amazing. Wow. loving this vibe of going back to the roots of yugioh. I notice theres no XYZ's and all that jazz, but the deck is still super competitive and has great combos. Reminds me(in a small way) of the days of gladiator beast and stuff of that era. even takes me back to the old school warrior decks with marauding captain etc.
I really think its great that they're coming out and giving more options for playstyles to remain competitive. Not everyone wants to be playing xyz etc. some people want to just play the old school and this at least brings something back in some sort of way

I got the 3 structure decks and I tried out this deck against my friend. We are both trying to get back into yu gi oh and while using this deck I have not lost once. I swarm the field before he can do anything to me. This deck is amazing!

Also, another question....Say "Lost World" is on board and you summon "Souleating Oviraptor." Can you activate "Souleating Oviraptor" effect to destroy the token then chain "Lost World" to not destroy the token and get both effects to work in a chain? Or does one effect, effect another? Like activate "Lost World" summon "Souleating Oviraptor" summon a token due to "Lost World." Activate "Souleating Oviraptor" to destroy their token due to effect and then chain "Lost World" to protect that monster. Since " Lost World" doesn't negate, does just "Lost World" activate or does "Souleating Oviraptor" activate to destroy their token, then chain "Lost World" to protect it? Then you send due to "Lost World" since it's a chain link and then activate "Souleating Oviraptor" next? It is it just one or the other? Sorry if that seems confusing.

I feel the need to point out for other players that Miscellaneousaurus does not stop everything. It only stops activated effects that would affect your dinosaurs. That means you can still easily get warning or striked.
Came back to watch this as i built a main deck out of this with 2 duel devastator boxes!

zach efkeman haha, that alone is a 4k beater. of course you probably gotten through a ulti conducter tyranno and another miscelleno, putting tyranno infinity at around 6-8k half the time xD
Well with that link format that deck is a decent option for budget players.

I love these videos but I wish you’d talk a little bit slower. For a new comer trying to learn it’s hard to listen to this in one go without going back where you go slightly too fast for me. Other than that great video thank you for the guide!

Why would you run three petiteranodons and two babycerasaurus though? The only monster that petiteranodon could summon that babycerasaurus can't is ultimate conductor tyranno, which can't be special summoned from the deck, and it has the added limitation of not being able to attack. Not really that big, but hey, every little bit counts!
try a match between this and the other budget deck please!!!

3 babycerosaurus & 2 petiteranodon is better since we can't special summon anything higher than level 4 anyway and petiteronodon has the added effect that we can't attack with the summoned card which blows.

What if i have dinosaurs on my field and I discarded miscellaneoussaurus from my hand to protect my dinosaurs from card effects, and then I use Dark hole or torrential tribute. Those dinosaur wouldn't be destroy right?

They would be destroyed I think, because miscellaneoussaurus states 'Dinosaur-Type monsters are unaffected by your opponents activated effects' ... so not protected by your own.

Yeah RIP people who wanted to build True King Tyrannos with limited money at this point. Agnimazud is up to 20 dollars and the others are around 5 or 6 each now.

I would rather recommend a Yang zing build. Oviraptor himself is a 1 card Denglong and can almost fix your bricky hands. When combined with 3 terrortop, it's really consistent. Other good options are rank 4 water spam decks, but does have a high chance of bricking

Is it worth having a ultimate tyranno and a super conductor tyranno because if you have soul eating oviraptor in your hand you can special or normal summon it to and search your deck for a dinosaur and put it in your hand or put a dinosaur monster in your graveyard and then you can get rid of Petitrenidon and then special summon a level 4 or higher which can be one of those 2 monsters?
wouldn't it be better to run 3 babycerasaurus and 2 petiteradon instead since you dont run any monsters that are higher than lvl 4 exept for ultimate conductor wich you cant summon from your deck?

Aside from 3x diagram, got a budget of around $100, can squeeze a little more probably if needed. (Not bothered with ban list overall, play custom banlist with friends and no plans to play locals or higher yet.

