Chaos giant is unaffected by all spell and traps including your own, limited remover doesn't work but power bond does because it's a summoning condition that's applied before chaos giants continuous effect is on the board, you will still retain the attack boost. A cool interaction with future fusion is that if you successfully summon chaos giant or howitzer with the card, it doesn't get destroyed if future fusion is destroyed
i thing future fusion takes to to much time ... If you have hound by a search you have quickly do a fusion or if you are lucky enough to get powerbond or so you can do a quick otk

OR ancient fairy dragon, pop opp field spell and gain 1000 and sesrch your geartown. P.S. if you chose to pop your geartown, you gain 1000 LP but IF you chose to search a field spell,you miss timing for the geartown that was destroyed. but if you do not search, gaining 1000 LP and geartown triggers in grave happens simultaneously. hope this helps you guys. Sorry been playing this deck online and want to clear some things up. 1. Howitzer's effect is once per turn so the soul charge combo does not work but can work with bringing back howitzer to be destroyed again if you cant use effect of fortress or reborn. 2. The Crooked cook combo does work nothing miss timing i dont know what people are saying about the missed timing thing when the card says when it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard the effect would activate after Crooked Cooks effect ends like usual. 3. I have been running Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf over Cairngorgon due to it has the effect of detach one Xyz material and one machine type monster can attack your opponent directly, (this affects all except Howitzer) and when destroyed add one level 4 machine type to your hand. Food for thought on the last point wanted to add it due to the effect of Cairngorgon I dont believe works well in the deck also wanted to clear some things up for people who have never played gears or dont know what some of the combos or cards do. Also i run triple catapult triple fortress in my deck but that is preference honestly.
I use Glow-Up Bulb and Naturia Beast in the Deck, and it really helps a lot with the Spells your opponent controls, tossing catapults or any other card that could still help by being in the graveyard.
Just as a side note, I've found if you want the deck to be a bit more competitive, you want to be a bit heavier on the back row. The deck (ironically) has nothing it can do naturally to cards like tyranno, so back row helps a lot!
Heavily armored train ironwolf in your extra deck is a a solid card also. Let's one your machines attack directly, (for instance you chaos giant) and if gets destroyed you get add a level 4 Machine from deck to hand. Also I recommend the ultimate pound version of the ancient gear golem because his effects are better

I got that card in a random lot of 200 cards I bought off eBay for like $9 but never knew what benefit this could really have. Hoping this price of this card goes up enough worth to sell once people expand on this combo

Another tip is to use machine duplication to bring out Ancient gear Gadgets and other Gadgets and if you do you can lock out your opponents effects completely

I love the ancient gears I play the ancient gears my brother play the dino structure deck and lossed 18 times in game night at Columbia Tennessee I thought he put up a good fight but he lost to one of the easiest duelist in there
If your a beginner I don't suggest ancient gear decks to begin but they are good trust me I have one that I have only lost like 3 duels with and have won between 15-40
The thing with Ancient Gears is that you cant make a competitive deck with a low budget ×3 Machine Reactor, unlike Dinos who can stand on their own just with ×3 Dinosmasher Fury. You have to get yourself quite a few Maximum Crisis Boosters to get the other Ancinet Gears and Gadgets and dont even get me started with the fusion monsters and Power Bonds

power bond does not help OTK using Chaos Ancient GG, as Chaos Ancient GG is unaffected by spell and trap cards. For it, PB is just poly basically. or did I miss something? Same for howitzer, which is "unaffected by other cards effects."
What about when V.F.D comes out? Run any of the Disaster True king or stick with the reactor dragons??? Because when True King pop gold and silver gadget even from hand it goes off.
I feel like Catapult Turtle would be good in this deck because it gives the deck the possibility to FTK your opponet if your opening hand is Geartown/Terraforming, Ancient Gear Catapult, Power Bond, Limiter Removal, and Catapult Turtle because you can summon a Wyvern from Geartown to search for Box and Gadget and summon a Golem using catapult then tribute your Wyvern for Catapult Turtle the Power Bond into Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem then Limiter Removal, would that work?

Actually it is affected by power bond since it is pretty much an effect that takes place right after the effect succesfully resolves wich is right before the summon of chaos giant
why dont you play Diagusto Emeral and Acient Gear Workshop? white emeral you can put your gadgets back in your hand, and with workshop you can bring box back from your graveyard to your hand and you can activate the gadgets again
Managed to make my ancient geareta and antimeta the the same time. Made everybody mad at magic club cause i pull out chaos ancient gear giany every time. (I usually get two onthe field by using overload and powerbond/ancient gear hound of course)
Can Evilswarms combat against this, or will ancient gear gadget's effect negate ophion's effect making the ancient gears duelist able to fusion summon for that turn
Hey can we get an updates version or do you think this is good as is?! Also I believe that hunting hounds effect is hand OR field not hand and field so it's either the monsters on the field or in ur hands not using both I believe but that's what it sounds like
Im new to Yugioh, so if a monster effect is activated through a normal summon, and then that monster is destroyed, sent to the graveyard, and then special summoned, it still gets it's effects back while on the field? I ask because that's what you did with Ancient Gear Hunting Hound @ 8:11.

Really like the ancient gears personally but must concede how much better the Dino's are. Hassleberry would be proud.

Hey can we get an updates version or do you think this is good as is?! Also I believe that hunting hounds effect is hand OR field not hand and field so it's either the monsters on the field or in ur hands not using both I believe but that's what it sounds like

Im new to Yugioh, so if a monster effect is activated through a normal summon, and then that monster is destroyed, sent to the graveyard, and then special summoned, it still gets it's effects back while on the field? I ask because that's what you did with Ancient Gear Hunting Hound @ 8:11.
