Ahh chocolate marshmallows sounds amazing, good idea! :D I would gradually add 1/4 of cocoa powder once the marshmallows are all whipped up after the 8-10 min. And thanks, you're so sweet! :-)
***** Heh. chocolate-covered it a good substitute. But I'd still like to know. I'm assuming we'd use cocoa powder and add it to the dry ingredients but how much??
Heres an idea for Adventure Time fans: Add some red and blue colouring to your mix Cut the marshmallows like Lumpy Space Princess shape. Add the star on the marshmallows LSP marshmallows , very lumpy
As a great cartoon once said *''If only I had the moneeeeeeeey!!''* Also this is great for when I can get the supplies because I'm known in my school for my great cooking skills and being able to draw anime. SERIUOSLY MY WHOLE CHOIR LOVED MY CANDY >W
I just made the basic version of these! Awesome recipe. My batch whipped up super quick in my stand mixer. I did end up having to boil the mixture for more than one minute to get it to reach the proper temperature. If anyone is attempting this one (almost two years later) you should totally invest in a thermometer. I used my digital probe and it worked perfectly. When finishing these with the powder blend I did half of them with the powdered sugar/corn starch combo and the other half I added a teaspoon of nutmeg to the mix. A tasty tweak IMO. Thanks for this recipe! I can't wait to try some flavours as gifts for the holidays.
Hi your marshmallows look perfect!i want to make them at my sons birthday and i wonder if i can put on some food coloring so they'll be blue or green accordingly the colour i want.thank you!!!
Very good recipe. Your tutorial was concise and delivered clearly. I also liked that you include the recipe in the description. This is so helpful. It’s frustrating how others make you visit their websites and hunt for the recipe. Thank you!
Hey! This really helped me a lot... I just made it and it's setting now.. mine only took 5 minutes to whip up (I halved the recipe) and also it's setting already! I love your channel and your creations! Keep up the fabulous work! I have always wanted to make Marshmallows and I took your suggestion of making coffee flavoured ones! Thanks!
I don't usually leave comments but these marshmallows are super fluffy and delicious, the recipe was really easy to follow and they turn out just like the picture. I've made these twice and will continue using this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
OMG!Memories:3So long I haven't watched this vid😅Then today I was craving for marshmallows and I saw this vid and sooo many memories from this channel's past:3
im totally making these..the regular ones, only im using a bigger pan to make them not as thick..we do a lot of backyard bonfires, especially during the fall, and these would be amazing..thanks for posting, cant wait to try
Sadly I watched much videos where they make marshmallows and some of them also tried it with agar agar, and it does not work the same because the consistency of agar agar isn't hard like gelatine. :(
FantasyGarnet i never used agar agar to make marshmallows so i dont know, but with other desserts it always worked. maybe you just need to add more of agar agar to make it harder?
You'd probably just wanna try a totally different recipe that's designed to work with agar agar, just to be on the safe side! Don't wanna waste any ingredients in case it doesn't turn out.

I made them just yesterday and they are delicious. They taste so much better than store bought one's.Everyone loved them. And I used an electronic hand mixer. But ITT needs some flavour because it smells like gelatin. But overall the experience was awesome.😘😘😘😘😘thank u so much.
Love this vid! They look delicious I want to make them! I made them a while back.I kinda failed lol, I followed the recipe but my pan and stove burned to sugar mixture but in the end I had the fluff. But it was nothing like yours! I'm going for attempt number 2!!!!!😊
it works with Agar Agar but it's way different. there are a few recipes out there and you should check them out, otherwise you will have a big, worse tasting, falling apart gummy bear
mmedeuxchevaux maybe use agar-agar but make sure to use just half the amount because agar-agar can make it a lot more sturdy than gelatin so you wont get the same texture if youre using the same amount. and try to soak the agar-agar in warm water first cause agar-agar needs a higher temperature to melt to make a silky texture.
I sure hope they are better then store bought now. They just have no taste and melt in 5 seconds. How do you store these? Can you freeze them? Thanks will try coffee ones too.

I would so make these as I just got a mixer, but sadly corn syrup isn't easy to find in the UK, nor is it cheap!
you could use honey or agave nectar instead
Corn syrup is liquid glucose in the UK!
I am sure u can find it, just in other name u might not know
Use liquid glucose :) Corn syrup and liquid glucose are interchangeable, i used liquid glucose and they turned out awesome
in sri lanka we dont even use that.. it comes out perfectly.. i even make it today without it.
Thanks for the recipe! They turned out super fluffy!

agar agar works the same way as gelatine and its plant based

you can use gelatine that is not from pigs or agar agar which is made from plants. both work the same way

The gelatin brand is KNOXX,,,, I don't know if it came from marshmallow root?? Not sure :/
