I recently got a donut pan and I was searching on TH-cam for a recipe and found yours and I thought I should try it.I made it for my boyfriend and I today for breakfast and I have to say it was so fluffy and tasty! I didn't have strawberries on hand so I made it with a maple glaze instead. Thank you for the wonderful recipe! : )

Hi, what is the difference in the taste for the doughnut baked and fried? I haven't tried a baked one before. Is the texture bread/cake like or really like a normal doughnut? Less greasy for sure!

Seems as though its more of a cake doughnut rather having the actual doughnut consistency @2:50-2:55, you can see that it doesn't hold like an actual doughnut. Although I do love the glaze! Beautiful Idea.

Hey Ralph, Oh I know, it's a constant struggle! That's why I bought the 6-well doughnut pan instead of the 12-well. Otherwise I would eat all twelve, haha.
I'm super disappointed with this donut recipe. It was so cake light, almost like a cupcake texture :( if extreme spongy donuts is something you would like, go right ahead with this recipe. If you're like me that likes dense donuts, this is reeeeally not for you :(
