I own a Pinarello F12, the bike is flat out fast and handles like nothing else. All these bikes are fine machines, for me I love the Pinarello looks all the way back the Think 2. You strip off the paint (maybe not the Cervélo in this group) and it is difficult to tell them apart. That will never be the case with Pinarello.
For me, the pinarello and sl7 stand out. They just look amazing. Am waiting for the new tarmac to make it mine (conditional that they have nice colors) if not, then white pinarello
Pinarello is like a ferrari of bike, looks so futuristic and manly and the Cervelo is like the most fancy one in look. I pick both Cervelo and Pinarello
You can get a Pinarello F5 with 105 di2 for the price of a Dogma F frame. Yes it is lower grade carbon but do you need Dogma levels? I bought the F7 with Ultegra Di2 and upgraded the wheels to Zipp 404 and the tires to Vittoria Corsa Pro's. In total the bike costs about 7300 like this if you can get a good deal. With Assioma power meter pedals, two elite bottle cages and camelbak bottles, garmin mount and garmin 840 the bikes comes in complete at 8.5 kilos. Not heavy by no means. Take out the pedals and all other stuff easily a 7.5 kilo bike. So the new F series from Pinarello is the value for money bike. It is slightly cheaper than a non s-works sl7 with similar equipment and any s5 by a large margin.
it wasn't long ago that 28mm tyres were regarded as super wide, massive, gigantic and only used in winter rides. I ditched 25mm for 28mm back around 2017. The difference in comfort was easily noticable and being more comfortable especially on longer rides led to better performance too.
Great video! But would love to see more videos of some other brands like Scott, Bianchi, giant and lapierre. Seen so many videos of sl7s and Pinarello now.

The CERVELO S5 cockpit was not designed to cheat the wind it was a way the engineers came up with the solution of running mechanical cables and reducing the bends.
Pina f is beautiful…that color is possibly the worst currently on offer and the paint looks amazing in real life.. love The SL7 too.. although complete Dura Ace bike is £800 more than the Dogma.. cervelo cool but too ‘aero’ for me.. frankly any of us would be happy with any of them! I will probably pick the Pinarello because it looks different. I will not pick the Specialized S-Works because it is too common of a bike. Plus the Specialized bikes value will do a nose dive after you take it out of the shop.

@@lennytellez8589 I recently got the Sworks SL8 with SRAM Red (new version) and Roval CLX II Team wheels and it's my favorite by far. Faster times than the others, more comfortable and awesome on flats and climbs.
Team Wanty, Cube Litening Aero C:68X! After being a Canyon fan for a decade I got a Cube (because Cube finally decided to do proper paint jobs). I wanted an Aeroad, but Canyon could not deliver. I am really amazed what the Cube can do, some say it is up there with the Aeroad, Pride 2, Aerfast 4, and I agree. Nice side affect, I have money left for a second high end bike 👍

Same here. Its just a lovely looking bike in that paint job. The pinarello is just straight up ugly. Looks like a child tried to design something edgy looking. SL7 looks nice as well.
I think I'd go with something like Scott Foil or Merida Reacto. If I only had to go with one of 4 bikes featured in the video, then the choice would be Dogma. They are all aero frames that have higher stack than usual, so chances are you'll be more comfortable in the aero hoods position.
S-works all the way..ive owned the dogma and its a different ride..the SL7 tarmac just seems more lively and responsive..the hate for the s-works sl7 comes because of the price tag..lol
Jamie owned one, it was not only the heaviest bike he’s ever owned despite a fortune spent on modifications and the maintenance on the rim brake version was horrendous, in fact many bike shops were turning them away and pro team mechanics rejoiced when they were replaced. They certainly were aero though!
i like how you said premium bikes and not the best bikes , because anyone who's been into cycling for a while can tell you that price and quality/value have very little to do with each other in cycling - particularly when it comes to 'premium' brands .
Great video - thank you. As per 99% of cyclists, I'd love a new bike. However, how can you choose when it's almost impossible to test ride anything. Do people really spend north of £5k without actually riding one? Also, 54cm for you SL7 seems far too small when I look at their size chart - I'm guessing you're around 185cm?
There are some bike shops that now offer test rides and we can't recommend doing that enough! And Jamie is 183cm so yes the size chart would put him on a 56cm...he's pretending he's a pro...and to be fair the bike fitter last week didn't chuck him out!
