Your fidelity will not necessarily prevent your wife from seeking divorce after the kids are older and she has grown tired of you. Besides the payoff is usually pretty good for the woman - in fact, our family law courts actually incentivize women to get divorced. So, Daniel, besides keeping your britches zipped also keep your fingers crossed. lol
No, of course it's not fair. but it's case law in nearly all states. I could go on more about the bogus area of "law" called family law, which is just a joke. none of those lawyers would last a second in a corporate law environment.
@John Kevin How else do you handle that? The government doesn't provide attorneys like they do in criminal cases. And even in criminal cases, the attorneys vary from having Alzheimer's, literally, to being quite good. The best case is to do like my brother did and hire a mediator to negotiate the division of assets. It's a lot less expensive than involving the courts as by the time you get to court, virtually everything is done and just needs the court to sign off on the plan. Unfortunately, that only works in cases where the two parties are on relatively good terms. I'm guessing that in this case, there was something going on that drove up the legal expenses. Not that I disagree with divorce being set up in a way that massively favors women at the expense of men.
Only two minutes in and can’t believe a man who got railroaded once already in a divorce is engaged to another woman who only makes $26,000 a year and almost 40.
Before you marry this guy, talk to the ex-wife. Find out exactly what happened (unless you already know it firsthand). More importantly, find out which lawyer the ex-wife used. You'll be needing him soon enough.

Debt isn’t the issue, circumstances are what matter. If you find out your significant other has 20k in debt and makes 30k a year, without intent to change, big problem. If they have 20k in debt, make 30k a year and are actively looking to change their circumstance, no issue.
Dude got hosed in the divorce. I can see why, my attorney pretty much told me there’s not much point in fighting if your wife is a SAHM. You just sit there and take it. The divorce court system needs to be torn down and replaced

well i guess thats why hes the fiance and not the husband. honestly whoever the caller is, its time to find someone else to marry.
I would NOT feel any obligation for paying off somebody else's debts...
Nah Dave...I’d say run. Too many fish in the sea
I'm debt-free, with a net worth of over $500k, but still can't find any woman interested in me. Yet people with $250k in debt can find a woman. Figure that one out.
Truth!
@@Jeff-xy7fv Seems like the Iadies want to save a man with a lot of Debt and Problems.
Jeff- with 500k in net worth, you should start renting women.
That dude is wrong for not telling her about his debt
For that dude to take a beating like that in the divorce he had to have cheated.
Yeah....with the caller.
Dave's face for the first few minutes of this call hahaha
He got robbed in that last marriage lol. Another reason why I just can't get married ever!
He got robbed with a piece of marriage paper and not a gun.
But if she had 100,000 in school debt for a worthless degree, he should just overlook that, yeah right
Jo Anne, they are not yet married. She still has the option of walking away. @@Ms.SassyPants1980
Are you bragging or complaining? How many proposals have you rejected?
@@JimzAuto neither! Just stating my personal preference based off my beliefs! I don't plan to propose to anyone or get proposed to. I'm fine with the way my life is.
Leave him and get a better job yourself...
Anybody listening to these calls make you feel better about your situation?
Once I got married I knew it was for life! I will never cheat or get divorced. I LOVE MY FAMILY.
Your fidelity will not necessarily prevent your wife from seeking divorce after the kids are older and she has grown tired of you. Besides the payoff is usually pretty good for the woman - in fact, our family law courts actually incentivize women to get divorced. So, Daniel, besides keeping your britches zipped also keep your fingers crossed. lol
Dave S Woman’s easy way of making passive income and encouraging man to keep working, building/paying off credit and taxes.
And everything is perfect...until you're served with devorce papers in the morning...THEN she will tell you how imperfect you always were...
@@redleader7988 not worried.
what does that have to do with this guys debt?
lol Dave thinks the reason he lost 250k is the lawyer lol
Dave knows how bad marriage is. He's out to hep women get rich, not men
@John Kevin In most states, the one who earns substantially more money will be the one paying attorney fees on both sides.
He's a Christian so he believes in marriage. Unfortunately.
I love that she sounds really resolute. I believe this woman will break it off with him if he doesn't get serious.
I agree !
Only two minutes in and can’t believe a man who got railroaded once already in a divorce is engaged to another woman who only makes $26,000 a year and almost 40.
Listening to this made me feel good being single.
Before you marry this guy, talk to the ex-wife. Find out exactly what happened (unless you already know it firsthand). More importantly, find out which lawyer the ex-wife used. You'll be needing him soon enough.
This guy got hammered in court getting divorced and he’s going to get married again?! Men, stop making your life difficult!!!
U r Lucky, u know this before u marry him. You have to RUN
I am never EVER getting married.
This is a MAJOR red flag. He’s immature for suckering her into it knowing she didn’t know anything.
Why won’t he try to go back to court and see if he can get things readjusted.
The lawyers never lose no matter which side they’re on: $60k
You don't have to pay your lawyer if he looses your case this badly (federal law)
Found out about the debt after they engage..
Redflags!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Don't marry anyone with heavy debt. Especially if it's over 10k
I am almost debt free don’t want no one to be in debt
C B what did your wife study in school? If you don’t mind me asking.
@C B
That's good to hear.
You're a lucky man to find a good one.
Domonic Ramos i graduated with 12k in student loans, thankfully we “lived” off my partners income until i payed it all off In a few months. Idk I feel like 12k was not too bad at all? lol.
This man was ripped off, pretty bad my I add.
He didn't necessarily roll anything over into that Suburban. They start at $50K and you can go over $80K on one.
lol dave isn't a straight shooter, if this was his daughter he'd for sure tell her she shouldn't marry this guy. I've heard Dave tell people how stupid it is to buy a house or a car they couldn't afford, well it's even worse to sign up for hundreds of thousands in debt without even being able to enjoy any assets.
Agree he wouldn't let his daughter marry a man who got debt
I Will Never Ever Ever Get Married 🤦🏽
I am sure he was a sweetheart. Lying to you about all of this until you get engaged, only means will lie again and when you get married
Only the lawyers win in a divorce, except in this case. The ex wife made out like a bandit.
I wonder if she meant $90k was his take home.Because,if you factor in taxes...the poor guy only get s about $20k a year to live off. His ex took him to the cleaners.
There's absolutely no way half his income goes to alimony and support. If there is, he needs to go back to court, tomorrow.
My x-fiance did the same exact thing to me. Best thing to do for me, was to walk away.
"And you both have to have a high desire to get out of money."
Mission accomplished.
Lol!
Don’t do it
It sounds like she was the mistress and took him from his wife. She didn’t know about the debt but she knows all of details about the divorce.
Lady... leave this man.
1:35. Just in passing, maybe it's a regional thing, but I've heard in recent years a lot of people say "whenever" meaning "when."
Run, girl! RUN!
Not getting married to ANYONE that has massive crushing debt, is the smartest play anyone can make. Your future spouse won't suddenly get smart on money when they get married, so that has to be a deal breaker.
