I am sorry about your experience with the wildfire, how scary, truly!
I love both your "framed" sweaters, very cool colors. 👍
Uncertainty. My husband was just diagnosed with Parkinson's. I have had to quit my job and become his full-time caregiver and advocate. He has been admitted, into ICU, six times since March 12th this year. I have few precious moments for self care each day and I use that for knitting, cooking and (gasp) housecleaning. Those are my anchors for now. I am sure as the disease progresses I will lean into other anchors.
@@RuthannH thank you for being uplifting, I truly appreciate your support. ❤️ and, I appreciate you sharing about how you are currently facing adversity. I am inspired by your resilience in such a difficult situation… I can only imagine how you feel daily. A loved one’s health is so precious. I am holding space for you and your husband in my heart. And I am glad you find moments to take care of yourself… keep doing that!!! ❤️🩹
@edmistoncreations Thank you. On the REALLY positive side, I laugh when stressed, so there's lots of laughter. We have either good or great days, no bad ones, and each day is an adventure. Not one we would have chosen, but we're in it together, and that's what really matters in the end.
@@RuthannH I couldn’t agree more! ❤️💯
I'm so glad that you and your family are well. After the fire and you returned from N.C., were you able to visit the house? I can imagine there was smoke damage but maybe you were able to retrieve more things? Like your son's favorite Halloween board book? I'm curious, what book was this? All the best, going forward. (Btw, your athletic background is SO impressive.)
@@shamszakhour6076 First, thank you for your support and for the kind things you said! ❤️🩹 We were able to check on our house, but couldn’t be in it for very long without getting a headache or not feeling well because of the smoke damage. For that reason, we have not taken items from our home so they could be cleaned or replaced properly by a professional company that does that sort of thing.
I still have not found my son’s board book. 😢 I hope to find it when we can get back home, or if we have to replace it, order another. I tried to look it up but I can’t remember the title of the book, just the “story” my son would read out loud. ❤️🩹
Thanks for sharing ❤

I really prefer knitting in the round. Is it possible to do this w,framed sweater,& if so, can someone help me w/ some tips? Thank you! ❤
@@eirecoleen Hi! I also prefer colorwork in the round, so I understand your hesitancy! Andrea has talked about on her channel that you could add steek columns for the armholes if you prefer to knit this in the round. I would not be able to give specifics on how to do that, but if you’re experienced with steeking and feel comfortable modifying the pattern to knit in the round then I say go for it!! ❤️ you could check out Andrea’s TH-cam for more details on her feedback if that helps! Can’t wait to see your Framed. 💃🏽
I love your dress!! Was it hard to make? I love layering pieces like that.
I'm glad you and your family are safe.
@@nicolepantojas Thank you, Nicole! ❤️ we are fortunate to be safe. The Orchard’s Dress is not difficult, I would say. You need gathering skills, know how to do buttonholes. The collar can be a little fiddly… but just be patient and follow each step one at a time and you’ll be good to go! I hand sewed some of the inside of the collar down also, where my machine wasn’t catching the folded under seam allowance.
@@edmistoncreations when you buy patterns online, are you able to print them, or do you use a projector? thanks for the info!!
@@nicolepantojas I have them printed using PDF Plotting… I’ll link the website here.
