- We had the pleasure of having Muay Thai Legend Saenchai along with other fighters from @yokkaoboxing team in town for an epic seminar. During the course of the seminar i was able to get some touch sparring in with the man himself, Saenchai!

It's crazy seeing how small the martial arts world is. Saenchai, Wonderboy, Icey mike and Sensei Seth in a single vid. Good stuff, wish I could've gone.

Love WB -Hes the man, but Saenchai is a different level of striker..along with a lot of Thais. I'm sure WB would also admit this
One of the pillars of Wonderboys success is his humility. He's a forever student. He is a legend in his own right but when the opportunity to learn comes, he falls right in line with the other students and listens to the master. No ego. Doesn't drink his own kool-aid...there's a lesson there!

How Saenchai gets that power level on the testing machine when he looked like he put no effort in to the kick is incredible. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast!
I think MT kicks are stronger than kickboxing/karate because you use your legs as a club instead of chambering it
They always say technique does 60% of the power speed does the 30% and the rest is where strength come in
He got that grown man's strength, dude's 40 something yo lol
U guys have to see the SIZE of the thai boxing bags they use in Thailand. It's not what they have in the US gyms. It's like huge!

My son is 8 years old. He took that seminar here in NC. He’s been doing muaythai for five years now and Sanchai is one of his favorites. He was the nicest guy. He used my son in one of the throwing demonstrations and let my son throw him. It was absolutely amazing

Lol I can’t get him so slow down. He trains Muay Thai , jiu jitsu, wrestling and mma. He has a coach for each art. He trains every day including Sunday. Last week he competed in Atlanta. Next week he competes in Lancaster, PA. And next month he’s fighting his first match in the octagon at Fight For It in Charlotte NC. @@keckchan7156

Your dad roasting Seth mid-sparring might be one of my favorite things on TH-cam.
Senchai's humour, friendliness and humility is genuine but he's an absolute monster in the Muay Thai ring. There's not too many times or recorded fights that showcases his mad ability and skill when he gets really really serious against opponents that pissed him off but he transforms into a complete wrecking machine. Most of the time he beats his opponent by superior skill and timing making them look amateur. Very rarely do you see him go full berserk mode.
Truly a real all time great in the Martial Arts world. I feel completely privileged to have met him during his time training in Phuket.
any available fights you recommend? IIRC it's hard to find decent footage of Samart as well

And he only got KO'ed twice or thrice in his entire fighting career. He's not a man, he's a machine.
Saenchai only got Ko’d once in his life, at age 15 fighting 24yo thongchai. Fight is on youtube somewhere

A Saenchai trained Wonderboy is exactly what we needed in our lives
had a pleasure to participate in such seminar in Poland few years ago. Saenchai is just next level. Such a cool guy+fighting beast at once . Hope to train with him more in the future; awesome to see how much fun can martial arts bring to y'all folks

I loved all the technical knowledge in this video, but what really stands out to me is how Saenchai is just having so much fun with it. He's an absolute weapon when he wants/needs to be, but he's full of respect and so down to earth, and between Saenchai, Wonderboy, Seth, and Icy Mike, the joy just radiated from the screen. I loved all the little reactions and jokes during the sparring. So happy you all got together with Saenchai, this must have been a unique experience.
I loved how the sparring was very light and playful. No egos. Just martial artists having fun and a few laughs which sparring an absolute legend
What an amazing experience this must have been. You can seriously hear in his voice how enthusiastic Saenchai still is about the fight game even after devoting his ENTIRE life to it. That's not just the mark of a true fighter but of a warrior. Congrats to WB, Iron Mike, Sensei Seth, Big T, Papa Ridgehand & everyone else who was lucky enough to get instruction from likely the best Muay Thai fighter ever!!! Now you gotta get Buakaw to come through 🤘🤙👊
I'm shocked how easily amazed wonderboy was with the clinch work, would love to see him delve deeper into muay thai considering he's from a karate background

Just this Thursday I was participating in a seminar by Saenchai. We went over quite a few of the same combinations so it’s awesome to see it here again and refresh that technique. It was an amazing time Saenchai is super nice and his crew is great. It was a wonderful experience.
I watched the whole thing with a big grin on my face.2 legends with great humility.

The thing that i love the most is the fact that Stephen showed us this like a regular train session. A thing that I, a newbie in Muay thai already experience.

Saenchai is a living legend. His techniques looks like it has karate/taekwondo influences
It's also possible that as technique gets more and more efficient and streamlined, it starts to have the same form, which is why his muay thai might look similar to karate or tkd. To me, a lot of elite striking looks very similar.

2 of the most likable and dangerous fighters under the same roof. It's great to see the different styles at work and how each fighter reacts to things. Love watching both guys, just in awe of the ability and experience, and power they both possess.

I had the pleasure of doing a Saenchai seminar back in 2019 a few months after I started Muay Thai. It was an incredibly fun and informative experience even if I wasn't yet capable of doing a lot of the things yet. The man has such an infectious love of martial arts very similar to Wonderboy himself. Great to see the energy they have together.
The collab we never knew we needed. This was so good that I didn't even realise Seth and Icy Mike were in the vid until the sparring at the end. Never knew Saenchai could even speak English and he spoke pretty well! First time I've heard him speak English.
