Bonjour my lovelies, I found similar or same products on Amazon (in the description) so you can enjoy your French products too! Have a fabulous week lots of love xxxxx
Thank you for the nice hint to refrigerate products for summer. I keep perfumes & nail polish in the refrigerator, they last for years so I have the excuse to buy a big variety. Mrs Z
here in brazil it is very easy to find all these products, any good pharmacy has Avene, Vichy, La roche ... Lancome and others in good beauty stores. The biafine has another names, but is the same active ingredient: Trolamine salicycate. We like a lot red lipsstick and red or nude nails, and long nails are vulgar for us too.
Fre’de’rique, Thank you so much for your beautiful help. Sometimes I tear up because you share your “secrets” , do it with truth , humor and from the heart. Of course we need the products, but it’s your heart that makes me want to try something or make a needed change. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
These are all amazing products! My first experience with most of them was when, as a teenager, I became friends with a French exchange student. She taught me all about French beauty, and it’s been a lifelong love of everything French ever since 💕
I spent much of my childhood in France. The first products I was given as a child was rose water and tartine et chocolat perfume. My mum then taught me how to take care of my skin. I now use bioderma, la roche posay, a313 and caudalie on repeat. I live in the UK but swear by my French skincare, beauty regimes and my french way of dressing. I prefer to have less but better quality. I always feel groomed and put together. Vive La France ❤
I am of both American and French Nationality. I have La Roche-Posay Thermal Water in my skin care regimen! My aesthetician showed it to me and I thought right away, “This is is so French!” All my skin care products here in the the States come from my aesthetician so there is also Obagi, Skin Ceuticals, Skin Medica and Alastin. Love the words “Effet Mordu.” Merci pour votre contribution!
Just an FYI - all these French products sold in the US have different sunscreen filters in them than the ones available in Europe (not as good). If you want the originals you have to get them IN Europe or if you live in a border state you can get the good filters in Canada and Mexico. It’s really sad. But I also wanted to say - I love finding a new Frédérique video at the end of a long busy day! It’s like catching up with a bestie!!
I was in Paris a couple years ago and had dinner at the home of my friend's French parents. The mother took me to her bathroom medicine cabinet and showed me the products she uses on her beautiful skin. L'Oreal everything. I've become a big fan. I haven't tried the mascara, but will get some soon. Thank you! This is your best video yet.
Your skin looks great. Love the way French women take care of their skin & body. When we were there I was amazed at how little make up they use & they still look great. They do eat a lot of bread & pastry & still look thin. I noticed they eat a lot of salads , cheese & drink wine.💖🇺🇸 Pamela
L’Oréal has a Voluminous Noir Balm mascara that has a telescopic type brush but it puts kind of a lush soft lash look. It’s WONDERFUL! There is a black and a brown and they are both really lovely. They are up on Amazon..my new favorite!
Very true! One of my fave things to do in France was go to their pharmacies. They have so many beauty products. Men were also purchasing a lot of skincare!
Oooo how i love these tips, i want to order everything! Thank you Frederique, i am going to order some products and i realy love these videos. Please eductate us on French skincare, especially for ladies in their fourties/fifties.
I love Avene products. Especially Cicalfate and Tolerance Control Recovery Cream. Very good for sensitive skin. Typology is also a line that is made in France and I was very pleased with their Squalane/Shea Butter/Hyaluronic Acid moisturizer.
I super love this vlog! I love using French beauty products like Avene, Lancome,Nuxe, Clarins and the perfume of Chanel. All the products you recommended are available here in the Philippines. I feel lucky to have been exposed early in the wonderful skincare products of the French. I learned that to have a beautiful appearance one must focus on the basics which is skincare and use reputable brands for it. It is an investment but all worth it. You dont need to pile on make up if you have a great skin. I adhere to a French girl lazy beauty rule. Red lipstick, nice skin and not so perfect hair. Beauty must be effortless but it requires discipline. Love your content, Frederique ! Thanks heaps .
Ah, Nuxe! 😍 My absolute favourite! I love their sun screen, I use it everyday, especially on the hands and on the face, as a daycream. I mix it with a little bit of foundation (Vichy Liftactiv Flexiteint, n.45 - Doré), et voilá!, I have my very own BB cream 😊
Such a great video! I love Avene thermal water and their spf 50+. By the way, your comment about who tends to wear red nail polish or not made me smile. 😊 I am Norwegian. I do have rather short nails, and I love wearing red nail polish. 😊 Thank you for the great tips and yet another lovely video! ❤️
I enjoyed trying a few of these products from city pharma when I visited Paris in 2019. Came back with a suitcase full. Can’t wait to visit again. I love biafine and embryolice creams
Just got Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse yesterday for the first time & i’m loving it! I currently have Vichy , embryolisse lait-crème & La roche-postay products & i plan to add some more french brands as these have been doing great for my sensitive asian skin 💕
Thank you for the input. I became aware of the Nuxe Shower Gel yesterday through a package gift and fell in love with it. Thanks to your video, the oil is now soaking in. Greetings from Germany and have a great week. 🌹
So pleased to see Nuxe made the top 10! I live in the U.K. and have been using their range for about 10 years…. It has transformed my skin. A great video, thank you 🥂
Oooh, Nuxe! I have been using it for several years. Such a gorgeous fragrance - and so lovely on your skin. There is now a dedicated floral dry oil too (which is pale pink) which can easily double as a light day perfume. I love Nuxe's Reve de Miel body cream/body butter too. Great coverage and very moisturising. What about the Embryolisse Last-Crème Concentré? I use it as a skin primer and also as a masque. Now to source Biafine in Australia 🤔
