    So excited about these doughnuts Joanne! They look amazing! And so pretty with the strawberry glaze. Love how that was created with fresh strawberries :) You've also convinced me to buy a doughnut pan! Although that could also be dangerous! LOl! :)

    Hello! I recently got a donut pan and I was searching on TH-cam for a recipe and found yours and I thought I should try it.I made it for my boyfriend and I today for breakfast and I have to say it was so fluffy and tasty! I didn't have strawberries on hand so I made it with a maple glaze instead. Thank you for the wonderful recipe! : )

    just made these and they are amazing but taste more like cupcake/cake rather than donut. Thanks for the recipe!! Will make more in the future

    Im actually really looking forward to trying these out. Ive smashed out some doughnuts before, but found they were a little heavy, and lacked the 'fluff'. In saying that I didnt use a doughnut tin.

    Hi, what is the difference in the taste for the doughnut baked and fried? I haven't tried a baked one before. Is the texture bread/cake like or really like a normal doughnut? Less greasy for sure!

      Sure, but try to use a mild or light one, so the flavor isn't too strong. Enjoy!

    Seems as though its more of a cake doughnut rather having the actual doughnut consistency @2:50-2:55, you can see that it doesn't hold like an actual doughnut. Although I do love the glaze! Beautiful Idea.

      Hey Ralph, Oh I know, it's a constant struggle! That's why I bought the 6-well doughnut pan instead of the 12-well. Otherwise I would eat all twelve, haha.

    I'm super disappointed with this donut recipe. It was so cake light, almost like a cupcake texture :( if extreme spongy donuts is something you would like, go right ahead with this recipe. If you're like me that likes dense donuts, this is reeeeally not for you :(

      +Aizsa Wong You want dense you use butter or coconut
      oil instead of liquid oils!
