Hello Marie Anne, Great to see you again! I have your shoe shiner, lint roller, nail polish remover, pumice stone, body tape, fabric shaver and goo gone but I’ve changed to lemon essential oil for this. Also, I’m trying out some lint removers that work over and over rather than throwing them away and repurchasing.
With desire to save money and create less waste, I’ve purchased washable cotton rounds, handkerchiefs instead of tissues, cloth napkins instead of paper and my older cloth napkins get demoted to reusable paper towels.
Have you considered trying anyone these reusable items? I hope you share in a video someday!

I used to keep a Kiwi shoe shine in my office desk drawer, great for a quick tidy up before a meeting.
A couple of years ago, I bought myself a rose quarz facial roller with a gift voucher. It's smoothing and cooling. I use it every day and it's become my favourite skincare item.

Nice to have you back Marie-Anne, that lipstick looks perfect on you what a lovely shade, I wasn’t aware Trinney had her own makeup range, will take a peep, the double sided tape is a master stroke especially securing the belts when we have no loops, some of the other products I have which are extremely useful. As a woman of certain age I recommend hydration, tofu, green vegetables, retinol, sunscreen and don’t go wild with bold colours. Flaming orange and red or vitriol green don’t go well with aged skin. But that is rather easy to find out on your own. Especially thick black Mascara, fake long lashes, bold black eyeliner and over painted eyebrows are showing your age more and add a few years on top.
I am older, red lipstick not so good on me , but red handbag yes, red top looks good.
Great to see you back! I’ve always had a pumice stone in the shower too, but now I follow up w glycerin after showering (natural, non GMO, vegetable glycerin super cheap on Amazon!) This has been a life changer! In So California & Maui, I spend a lot of months wearing sandals & the glycerin moisturizes like nothing I’ve ever tried before! 🩷

I'm not meaning to sound negative, but after 50 it does get harder to look good - I used to just throw on jeans and a vest top, a bit of lipgloss, hair in a pony tail and look great - now I have to be careful with everything. This is why your videos are so helpful Marie Anne, they really keep me going when I'm feeling I'm looking a little over the hill!!

We use a lint roller to remove loose fur after brushing our 16 year old kitty. Your doggies are adorable. I love the lighter lip color on you. Love that they are stackable. Two shoe tips that I use: #1. Buy shoes in the afternoon. By then, your feet will be a tiny bit larger, and the shoes will fit well in the morning. Also, when you take your shoes off in the evening, check to see if the polish needs a touch up. If you correct the polish in the evening, you don't have to worry in the morning. This also applies to laying out your outfit before you go to sleep - it makes sure that you have everything in good order and don't have to run around in the morning.

Many years ago i used to use a nail polish remover with sponge. I wind sticky tape sticky side out around my hand to take off fluff etc. i broke my ankle many years ago and now wear flat shoes. Kiwi and Nugget have had polish soaked sponges for a long time.

As always, you come up with great ideas and suggestions. Like you, I'm really passionate about my shoes because I spend a lot of money on them. As a result, I have rubber soles put on the leather soles if the manufacturer hasn't already done so. The shoes never wear out; only the heel tip has to be replaced when necessary.
Great idea, but does it not make you trip? Leather slides better.

@@maryokeefe5351 A thin rubber sole prevents slipping/falling; shoes last longer. Leather becomes slippery with age & wear. Rubber soles prevent you from feeling bumps, cracks, uneven sidewalks, etc. Try it, you have nothing to lose.
I use many of the Korean skin care products , beauty tools and cosmetics for many years . The quality is superb !

Thanks for these wonderful tips and links! I’ll definitely be trying some of these. Other things that I use daily: lint/pet hair remover roller, SPF 30 Strawberry Lipsmacker, a RFID credit card holder (or wallet) , and a overnight spa mask for cold winter nights.

Here’s another suggestion, my feet are smooth as a baby’s bottom because I apply Udder ointment, yes used on cows udders!!! Put it on at night, plus socks and wake up with beautiful feet❤️

Thanks for sharing. The nail varnish remover - I have used this type of product before, the important message is that it may have an impact on your skin if you have sensitive skin or a cut. So, beware! Also lipsticks in a pot - unfortunately, in my opinion, some people need to be reminded - WASH your hands before dipping your fingers in and applying on your lips. You may also end up with “growth and an Amazon forest” in the pot, so use it up fast. I love my “fabric hoover “ to keep my clothes looking like new. Double-sided tape - thank you for the reminder. And for the shoe leather softener!

Fantastic products - I want all of them! In the US, we have a similar product called Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam that you simply rub on leather shoes, bags, belts, etc...to restore it in minutes and make them look like new. It comes in a small round tin with a foam pad under the cover and lasts a long time. Between that and the clothes shaver, my thrifted items look so much better!

That type of nail polish remover has been around for ages
I have ELF lips and cheeks sticks. So easy to travel with. I bought that sweater pill remover based on your recommendation last year. I use it on furniture, too. I bought a battery operated pseudo pumice stone device that I like better than the stone or metal microplanes. Have shoe stretch spray. Need to get the double stick tape now. Love practical tips! Thanks!
Pumice stones used to be all over when I was a kid. Good luck finding them now. We used to have nail varnish remove like that in the US but it vanished years ago. It was great stuff. Soap and water will get the stickers off for cheaper lol

In France, do you have makeup containers recycling process?
In USA, there is Terracycle which companies can partner with to collect their used containers from customers since most stores and municipalities cannot yet handle these.

Marie-Anne, I have a question please. I bought a very nice blazer and trousers set from Old Navy but the blazer has inverted lapel. It's something new to me, never had that style and would love to wear something different. But here I am a bit confused - should I wear the blazer with t-shirts only or I can try blouses as well, or maybe also regular classic shirts. I'd greatly appreciate if you could help me. Marie-Anne, I've been watching your channel for a while and just came across this video. I just have to tell you how fabulous you are and that you've helped me rethink my wardrobe. I have a bolder style rather than a classic one, but I've taken many of your points to heart and have upgraded my wardrobe so that it's more elegant, yet still has a bit of edge. Just a few changes to what I already have, as well as a few additions have elevated my style and I'm getting many complements. I love my new, chic look.