Yes I love looking like I didn't try to look so good, barely there in the lip, love the tips. You made me laugh when you said that you should probably not put the bottle of spray in the fridge in the winter. ♥️♥️
I HAVE Biafine but i use it for oven burns as i am a pastry chef. I discovered this product whilst studying in Paris. I didn't know i could use it as a mask. That is incredible. Going to try it right now. Thank you for sharing your secret Frederique. I am proud to say i have used products from all the the companies mentioned above except RoC. I am not sure they are a French brand anymore. I think they were bought by an American Company. Anyhoo, my favourite high end French brand will always be Sisley. I use their skincare and haircare and make up too. I love, love , love their products. I will always stay loyal to them. Nuxe honey shower gel, always reminds me of Paris, as i used it religiously when living there. Embryolisse hand cream is another love of my life. Great on the face too esp in winter. BTW Frederique, the mascara you recommended..the Telescopic one, is amazing. Will never use another one. Also last but no the least, you looking exceptionally lover and tre chic in this top.
Such amazing products! French perfume, red lips, red short nails... I love it all! Merci Beaucoup Frédérique for sharing, and helping us all find ways to feel beautiful!
So glad you have Clarins ED in your bathroom ❤️ French pharmacy skincare is more superior than some of the products you can get from department store cosmetic counters and day spas! Avene is so light, and gentle. I trust that brand a lot!
I felt so proud that I had several of these brands. I did a lot of research and found these brands. I have extremely fair skin. These products have brought my skin back to life. I do use Botox on the forehead and crow’s feet. But my skin now looks more fresh and smoother. Half the time I just have to use light makeup on the eyes with a little blush on the cheeks and I am done. I love Pixie mascara in brown. I am a red head and it achieves a more natural look.
Hello! I just found this beautiful channel- how divine! I was smiling so much, I must be French inside! I use SPF, biotherm, Avene, la Roche posay & parfum always! So comforting to know these products & brands are well regarded 💗
Dear Frederique, Love this top... you always look stunning in it! Also, Bravo! I have been waitng for you to stop doing fast fashion. I know it is a process. You have so much to give... you do not need something new every time at all. Thank you for being there for us. Your work is very meaningful to me... especially in these days of COVID.... I send you love and gratitude! Silvia
.... Runs to the bathroom to get the Biafine .... I didn't know that! I have this huge Biafine tube which I bought in a French pharmacy when indeed I had some sunburn, and this is what was advised. Merci Frédérique, I'll take a masque this weekend with Biafine ❤
I use the Avene Thermal water like this: after cleansing I don't dry my face, instead, I spray it with Avene water. After about 30 seconds I apply a hyaluronic acid serum, I like Hada Labo HA lotion. After about a minute, I seal it in with moisturizer. I use the Hada Labo milk or Embryolisse usually. When that has dried down I then apply my spf for daytime, or I may follow with treatments at night. The key is to get hyaluronic acid serum onto wet skin, and then seal it with moisturizer before it evaporates. I think the Thermal water helps to lower the ph just a shade, and it does seem to help healing spots of irritation. Love you Frederique 🙂❤
What a classy lady! Love you Frédérique and your recommendations! The only lines I haven’t tried are Caudalie & the last one (not heard of). I adore Lancôme & L’Oréal - I always seem to go back to them. Thank you very much! 😘
Agreed - skincare is key I also adore the ritual it’s “me” time - can’t go past Chanel lipsticks and many of their other products - Clarins still provides fabulous products at a good price point - I’ll also enjoying quite a few Drunk Elephant products as well as Laura Mercier cosmetics, her translucent powder is the best. Always on the hunt for the perfect Mascara - really loving the Hourglass mascara atm - love ❤️ your channel Cherie’ - just spritzed myself with the Avene thermal water. Something I am never without is the Bioderma Micelleur water
Dearest Frédérique this video is just perfect. I love Italian perfumes like Bottega Veneta or Armani however your Coco Noir is a must have. Thank you for your recommendations French Pharmacy is very popular in Italy 💓
Wow, what a brilliant video! I have just watched for the first time and I am so pleased that I did! Will defiantly watch more. Luckily most of the products are available in the UK.
Oh yes Frederique, Nuxe oil is my most favourite treat to myself. I first found and tried it 7 years ago and I adore it. As you say, the scent is heavenly. It is something I want to spoil myself with forever. And I also love L'Oréal. Fantastic products and pricing. Thanks for sharing. 💐
Discovered Nuxe a few years ago and the fragrance is devine. The oil is wonderful on my hair, only use a very small amount, rub it in my palms and just pat it over my hair, makes such a difference.
Frederique, your choices are spot on! Biafine is magic! I also like LaRoche-Posay Cicaplast B5 Cream. Like Biafine you can use as a mask in winter. Re perfumes, I’m a fan of Chanel but lately I’ve switched to Aesop’s perfumes which have a more earthy, natural fragrance and I find more subtle & wearable. I love yr ‘less is more’ approach. Xxx
My mother gave me my first skin cleanser and toner at 14. It was Vichy and I still use the brand. I got hooked in Lancome with Renergie about 24? years ago and they sadly discontinued ut. I still use their eye makeup remover. Perfume: Chanel No 5, YSL Paris, Nina Ricci L'air de Temps, Cabotine de Gres.
Hello I use many products from these brands, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm Portuguese and here in Portugal we also use Biafine a lot. That is a big help...thank you so much !! Love you🌟 and the channel !! 💖💖💖 from Southern California☀️
I bought Biafine from Amazon the other day, after your recommendation. My 50 year old skin thanks you!!! ❤️

