, now you have to pay for it.
Hell, the vehicle animation in the dash is a Tremor on the prior years and now it’s a generic F-150…
2024 is a step backwards from 2021-2023.
Duh, Fords dont blow out Lifters like the GMC’s do drivin off the new car lot.
Old I mean 2005 2010 f150 r very reliable and last long time than new one I prefer getting titan or tundra with their v8 reliable engine

A mast antenna in 2024. Even the wrangler hid their antenna and Rams have shark fins.
At that price point Ford should put a shark fin antenna instead.

It's probably worth just getting the Raptor since the price is not too far from fully loaded Tremor. Also the Raptor has better resale value. It feels like the headlights are downgraded from the previous model!?

Nice truck but the exterior is a bit plain Jane comepared to a GMC Sierra 1500 AT4, that might be a good thing if you intend to do hard offroading like driving through fields of high brush and maybe rock crawling.

I don’t want to spend almost $65,000 on a truck. $20,000 less gets you a single cab, 6.5’ bed, 4WD F150 XL with the same V8, 10 speed and rear locker.
