Very cool! Thanks so much for the breakdown of how to add games to this device. Super Smash TV is awesome, and I loved Robotron 2084 that came before it. It's great that you can use the twin sticks to control the games.
Thats a lot of games. I really enjoy playing. I was playing Dragon's Lair the other day but I think it was playing too fast. I need to figure out if I can slow it down a bit.
I think it a great arcade control panel for my Fighting games because it has the extra buttons I don't like swapping it out on my Atgames Legends Arcade 1.1 machine All the time when you want to play spinner games on the Cabinet.
@@pathfindercast Instructions to Install this & your List set up worked no problem👍 but how do you get the list in the movie mode I'm in snapshots but want to see the saucyness of the movie previews.
@@mamefavoritesplaylists Glad to hear you got it set up and working. To get to the sauce mode and game previews go to the AppStoreX and start the coinopsx from that screen. You may have to install it first. I think it's the only free app in that menu. Enjoy your Gamer Pro!
@@mamefavoritesplaylists that's very strange. On my USB stick all of the videos are in the /cox/video folder. It's a mix of avi and MP4 videos so I don't think type matters but I am no expert here. Hopefully you can get it working. I usually play from the BYOG menu but I did just test launching the coinopsx from the AppStoreX just now and have videos. I wish I knew how to help buddy.
I've gone through TWO of these thinking the first was a fluke but nope. BOTH had had unplayable input lag. Shame cuz it feels very solid as a device. and yes I did full update and yes i tried wired and yes I was using a high refresh monitor and yes i went through official tech support.
Hi. I bought this on sale around pandemic for around $100. I couldn't get the One Sauce package to work at that time (turned out I bought counterfeit USB drive) so I put it away. I just dug it out and installed Saucey using another video instruction. But the package I installed has only arcade games. I want to add at least some SNES and maybe some 3D games (like N64 and Dreamcast). I wish I had limited my first drive to 4GB out of 128GB instead of 16GB (which seems like massive overkill). I like it, but it seems a tad unresponsive. Were arcade games always like this, or is it my system? I'm old enough to have actually played these in the arcades. But maybe I've just gotten spoiled.
Thanks for the comment. There are a lot of emulators and games available on archive dot org if you search for "Chefs of saUCE" or "oneSauce". These devices seem to have quite a bit of input latency and I have noticed that. I switched my firmware over to oneSauce which gave me all of the retroarch menu and settings to adjust input latency, borders, and more. I also made a video on upgrading to oneSauce.
Hi John. I love Golden Tee, that's probably one of the bigger reasons I bought this control deck. With that said, I haven't had any issues with the trackball. Its been a while since I played, so I got it all setup again tonight and after running the firmware updates, I started up Golden Tee 3D and it seemed to detect the track ball. After opening the game, if you click on the Home button, does the pop up screen allow you to adjust the Track Ball speed. I have mine set to Medium. Does the trackball work with other games for such as Centipede?
Nice video showing how to set everything up. I've had the Gamer pro since last year this time(the ole Walmart sale) and last updated to coinopsx v5.3. But I didn't have Sega Sonic game in my collection. Was that part of the chef's new updated coinopsX , or did you make that UCE game file yourself from the rom? ....lol my mistake: I think I found it in this very large 1900+ game collection. KEEP HAVING FUN WITH IT! ( I also added some of my own 25+ uce games from roms, since the Chefs collection was missing a few good ones..eg. Futurespy, Turtles, StrategyX, crash, Zzyzzyxx, swat, submarine, Mad Crasher, Joyful ride, Tank Battalion, Canyon Bomber, Xenon, Invaders Revenge, etc..)
Nice! I did some quick research on how build UCE files but haven't done that yet. I unzipped a few in the current collection just to see how they were made. It's a big collection so I have lots to enjoy before adding more.
@@pathfindercast There is so much potential use for this controller, not just for coinopsX, but also as a PC steam controller, and Mame32, pinmame, future pinball, and pinballFX3 controller, and powerful PC arcade frontends running PS1, N64, Dreamcast, etc. Game play tends to be better & more responsive overall better experience when played on a PC versus the CoinopsX on the Gamer Core. But CoinopsX has the advantage of easy connectivity and presentation on an HDTV. Also there is potential to modify the controller, and add accessories, 4way restrictor gates to play pac-man better, add a usb spinner and connect it to a hub, to play Arkanoid and other games like that, change out the buttons and ball tops for bat top sticks . Though I haven't had the time & money to do all the extra mods....maybe some day... :)...
Hi. Thank you for making this video. Great content! Quick question to ask if you don't mind. Do you know if you can play fx pinball game tables with coinops onto this game pro without using a pc? I would like to use a usb stick with fx pinball tables attach to game pro and play directly from there. Not sure if it is possible. Hope you or someone can shed some light to it. Thank you again for sharing this video. Happy gaming!
Thanks for this video. I think you broke it down pretty well. I do have a question: On the directory for sauces, it shows most have Add_on on the front of them and very few don't. What's the difference? Will the Add_On files work just fine, or do they need to be altered? (I haven't tried it yet -- I'm just asking in advance, because I found it odd.) Thank you!
Hi, I would not download those files. Search the reddit FansOfSauce reddit community for the "CoinopsX Arcade Version 5 Is Still Alive saUCEy Edition" posts and review either the full or fix only builds depending on what roms you have.
Nice! I want one of these.
this is a must for people who don't want to fuss around and create their own. for a $100 is quite reasonable. wifi controller is awesome!
awesome deal
I agree!

Have the single one with over 4000 games and I wanna add more lol ! I love it !

I could not find any UCE files for the fx pinball. I think the only option is to use the arcade controller connected to the pc.
