I dont get why its considered a renegade option. Like, this guys we are infilitrating are *scum* , and they are here to kill our friend. Shepard is going to shoot at them eventually, might as well start early. AND it will make helicopter fight easier. What - Shepard supposed to not use this opportinity just because its "dishonorable" or something? Also, good batarian is dead batarian.

That's one epic line indeed. Another one like that would be in the first Matt Smith Episode where he prompts the Alien Invader to check and analyze him thouroughly about WHO he is and the Alien going "WELP! Bye Bye!"

@@Rednova08 it's a toss up between 1 and 2 for me. 2 has the stronger dialogue and combat, but I still think 1 has the strongest story in the trilogy. Will be intresting to see what it's like when the remaster comes out
@@themadhammer3305 aye, I always put it like this: 1, is set to introduce us to the story and main reason and plot of the games. 2, is set to show why these games are some of the best out there when it comes to fighting, abilities and creating great villains And 3, is set to show how every decision you make in a game will have either positive or negative consequences. I'd complement the ending buy I'm still not sure yet.

@@clothar23 Actually saving the council doesn't prevent you from going this route. The dialogue just changes to Shepard having sacrificed thousands of Alliance lives to save the destiny ascension.
Her dialogue says "you're bluffing" but her action of taking the weapon off the hostage to immediately aim at Shepard says "holy shit I INSTANTLY REGRET THIS DECISION"
Fun fact. Shepherd will only say certain lines in this dialogue based on your previous choices in ME 1 & 2 ie. sparing the rachni queen during a side quest.

@@clothar23 Being relentless is not the same thing that being corrupt. Even specters have some kind of "code", that's why Saren was dismissed and consequently being hunted. After all, they answer to the council and the council alone
Paragon Shepard gets their moments. This being one of them. Another favorite of mine is when you accept being a specter and do thanes loyalty mission. If you wait to long in the interrogation and the lawyer comes in you can tell him your a specter and he pretty much loses his calm demeanor sense specters are immune to the law.
There's also a moment in the Omega DLC in ME 3 where if you've done a Paragon run up until you defeat Patrovsky, you can to a Renegade interrupt in the cutscene afterwards and shoot him dead, much to the surprise of Aria..

Even full paragon Shepard has a body count that would make a Reaper blush. So go ahead Vasir, take a hostage. Don't worry you'll live, how well you live is entirely dependant on the condition of the hostage.
Maybe but Vasi doesnt know that. His words got to her and made her lose control and aim at him instead of the hostage now. It was a very smart move that paid off.
My favorite badass line was always, "What sound will you make when you hit the ground? You think you'll hear it before you die?" when Shepard presses the guard up to the window in the upper levels of a high rise. Specifically the line delivered from a femshep. It's always worth going a little renegade for that one.
"Look Vasir, I'm a goddamn failure. I failed and stuff got massively worse because of me! You think I won't miss your head and shoot the hostage instead? How naive!"
I believe it was only alien lives on the ascension? The human councilor wasn't even onboard because humans weren't really embraced and completely brought into politics by that point I think lol
Renegade Shepard has some great one liners in ME2. My favourite is when a merc tells him "I have nothing to say to you" so he pushes him out of a window then says "how about goodbye?" 😂
The reason this sounds so renegade is because it’s extraordinarily paragon to get that Gun pointed at Shepherd instead of the hostage. Making Vasir scared of Shepherd more than trying to delay Shepherd.
lolalgorithm for a 10 year old video, but this right here is a good example of why I prefer Femshep as whole, her delivery of this line gave me chills. His just gave me eye strain from rolling them too hard.

In the Overlord DLC, Shep threatened to kill that idiotic doctor if he goes after his brother. And that was the paragon option.

Rachni are both main mission (Noveria) AND sidequest line (Listening Post...) But the only choice that matters is queen on Peak 15 yeah.

Renegade Shepard has some great one liners in ME2. My favourite is when a merc tells him "I have nothing to say to you" so he pushes him out of a window then says "how about goodbye?" 😂
The reason this sounds so renegade is because it’s extraordinarily paragon to get that Gun pointed at Shepherd instead of the hostage. Making Vasir scared of Shepherd more than trying to delay Shepherd.

lolalgorithm for a 10 year old video, but this right here is a good example of why I prefer Femshep as whole, her delivery of this line gave me chills. His just gave me eye strain from rolling them too hard.
If you save the council he’ll say something like he scarified a lot of human lives
