    I just got this from an online store, ordered it today. My current place I just don't have room for the big cabinet or the mini. I figured this would be a great way to play this on my PC setup I have and just move my kb out of the way when wanting to play. Thanks for the great review!

      That’s great! It’s perfect for your scenario. There is literally nothing the cabs do that the Gamer Pro can’t plus you can find hundred of new games on PC that play well on it. Glad the video helped.

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey C Mag, interesting issue. Not 100% sure what’s up, but have you tried plugging the Coin Ops X usb directly into the Legends Core and using the the controller in Bluetooth mode to see if it works? I know in Bluetooth mode there is/was an issue with the back button exiting Coin Ops but the controller should work otherwise. That way you can start to remove items to find the real issue.

    Hey nice video ! I own a legends gamer pro with coinops x. I was trying to figure out is there a way to make favorites list of games on coinops x ?

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! find the folder on your coinopsx drive named cox
      open the playlists folder and add a new file 0 - favorites.txt
      open the playlist_art folder and add some art for it
      You can then just add games to the list manually, or by pressing Y on the ALU

    Can I use the ALU deck with the Legends Core? Does the ALU deck have Bluetooth to connect to the Core or do I have to buy the Gamer specifically to make this combination work? I have the ALU so it would be great if all I had to do was get the Core. Thanks for your great content!

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Andrew, The ALU 1.1 deck works the same way that the Legends Gamer Pro deck. Both have the same inputs on the back of the deck and both have Bluetooth, which you can turn on/off by pressing and holding the P2 start button on either deck. The legends core will work via male -to-male USB or Bluetooth with the ALU 1.1 deck.

    Mine worked but after I connected it to my computer it stopped connecting to core. It still works with my pc but does not even work with core even if using the usb cables.

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason it won’t connect to your Core with a USB cable is because Bluetooth take priority once it’s paired to a device, either PC or the core. If you want to use it via USB with the core, you need to press and hold P1 button for 3-5 seconds until the blue light by the power button turns off. Then do the same for P2. Once the blue lights are off you can hook it to your core via USB and it will work.

    How do you feel those arcade sticks will hold up to some old school fighters?

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What’s up John! They’ll hang in there, but you may want to replace the springs with something stronger. I believe the AtGames products ship with like 2 or 4 pound tension springs on the sticks. I like 6lb springs, so both the Legends Ultimate cabinet and the gamer pro have been upgraded to 6lb, and it’s simple to swap.

    • @chaseman94
      @chaseman94 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FactorofGames I wanted to add a 4lb spring to my legends gamer mini arcade stick but I couldn't get the c clip off to swap it out. I think I have a newer one because it came with a octagonal restrictor gate.

    Thanks for posting however I'm discouraged. My gamerpro won't work on my ALU when I play games directly via otg (doesn't recognize LT or RT only recognizes 6 buttons) or streaming via byog (the controller doesn't move at all when on Steam). The gamerpro works fine when not attached to the ALU. Atgames community tried to help via TeamViewer but no luck as of yet... Any suggestions please?

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Willy, try this. Hook up your original ALU deck to the ultimate and power it up. Then make sure Bluetooth is turned off on the ALU deck by pressing and hold P2 until the blue lights by the power button go out. Then turn your gamerpro deck on without it hooked to anything, just running on the battery. Make sure your Legends Core (the puck) is turned off and unplugged; it can’t have any power. Then on the Gamerpro deck make sure Bluetooth is on (you should see the two blue lights blinking by the power button. If you don’t, press and hold P2 until you see them blinking.
      Once you’ve done all this, then go back to the ALU, go to settings, go to advanced settings, go to Wireless Pairing and hit refresh. You should be something like Control deck - P1 and Control Deck - P2. Select Control Deck - P1 and click connect. Your Gamerpro deck should now be paired to the ALU via Bluetooth on player one. Give it a minute and hit refresh and do the same thing for player 2 on the Gamerpro.
      At this point, you should be able to control everything on the ALU with the Gamerpro. That includes your Steam pc via BYOG and it should be configured as an Xbox controller. You can shutdown the ALU, hook up the Gamerpro and power it back on. Make sure Bluetooth is still on when you power it up and you are good to go.
      Good luck

      @@FactorofGames so your instructions worked to a T (thank you for that) but the control deck still wasn't recognized in BYOG other than pressing the home button to exit so just to confirm I reconnected the original deck to the ALU and that also wasn't recognized in BYOG so I think I have a brand new bad unit that I'll have to return. Thx for the help and the content FOG 💪

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Willy, glad your getting closer. Have you tried configuring the controller in Steam? If not, you may want to try that as well.
      The first thing you’ll want to test is if the trackball is recognized on the Steam PC as the mouse when you connect via BYOG. If that’s the case then all you need to do is go into the Steam settings and configure either deck in Steam, basically you just mapping the inputs that Steam understands to the buttons on the deck.
      Ultimately, if the trackball won’t move the mouse then there is some issue beyond just configuration.

    • @willyjakkz
      @willyjakkz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FactorofGames yeah man unfortunately it's a deeper issue because the trackball doesn't register and move as well. The only time either deck functions is when I press the home button to change display, latency, exit byog, etc but not actually once on Steam and I have Steam controls setup for Xbox. It works great with the puck no issues just ALU.

    • @FactorofGames
      @FactorofGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Marcelo, I’m not 100% certain in the Super Console X. I don’t own one personally, so I can’t test it. I don’t believe I’ve seen a Key Mapper for Android before, so that would probably present a problem with it supporting Android based devices in terms of plug-n-play. It takes Steam (or JoyToKey) to remap the keys in windows. I’ve tried connecting it via bluetooth to an Apple TV, and it wouldn’t recognize the button presses, which is not a huge surprise since Apple has limited controller support options beyond Xbox, Playstation and MFI controllers.
