Beautiful car but there are some issues I didn't expect to see on a car that supposedly has over $100k invested in it. There are some body panel fit issues, especially in the back and around the trunk. Also, a $100k car should not have a piece of carpet covering the dash, not to mention several other problems I saw on the interior. A $100k classic car should be show quality.
The Walkin Dude I’m pretty sure all 1st - 3rd gen camaro come w dash panel covers it isn’t “ a piece of carpet “ it’s a legit piece to the car...
@@TBoogie00_ That is incorrect, sir. The factory dash pad is made of a sheetmetal foundation that’s covered with vinyl over foam. This carpet over dash technique is used by many classic car restorers when the correct parts can't be found and to reduce cost. But, it's usually seen in cars a lot less expensive than this one.
The Walkin Dude I was going to disagree with you because not everything can be perfect, but once I got to the interior part of the video I completely agree with you. By far the absolute worst interior I have seen in anything relative to a classic/sports/luxury, whatever. Hell the original interior is about 10x better and the third gen Dodge Cummins trucks are a step up compared to this, which is really sad because other than that, the car is aesthetically beautiful on the exterior, and I believe they did the car just right with performance swaps as well. Interior needs to be gutted, and redone. Not truly custom whatsoever. If they already put 100k into it, it seems as money is not an issue so they might as well go all the way

Sweet ride, but the early 2000s Corvette seats and speaker upholstery are hideous. The interior does a disservice to the rest of the car.

1:35-1:45. For a car with over 100K invested, I'd expect to see the center deck lid part of the rear spoiler to line up correctly with each side of the spoiler.

@Ada 1812 the only time I've seen cars with cracked pads, they are '70s cars with cheap vinyl , that bake in the sun all day. Worse if its black I'm sure. Just use windshield visors when the car isn't being driven!! Or garage keep a car that you've spent that much money on.

@@604cuinkillah i rewatched the video, at no point did they open the trunk to show it off, and then just rest it back down without shutting it fully......so there's no reason to assume the trunk is partially opened. And why would you show off a car like this with the trunk ajar the whole time? Would make no sense at all.

He spent $100k on accessories from Walmart. The carpet dash cover is puke-worthy and a 10-bolt…yikes! The fabric he chose is from a late 80s GM car…it screams “dated and cheap”
Spoiler doesn’t line up on the trunk, dash mat, booger welds on the headers..... def not $100k car!

It's most likely he paid to have it built which is usually real expensive, a friend of mine had the same car as mine built, it cost over double the price of my hand built car for less power.
Braided steel lines routed quarter of an inch from the header tubes. Whatever fluid flows in those lines will be vaporizing. Yeh, I remember the first time I built a car...

No way there is 100k in this car where’s the heidts or hotchkis k member with tubing a arms and brembo with drilled rotors? What about the independent rear end that costs 10k? This car is beautiful but definitely does not have 100k worth of parts an labor. Does it have original steel panels bumpers doors and fenders?

Leather seats with electric control both front and warmers... Elect windows-trunk new leather 3 cup holder console and 6 speed manual transmission with 9 bolt ford rear end... Tilted steering, electronic dash interior and exterior lights are LED...
TOTALS... $57,764.65...

Awesome Camaro, until you opened up the hood. I hate it when LS engines go into the old stuff, would have been a killer car with a stroked out 396 or 454, but that's just my opinion.
I agree if you're going to do matching numbers but if you're not worried about matching numbers, I love the ls swap

Over 100k injected into this ride... Why are the $9.00 exterior door handles on the car? #2. Why didn't a body man align the deck lid so as to align the spoiler with the qtr pnl ext pieces? #3. Drivers door squeaked so bad... I was waiting for Herman Munster to step out. #4. Custom dash pad carpet. Some Zoomies I guess we're outta the scenario.

Did you ever find a buyer? That car is seriously the best I've seen. Love the cam lope too. Don't know what it is about a good lope and the way it sounds after it idles back down then starts loping. It's pure music
