    What an excellent repair video. It was the most complete and best explained of any on the internet.

    Oh for the days I used to be able to grunt things around, they end quite abruptly it seems.
    I always hope for the day I don't get jittery winding up a project. I guess if they haven't come
    by now they more then likely won't. Great job on the tractor and thank you for taking the time to
    share it with us. Ken

      Thanks dude. It was way more effort than I had planned on, but it was a good learning experience. I know the single cylinder Commands pretty well now.

    Excellent video. I'm having an issue with my 2166 and you have given me an insight into what I may need to do to remedy it. Well done.

      Glad to be of some help! These are great little engines with a couple flaws that are pretty easily remedied.

    Do you know what steps to take my fuel filter doesn’t have any fuel in it. I changed out the mechanical pump and filter what would you do for the next step

    • @SolunaGarage

      A few things:
      #1: check for fuel flow from tank to pump inlet through the main fuel line. Over time debris can settle at the bottom of the tank and block flow. Fuel lines can also deteriorate and swell closed. Just unhook the line, if you have at least half a tank of fuel, it should gravity feed the line and you should see a steady stream of fuel. If not, blow through the line and see if you can blow back into the tank and get fuel to come back out.
      #2: New doesn't always mean good. Where did you get the mechanical pump? Are you sure it is functional? A lot of these cheap knockoffs are hit/miss as far as quality goes.

    • @SolunaGarage
      @SolunaGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the superseded part number is 12 707 01-S and is the kit that eliminates the SAM.

      You'll like working on the Kohler single cylinder engines. Super easy.

    i have the exact same engine .can u do a video on how to adjust the electric PTO clutch?

    • @SolunaGarage
      @SolunaGarage  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The PTO clutch is non-adjustable on this tractor. You must have this engine installed on a different machine.