So question, where do you buy your clothing? I have a hard time finding natural fabric quality clothing anymore.
I am of both American and French Nationality. I have La Roche-Posay Thermal Water in my skin care regimen! 100% agree on the telescopic mascara. I keep thinking there is a new and “better” option out there but nope Telescopic is the best!!
you look better than most women who get botox and fillers. natural beauty is the best.

I LOVE NUXE!!! Love to you from an Italian-Australian 👌🏻♥️
Wow that technique of dabbing red lipstick makes a big difference to the look . Surprised Clarins wasn't mentioned. great video thank you .
I use to sell Clarins in the States. Today, I mostly use their body products.

That Avene spray is wonderful! I always take it to the Australian Open for when it’s blisteringly hot and I need to cool down. I love it!
Yet another fab video 🙌🏻 looking as beautiful as ever Frederique 🥰
I love the tip about the lipstick application! Merci!
I have missed these videos. Plus good to know I have all of these in my cupboard :]

Very nice video . I love your tips
Thank you Frederique, loving your videos. I use Loccitane Divine range and it is the best for me.
I will look for Nuxe and Biafine now.
Wonderful!
Love you Frederique 🙂❤

bonne idee!
Hello I use many products from these brands, thanks for sharing your experience.
I'm Portuguese and here in Portugal we also use Biafine a lot.
Biafine has saved me many times from burns in the kitchen, scratches, the redness that I have with age, ...
I always have my tube in the fridge, I always apply it fresh on the skin! The sensation is wonderful and incredible as my skin is so oily, it absorbs Biafine so well, without getting oily.
Biafine is always the emulsion I apply on my face and neck after a summer day spent at the beach or pool (or sun exposure)!
I do biafine night mask 1x/week all year round!