Add true Kings right now. No need to wait. Everything needed is released already except V.F.D. and Dragonic Diagram. Also add 2 Pot of Desires and Ghost Ashe when MACR hits the stores. I recommend Forbidden Chalice and to cut the twin twisters for Cosmic Cyclone.
Kvion true kings with yang zing cause you make spicy Ultimaya and you get a free crystal wing or beelzee... probably beelzee cause he stops master peace in it's tracks
I want to get back into yu gi oh (10 years ago I used to play XD) so what structure decks should i get, this one, the blue one or the DDD? :/
Am I missing something? Petiteranodon special summons a level 4 or higher monster, with the targets being the level 4s as Ultimate Conductor is the only level 4+ but he can't be special summoned that way. If he's running Petiteranodon for the level 4s, then why not take out 1 copy and put in another babycerasaurus? If someone could explain this to me, that'd be greatly appreciated.
Either way, this is a great deck profile. I recently got 2 copies of the structure deck (I'm poor xD) and I needed a deck profile to start with so that from there I could optimise my deck further with cards I already own. The strucutre deck seemed to try too many things. A bit of banishing, a bit of trying to be the new fire kings, a bit of high-level swarming, and other things so this video was greatly appreciated.
Would this deck be good for local play? If not what would be a better budget deck build.

Hey, so I'm sure you were aware far before I was this deck actually got reprinted recently. Me and my buddies want to get back into yugioh and I bought 3 of this one but your profile doesn't match up with the new banlist. What are the odds of you remaking this video for the modern pleb? My deck building skills are rusty as hell and I'd like to give my friends some sort of challenge.

So would Ultimate Conductor Tyrano's effect affect Obelisk the Tormentor? I know you don't see Obelisk that much in tournament anymore, I'm asking because I do some casual dueling with my housemate and he has Obelisk and we aren't sure if effects that target all monsters on the field will affect him

Don't get it just because it is cheaper. The dinodeck is MUCH better than the gear deck. And it has amazing reprints in it. The gears deck only has Maxx C as a value reprint. The ancient gear decks were 7 euros and the dinosaur deck was 9 euros for me.
So
1. Dinosaurs are stronger
2. Dinosaurs are cooler
3. You can get your money back easier with the TWO amazing reprints in the dino deck (Twin Twisters, quaking mirror force)
4. You can make a legit competitive deck just putting in some cheap True Kings and Evolzar Laggia in it
5. The deck is already confirmed powerful in Japan while the Ancient Gear deck is a tier 3 deck and tier 2 at best
I actually legit cancelled my ancient gear preorder and got 3 dinosaur decks instead, the seller was very kind.
Zero reason to get Ancient Gears unless you are a fan of them.

I have a question for Petiterandon. If I use a card that does something like discard two monster from your hand or field to special summon this, so I discard the petiterandon from my hand. Will the effect of petiterandon work if I destroy it in my hand with a card effect? Or does it only work when the Petiterandon has to be on the field. For example I use twin twisters which does (discard 1 card. Then target up to 2 spell/trap cards on the field destroy them. So I discard the Petiterandon to activate the spell effect, and after that does the Petiterandon effect work? Sorry if I'm not explaining this properly but thank you.

Potato Gaming Get the one that you want the most or more of a fan of. You can just buy the 3 twin twisters online. I liked Dinos more so I picked up that one and yes it does have better staples but just get the one that makes you the most happiest.
Too many duplicates in my opinion. It's nice to have some duplicates but you limit your boss monsters when there's combos out there that can get you Super Conductor Tyranno and Ultimate Tyranno in one turn, then have the power to banish and summon Ultimate Conductor Tyranno. Plus Sauropod Brachion has a dope effect that could save you if you're in a tight spot. Not to mention the limited traps. Duplicates are cool but then you only have 3 types of traps to rely on.
Can we get budget combos... like please? What's the point of making a budget deck if it's combos don't match up to the meta

Obviously, but it's good for the true kings lithosagym to have as a second backup on after you destroy the opponent special summoned monsters

I've a question about lost world.
The situation is as follows.
my opponent wanted to get rid of the token and for this he wanted to attack one of my monster with that. If his token would be destroyed by battle, could I trigger lost world and leaving the token on his side of the field and instead destroy a monster in my deck?
