Homs theater dude i have klipsch setup Rp 260f, Rp 440c, & Rp 240s powerd with yamaha aventage 1060 amp. What would you recomend me should i go for klipsch dolby atmos 140s or svs prime elevation. Also tell me what is the best placement for these speakers. Front walls or side walls or top of the speakers?
If SVS prime about 200 a pair, would by 4 for atmos setup 400 a pair for atmos speaker is way too lot , and for such practically under-utilized speaker
That Home Theater Dude I might wait till Black Friday and change whole game room set up to all SVS.Will be watching your setup grow and your opinion’s on them.
This is my second demo with the ultra series and I am truely amazed about how good they sound. I was only able to stay for an hour the first demo, but I was there for 3 hours this go around. I seriously cant get enough of them. The precision and clarity is unmatched and the definition is perfect. I really have a bunch of soul searching to do cause I have a big commitment of 11 channels of klipsch in the house.
Thanks for the info. I ordered the klipsch ones. I thought they could be for my surround backs but then I watched your other video. I'm guessing they're just good for atmos heights. Because my onkyo receiver does atmos. So it be okay to keep the klipsch for heights and the svs for surround backs? THX =)
Thanks for this series of videos. I'm been looking at the Primes mainly since I'm wanting to build an Atmos environment and I cannot do front and back ceiling speakers due to the fact that my ceiling is high (12 ft) and my couch is only 2 feet from the rear wall (the angles aren't suitable and the couch used to be against the wall...I can't move it out much more). So I'm looking to do a single pair in the ceiling and a pair of Primes in the front height position for a 5.1.4 configuration (and eventually 7.1.4), Now I just need to hear what you think of the sound quality. Also, it looks like the speaker brackets aren't adjustable for angle. Since every customer's room is different, I'm sensitive to trying to aim these things at the main listening position properly while having them as high on the wall as possible (about 11 ft up). Of course I guess ceiling mounting is possible too. I think SVS told me the angle of these units are about 27 degrees?
Pretty close to what I got 22 degrees. I hooked em up and did a quick comparrison bewteen the klipsch atmos is a bookshelf placement and the sound difference is immediately noticable. Tweeters are less harsh than the klipsch horns and the mid bass is much more pronounced cause of the abililty to hit down to 55hz. Buy em and get the optional celing mounts for best sound. They have a slight gap between the mounting point and the back of the speaker so the port can dispurse onto the ceiling filing your space with more pronounced bass notes. The idea to use two for front heights is a good idea too. I just haven't mounted them to make the comparison yet.
I have the Klipsch , my brother in law has the SVS the angle is different, I hang my Klipsch in the side walls and they point at my, the SVS do not. Can you check if there's any way to install the SVS bracket on the Klipsch, I would love to mount them on the ceiling.
yeah for sure. I had a really good room to showcase the upfiring, but i never believed the effects. Its easier just to put a speaker in a space and create a more realistic sound stage
I teated them out yesterday. the video is coming soon. The sound from these little guys in unrea! Highly recommend them. Especially since they are so versitile.
Graham Oliver yes but I would say they would be limited to the frequencies that it is capable of. I had them crossed over for a video I just did and they sounded pretty good playing music tracks. Ideally I would say get some cheap bookshelfs or satellites and mount them no more than 2 feet above your ear level. These klipsch are a little expensive.
The svs logo is magnetic so what ever position you mount it the svs on the speaker grill will be right side up. Cliff Clavin ,signing off.
Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Thanks Cliff!
Hi which is best Dolby atmos speakers to buy. Thanks.

Svs prime elevation for me.😊👍
Me too ULF

400 a pair for atmos speaker is way too lot , and for such practically under-utilized speaker
not true. these are some of the cheapest atmos/heights/on ceiling speakers out there. even the klipsch in ceilings cost 299/399 each.
Hi can you tell me the difence on Klipsch RP-500SA vs KLIPSCH REFERENCE II R-41-SA Please ?
so if i have all kef speaker......which should i go svs or klipsch? kef are too expensive for dolby atmos 700 a pair.
So going full SVS?.Im a Klipsch guy but I’m sure those SVS speakers sound badass
Dukeoden7458 I’m a klipsch guy too but these Svs guys are really making a name for themselves. Give em a try and you might join me. Haha

How did the Demo sound ? I went to one in Wayne NJ and the sound was excellent, they were playing the new series 4000 subwoofers.

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude do they sale the svs in Pairs or single

Give the SVS time to break in too, they sound better overtime.
I wonder how the Kef Q50a would compare to this if used for side surrounds?

Thanks. BTW, I think the felt backing on the mounts is to minimize metal-to-metal vibration. And are you sure it's 22 degrees?
pretty sure, but my gear is old. Trust svs though. I'm just a goofball with a protractor
Bro I wanna buy Dolby Atmos which brand should I go for
Svs support Dolby Atmos 5.1 speak rs
either can be used.

I can try.
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude
Did the mounts end up working on the klipsch?
And SVS stuck a rear port in that thing??? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I like the look of the klipsch. Liked and subbed.
Good looking out. Maybe i can demo one of your trailers through the syetem. Do a collaboration.
I’ve had both and the SVS height is far superior to up firing.
yeah for sure. I had a really good room to showcase the upfiring, but i never believed the effects. Its easier just to put a speaker in a space and create a more realistic sound stage
Sad I can’t go SVS I have a whole set of klipsch speakers
danny McBrown just sell them lol
Me too buddy. All 11 channels are klipsch. Gonna be a THTD yard sale soon. Hahahaha
That Home Theater Dude ikr but klipsch is great tho but can’t beat svs
My main speakers are klipsch and my heights are SVS, they sound fine together.
I need a set for my rears to complete my setup. Leaning towards the svs as I have a PB2000 sub.
I teated them out yesterday. the video is coming soon. The sound from these little guys in unrea! Highly recommend them. Especially since they are so versitile.
Can you use the 140s as surround speakers. Mounted above ear level and fire down?

That Home Theater Dude thanks. The other options Im considering is ceiling speakers or the 240s
240s get my vote. I really wanted those besides the rp-160s
That Home Theater Dude thanks heaps. Lets hope its enough to convince the wife 😂🤞
But how do they sound?
I made a couple of videos comparing the two. one with the wife and i listening to both of them through atmos, dtsx and auro3d codecs
Down firing the tweeters and woofers are inverted between them svs and Klipsch
MrSuperman258401 you right my friend.
Unfortunately, only on the elevation speakers
Svs i want to put on celing
Not really a comparison as there was nothing played through them - sorry.
I wish I could hear you
Who makes a better speaker for music!? SVS or Klipsch
i dont know. depends on what you like to listen to
yeah,ported to the wall,nah
