I got an f10. No sure why I ever would need a version that is made after that... (well, if they start selling their frames at about half price, I might consider it.....

Pinarello is number 1 on my list of bikes to stay away from for many reasons I don't care to go in to. I don't get what people see in them to give my honest opinion. Maybe it comes down to people thinking if it cost a lot of money it's got to be a good product, but it's just Italian design that's been the norm for a lot of overpriced fashion for a long time. It's still made in a Country that has a lot of quality control issues.
in my opinion I really just like their design of big and "curvy" tubes throughout their whole range of frames. nearly all other brands make thin tube frames except their aero ones. I know they tend to be heavier due to more material but I really like the bigger look. Another reason as a really tall rider with 99cm inseam, their endurance frames have a really upright geometry, that you only really get from trek as well
Not sure I agree. We do agree on ‘expensive’ but the price point is exactly the same with Specialized, TREK, Giant, and many other premium brands, except Canyon but thats because they have a different sourcing model. The point that I disagree with is that Pinarello have taken the R&D capability, innovation and significant improvements to bike technology to a whole different level: geometry, aerodynamics, comfort, build quality, and so many others. Yes, stupidly expensive but you get way more (at the same price) from other premium brands. Obviously a personal view…
@@tsops22 You've never owned Pinarello I take it? I have had two and they were junk. I have had talks with carbon frame repair companies and they say it too. I don't understand where you get that they take build quality to a whole other level. Sorry but you are wrong. People who think that carbon fiber is a good material to use in building bikes should take the time to research more information from these companies doing frame repair. At the end of the day Pinarello is carbon and no different than any other carbon bike out there.
@ 56 years old, have a few bikes, 3 pinarellos from 1991 onwards. T900 Ticr is the highest grade carbon in the market, same used across 6 brands (some of which I named already). But I really dont understand your point as you generalise: is your issue ‘carbon’ more generally? If so, what does Pinarello have to do with that? Most commercial brands have gone down that route. I own aluminium and titanium bikes and equally love them. But I honestly don’t see what you are trying to say here. May be me, apologies if so, all good!
But Chinese and Taiwanese are better skilled in making carbon products than the Europeans. It’s not nice that Pinarello tries to hide the fact but the tech and skillset is much better there in far east.
i have a F10 love it, for the high price for the Dogma F i would think they would have much better colors.
