AHA BHA PHA Basics | Skincare Summary

Hi there! acidic ingredients have been a game changer for me and I wanted to share with you the general differences between Aha, Bha, and Pha. All these acids are great exfoliators and help with uneven skin. I didn't include any examples as there are too many on the market and some have a mixture. I will say that the more gentle products can be found in Korean skincare and you should do your own research to see what products will work best for you.

Hi! I would honestly consult with the dermatologist as acids are bit trickier to say for young skin. I know the glow recipe is trendy right now but everyone’s skin is different and can react differently to certain ingredients.

According to Google, 16 is a good age to start physical exfoliants as it can be too harsh for younger skin. Also make sure to wear sunscreen daily. Hope that helps!

All three acids can reduce pore size but the type will depend on whether you skin is more sensitive or not. Perhaps try an AHA?
