With the new stuff, frame just becomes a wyvern. Primarily, they're both searching advance. I run 3 of each. Then 3 advance because that's another 1 card starter. Urgent schedule at 3 because it's also a 1 card starter. Catapult at 1 because it's a brick if it's not paired with something. Fortress at 3 because it's a goated card. Tanker at 3 because you burn through those like cotton and it pairs with litteraly anything that has the words ancient and gear in its name. I run regular golem at 2 because otherwise mill decks kill this deck. And every time you go first or can't otk them, you should end with a howitzer on field. When they inevitably attack over it, you use it to special summon tanker which on summon brings back howitzer. Howitzer's effect to special summon is not once per turn, so it's essentially the gold/silver gadget stall that's not only searchable, but better in the way that it'll set you up for next turn.
As someone who plays gears myself, I've found a bunch of really nice techs in the deck, the biggest one being Black Garden. If you'd like me to go into detail about how crazy it is for the deck, I'd be glad to do so.
So, basically, black garden allows gears to go first, and construct an actual end-board. Primarily, it lets you activate ballista 2nd eff turn 1, to summon off a geartown pop, which just enables the deck to crazy new heights. It also allows you to possibly activate urgent schedule turn 1, which is even more advantage. If nothing else, it can also just be a target for catapult if you need it to be. And finally, it also helps going second, primarily by just giving chaos giant a bunch of tiny attack targets.
Just adding 8 cards of new support completely changes the engine. I had to take out so much junk just to make the deck Viable without it being too big. The deck works great at 46 cards , and two OG ancient gear golems , “ just in case your opponent uses called by the grave.
Honestly with the new support playing ancient gear at 60 seems to be the best option as the train engine is still a necessity to guarantee otk s and hand traps or board broakers function really well
Ancient Gears was my first attempt to make a full deck in master duel. Thanks to however made a decklist I found that added Infinitrack Anchor Drill to it, introduced me to Infinitracks and Earth Machines in general.
Hi, the ancient gear commander says you immediately normal summon 1 ancient gear monster, but it doesn't say you get an extra normal summon for the turn. So does his first effect use your normal summon for the turn? I assume it basically means you normal summon a gear golem with no tribute, but theres no mention of being able to have an additional normal summon?
This deck is basically tenpai dragon 😂😂😂being earth machines getting regulus and a wall of fusions going first is cool. Who knew that structure deck from way back would be useful

Vernusylph both extend plays and works later on, for example Vernusylph of the Thawing Mountains to special summon Ancient Gear Tanker, Ancient Gear Tanker's effect to special summon your previously summoned Chaos Ancient Gear Giant. Pot of desires I recommend using as a last recourse, hence banishing Ancient Gear Catapult, Geartown, Ancient Gear Dark Golem and/or Ancient Gear Fusion. That being said, unless you are a terrible gambler you are going to have 1-2 of the cards left, in which case you will still somewhat be able to combo. In the extra deck I am playing a single Chaos Ancient Gear Giant, the theory behind it being, if you are summoning it, you won't be far from OTK'ing. You can play another copy of Chaos Ancient Gear Giant along side, Ancient Gear Hunting Hound to, pretty consistently summon two. Full Armored Utopic Ray Lancer is for ZEUS line, as well as, a card to overlay on Gear Gigant X, Number 60: Dugares the Timeless or Quartet Wonky. I love this archetype; never a bad match to be had mecha punching some fool into the shadow realm.

I fell in love with Ancient Gear the first minute they appeared on screen, and I am very happy that they not only get good support but are also pretty decent nowadays :D I like the way you build the deck, though saying that a "26$" card doesnt make the deck budget friendly while playing 3 droplet, 2 Tripple Tactic and one Thrust (which are arguebly more expensive then a playset of Fortress is a bit of a stretch xD Im luckily bought 3 of the structure deck when it came out so i am safe regarding my AG engine, but the rest is not an option for me xD

I'm a fan of the superheavy engine, i know it can conflict with geartown and stuff but it gives you much more to do going first, can let you make scrap dragon to pop geartown, and the pendulum scales are actually quite useful
Maybe run a copy or two of Time Tearing Morganite. If you aren't really going to be using hand traps and your deck features Bagooska stall an extra 2 summons per turn and drawing 2 for turn would be really good. Especially in Ancient Gears.

You could also summon gitzmek tanigoku and dark golem with urgent schedule and then use effect of gizmek and summon dark golem from graveyard

My only recommendation to this plethora of fusions is the equip: Super Strident Blaze.
