Awesome Review Joe, keep up the hard work. I think this 2025 Ram is the best looking truck to buy when you go camping or something with the family. Or friends. Super plus....or maybe for off roading doing something fun.
I just bought a 2020 rebel with 26k miles for half the price these new rebels are going for... Buying low mile used trucks is definitely the way to go.
Without even comparing it to the others, this truck has great amenities any driver would appreciate. Not to mention, really good gas mileage and you don't have to plug it in!!!
I have a 2020 Ram Rebel "Executive Edition" (Laramie with 4x4 "off road" package) and it's incredible. It's essentially a Rebel without all the tacky logos. Highly recommend. Tows 10,000+ lbs, 9 inches ground clearance, Full time 4x4 switch, locking rear diff, 18" wheels with Falken Wildpeaks. With the tech package (big center screen) and panoramic sunroof. It's like Mercedes built a truck for half the price they would've charged. Paid 55,000 for it new.
@@BloodAlwaysFindsItsLevel I found the "Off Road Package" is at least a good start. 1-2 inch lift and a whole bunch of other goodies that you get with the Rebel. The Rams that have the "4x4 Off-Road" decal on the side of the bed.
Out of all the off-road trim trucks out there this would probably be the one I would get. But for the price that it is, I might as well go for the RHO.
Nice review. Nice truck. I heard an interview with the head engineer who designed the new engine. They built it basically from the ground up, designed for pulling trailers and long term durability. Looking forward to see how that plays true. I would roll the dice and buy this rig.
I went from a BMW 740i to a 23' Rebel last year, and the interior of the Rebel is shockingly nice. To the point, I feel bad using it for "truck" things.
Hey Joe, let me start off my saying I love the channel and what you Laurie and even Stephen bring to the people. In regards to the new Rebel, I like what Ram has done to the body and tech however, I’m on the fence regarding the new powertrain. We don’t know the long term how reliable the hurricane engine is. With channel like @tksgarage, @Ocmotivato and @buttertheinsider bringing more information regarding the engine, I just don’t know. My personal zonk, I’m not a fan of the Rotory dile shifting. I prefer a regular shift lever like the outgoing TRX and incoming RHO ram. And to nitpick, I don’t like the chrome Ram symbol on the driver airbag, I kinda wish it was blackout with some red outlined to make more unique to the Rebel and body color. I would give this model a 7-8 out of 10. Thank you for all that you do. But I can suspect what a greater spec out Rebel price would be, I personally I’m not interested in paying a high price for any truck especially in this market.
Nice looking truck but I didn't hear you mention skid plates underneath, I did hear offroad tires, steel bumpers and good shocks and lifted and all that is a plus but I didn't hear you say anything about skidplates. Pickup shouldn't be called off-road without skidplates.
Men like V8’s with rubble that just speaks MERICA. I’ve had 3 different versions of the 3.5 ecoboost, they are super quick, but I definitely prefer the GM 6.2 over the smaller displacement, mainly bc they are easier to work on, cheaper to work on and you can always buy a whipple
Wait until gm kills V8 too,Every car manufacturer are stepping away from V8,Dodge,Yoyota did it,So the rest will follow suit,Government are forcing them until they go fully electric or plug in hybrid.

I almost bought a rebel a couple of years back with the hemi in it. The rumble was really nice, but the dealer didn’t want to take my trade which I don’t understand. It was a 50th anniversary challenger scat pack widebody and he didn’t want to take it, you would have to give me too much money for him to make a profit.
I bought a 2024 402a tremor for 75k Canadian. I was quoted 96k for a lvl 2 rebel 🤣. Drove a lvl 1 rebel and the 402a back to back. Bought the ford for reasons you wouldn’t know till you drive them 🤷🏻♂️
Nice looking truck! I generally don't buy a truck for looks though. I'm historically a Toyota guy but am driving a 23 Tremor because Toyota dropped the very reliable V8 (without a proven replacement for hp) and recovery hooks. At 20+ mpg combined, I'll stick with what I have for now. When all else fails, I still have the 02 Taco that is the Armageddon vehicle at 200k miles and no breakdowns (the Tremor actually gets better mpg though).
If I was gonna buy the rebel now, I’d get it with the high output hurricane six cylinder get all that horsepower as I remember I think it puts out as much horsepower as the 392 hemi

I wish they would put drink holders on the doors in these pickups and SUVs. If you have 3 passengers in the back there are no drink holders. Also one at the rear of the center console.
